My insurance deductible was $250, yet they demanded $650 and refused to release my car unless I paid. After waiting 34 days, I had no choice but to settle for $350 just to get my vehicle back. They do not respond to calls or text messages. The only way I could get them to answer was by calling from an unknown number. Also, after looking at the reviews, I noticed that some positive reviews appear to be from employees, which raises concerns about their credibility. I would not recommend this place to anyone. As someone who has never had experience dealing with an insurance claim like this, he didn't explain the full process, including that my car would be immediately taken away after the claim is submitted. I was still unsure of everything and told him I'll see everything goes, not that I would go through with the clam completely. He texted me at 8:30pm last night and after I requested to cancel it because I needed my car this week, he pressured me to pick up my car late that night with almost no notice saying he "doesn't have room" now that he's not making any money from this. He said he will leave my car key inside my car which was parked on a busy and trafficked street. After specifically requesting for him not to leave my key in my car and that I do not agree to that, it was still left inside my unlocked car overnight. Thankfully nothing happened to it, but this was negligent and irresponsible. There was also plenty of room as the street was almost empty. He also never fixed my mirror as promised. All of the one-star reviews are accurate - don't trust the fake five-star reviews. If you value professionalism, honesty and the safety of your vehicle go to a different body shop. Thought I was dropping it off but was sent home with a car with an open sunroof with some crash wrap that didn't hold up. Replacement took longer than expected, and when my wife brings it home the headliner was dirty, falling down and the hand grab bards are missing parts. The sunroof is missing parts. Next big rain and my car is flooded. So they ask to bring it in so they can take pictures and order a new part not one with dry rotted seals but when we get there they want us to come back for a water test. I don't have the time to do this 6 times. I could have went anywhere and wished I had went anywhere else.

I suppose I should mention too that it was 8:40 in the morning and the temp was going to be in the high 90's. Thankfully we were stalled next to an opening in the pylons to the south traveling traffic so when the car had cooled enough, we got off at the first available exit-Hanover St and found this garage. The two gentleman at Whay's were so SO kind and quickly diagnosed our problem (bad fan motor) and offered us advice as to who could fix it quickly for us (we were en route to Maine for work). The woman who works here even offered us water. We were so grateful for their kindness and that they took the time to even look at the car given they were already backed up with work so they must be good.
