New boba establishment at the heart of Glendale. As locals, we've tried all the boba spots around here and this is already up there! We tried a berry blended drink and a matcha milk tea and both were delicious. Boba texture and quality is great. WORTH VISITING! Bobobaba's concept (in how they present their drinks, store, and brand) is fun, refreshing and a great addition to the offerings on Brand. The shop is still a WIP but it already feels cozy, with lots of chairs and tables in their signature blue color and wooden furnishings. They're currently in Soft Opening, when we visited, so they're still working out pre-opening tangles. My husband and I have been eyeing on this Boba spot and it did not disappoint. We both got vanilla cream top for the Berry Bang and Many Strawberries. The drink was the perfect sweetness level not too overly sweet and not too bland. Not to mention the details of the ambiance is so friendly and welcoming. If you come here, you better have a lot of time to burn. We had 2 hours to kill before our dinner plans 40 mins away. We placed our order for 4 drinks and ended up being late to dinner. Got a parking ticket for running out of time to top it off. This is the 2nd time we've been here and the last time was quite a wait also, but the drinks were good, so we thought if it was similar to our last wait time, the drinks were worth it and deserving of another chance. The tea here is delicious. I definitely recommend the many strawberries, it tastes like real strawberries instead of artificial strawberry flavor. And the service here was so good. I've visited this place multiple times, but it kept failing me lately. The drink quality has gone down, and the service is even worse. I ordered my drinks 15 minutes ahead, but when I showed up, they still weren't ready. The staff told me the system didn't print the receipt, but they said it with attitude and didn't seem too bothered. I've only gotten one drink so far. The mango one, but it is really good! The first time I came the boba had an interesting mochi like texture. The second time it tasted like normal good chewy boba. Not sure which one is the norm but both are great! It's been interesting watching this boba shop rebrand/change hands and I hope this one stays a while and continues to expand their menu. The inside has cute seats with minimalistic decor. They have a current promo on Tuesdays where if you bring your dog you get a free drink! This place does a few key things really well imo as far as boba places go. Simple menu - boba time with their million items and ding tea with their mods and sweetness tiers etc. boba doesn't need to be so tedious to order. This place does a few items and each one I've tried has been delicious and really memorable. Community - handing out large free drinks like it ain't no thang. My partner and I walked out with both our big drinks for free because it was a Tuesday and we had a dog. Not a discount, free mod or upgrade... the ENTIRE order on the house. Place was full of people with their dogs and it was a good time. Service is fine, everyone's been real sweet to us so far. Vibe is real minimalist and quiet, kinda just a get in and out place. Everything besides the registers is walled behind a large curtain, which is sorta weird but whatever... I can see where it might not be everyone's jam but I think it's cool. We haven't experienced any long waits either. I haven't even mentioned the quality of everything we've tasted being leagues above the other places. You can just tell everything is top notch... Foam toppers taste like actual whipped cream, fruit purées taste real and fresh, not a corn syrup flavor, etc. Ding Tea still rivals them but Boba Time tastes cheap now in comparison. I rarely leave reviews on Yelp but this place blew me away with their customer service and drinks! First day I came I got the matcha jasmine and classic cream top milk tea- both were great, you could really taste the jasmine and matcha, boba was chewy, classic cream top had an interesting sea salt flavor also. Drinks were great balance of creaminess and tea. I came back the next day with my dog and they were doing a special promotion where if you bring your dogs on Tues you get a free drink and they threw in a pup cup for my dog :) it's rare to come across places that have such great customer service with good drinks so I'll definitely be back!!!! read more

You guys. I paid $.70 for crystal boba and there was none in my Yuzu Yuzu drink. It's all packed with ice and pineapple bits on the bottom. Hope you do a better job next time making the drink. It tastes good, however, way too much ice and very little drink. So make sure to ask for less ice and check for boba before you leave the place. read more

My partner and I came for the soft opening and got two matcha drinks. The matcha boba with jasmine tea and the cream top matcha. Both were so tasty. We agreed that we haven't had good matcha in a minute and this was, in fact, quite good. We'll definitely be back not only for the beverages, but the inside seating. I am literally OBSESSED. We saw this in our neighborhood and decided to give it a shot, and oh my god, the Oreo boba is insanely good. It's the perfect amount of sweetness, and richness, and I pretty much sucked it down in five minutes. I can be pretty picky about milk teas; a lot of places use artificial sweeteners, and the taste just ruins the drink for me. That is definitely not the case here.
