Drinks were fantastic. The staff was able to guide me to drinks that I would most likely enjoy so I appreciated that. The tea station had plenty of places to sit and chat while you have your bolba tea or other drinks. Would come back if in the area. Good setting to just hang out and have some chat time with your friends.

Don't miss this hidden gem! This is a cute little tea shop hiding in a strip mall with other shops. Easy to miss, but it is right next to a popular fried chicken place. Shared parking lot means plenty of parking, too! Inside is a cute little seating area and adorable bear decals on the walls. There is also a little claw game near the restroom. Both times I have been here I was helped by the same man who works at the counter and makes the drinks. From other pictures and reviews, I think he may be the owner? I'm not sure, but he is really nice and helpful and helped me pick my first thing to try when I came in. I ordered the Phoenix oolong with boba; a deliciously roasty iced drink with perfect boba! Admittedly, on my 2nd visit, I got it adjusted to 75% sweetness and did not love it as much but that is all on me. This one is best as it comes, full sweetness! I need to try other drinks but I really like the Phoenix Oolong. It's like a classic milk tea but better. Give it a try!

My first time here for a cup sleeve event (which they hold a lot of) and was pleasantly surprised by how good the drinks are! I got a rose gy tea latte with fresh milk and the tea flavor was really strong and not too sweet at 75% sweet! The boba was also a really nice texture and overall the drink was super enjoyable. It's a pretty large store, which is why they have room to host a lot of events and the staff is super friendly. I would definitely come back if I'm in the area even if not for an event. It's also part of a large shopping center so parking isn't really an issue.

We Customized a Boba and karaoke night for Villa Park women's league new members. The owner and Brian our host went above and beyond to make sure we had everything set up and an open tab to try different Bobas and teas. Our small but mighty group tried several things and were all pleased, esp adding in the lychee. The super cute logo on each cup sealed the deal. We will definitely be back and bring more friends.

Best Catering / Self-Serve Service! Their service was PERFECT for my nieces graduation party. I emailed an inquiry and received a quote within less than 24 hours. I ordered 1 box of Ceylon Milk Tea, 1 box of Peach Green Tea and 3 containers of lychee and boba to self-serve. The customer service was amazing, they accommodated a last minute early pick up change and also provided me with plenty of boba straws. The quality of everything was delicious, it was a huge success for my party. Definitely will be ordering here for my future events!

After watching the Enhypen VR concert at Cinemark nearby, we wanted some boba at a spot with decent indoor seating. I remembered BobaTEAque from previous cup sleeve events (that I couldn't attend) and that it was nearby, so off we go! I ordered the Rose TGY oolong milk tea ($6.50) with 25% sugar and less ice and boba topping ($0.75). They were also cool enough to use my reusable tumbler for my boba drink so I can avoid another single use plastic cup. Drink was refreshing and just what I needed on a hot day! Plenty of seating inside. Restroom available for customers. Only downside is no food on the menu if you wanted some snacks. However, they were okay with outside food that my friend, who hadn't eaten lunch yet, bought from a nearby store, so appreciate them allowing that.

Tasty! Great mix of tea to cheese foam ratio. Ceylon black tea

Joshua P.

Great Boba spot. They have an interesting option to tryout, it's their KoKoNutz item. Harris was an excellent representative of this company. Very knowledgeable and passionate about his product and boba in general. If ypu need guidance on a solid ratio of boba to cheese foam, ask Harris.

Gabriel B.

It's a solid little shop, ample seating and wasn't busy at all on a Sunday afternoon. The tea itself was good, and they have these little claw machines for people to interact with.

Elizabeth P.

Tried this place out for an afternoon pick me up. It's a cute and clean place with a self order kiosk. The menu was extensive but we tried the teas. Flavor was good and adjustment to 50% sweetness was good. However, I was not a fan of the hard boba. It was a bit off putting as I am used to fresh, soft and chewy boba when I am being charged extra for it.

Sarah P.

Tea & boba are pretty good here! Limited seating inside and kind of empty so probably not a place I'd come to hang out, but the guy who took our order was nice and friendly!

Liz P.

A++ service and the drink was absolutely divine. They KNOW TEA. I don't even know what drink I got but the owner made a personalized one according to my taste. I never finish a big drink but this one is gone. Very clean shop and the staff were friendly.

Liby B.

Delicious boba drinks !! Great service! Best of all they have Karaoke!! So fun for kids!

Gabrielle M.

This boba place is nearby a taekwondo center I take lessons at. I see multiple parents & students come here after a long session of practice, and this place doesn't lie when they say they have the best boba in town. Their milk teas are creamy and refreshing, and the boba is really chewy! I love the brown sugar they add to make the boba flavorful. Keep in mind: this place only has one size, but its size is worth its price I'd say. They also sell pudding if you're looking for a savory snack. When you order, you have the choice to place an order with a touchscreen tablet if you're not too interactive, or the staff would be glad to assist your order! They are really kind :) Inside, they have a small claw machine hidden in the corner near the bathroom, with limited edition cup holders by their glass divider, where you can see what they make, and in the front are multiple tables to sit at. On Fridays, they hold karaoke nights if you would like to go with your friends to buy some boba. They also have Limited Edition Cupholder events with KPop Idols or just characters from a game/series, where they have the room decorated and multiple stands with merch you can buy! I love these cute events they hold for them. If you are looking forward to finding a place that has these kinds of things of your liking, I definitely recommend coming here. 10/10!!

Apparently the owner did not teach the girl how to be nice to people... First time here, and after looking at the menu, the girl came up to take our order. My friend tried to order the watermelon green tea and asked for zero sugar, and the girl told her no, and said my friend would not be able to taste the tea. So my friend asked for quarter sugar, and she gave my friend a face, and said "watermelon isn't even sweet right now." My friend and I looked at each other... and I proceeded to order first. I asked her if the Ceylon milk tea latte or the grapefruit green tea is better, and she just looked at me like I'm stupid and said they're two different things, one is milky and one is fruity. Here is where we all insert "no..way" Yes, I know how to read. I wanted a recommendation as it's my first time... Anyways, her tone, facial expressions, and the things she said were all very opposite of what I would expect for customer service, especially when we approached her nicely. I headed for the restroom, and as I tried to open the door, the girl sounded annoyed and said, "You need a key for the restroom." She just lifted her hand with the keys, and my friend walked over and took the keys. She made it sound like I was suppose to know I needed a key for the restroom. Well, if you had a sign by the restroom door, I would have a better idea. Our drinks were very meh, my grapefruit drink is very sweet. There was a guy there that greeted us when we came in, and asked me if my drink was okay. If I was in a better mood, I would ask him nicely to remake it, but I was so upset by that girl I just wanted to leave and throw my drink away. One star for this whole thing, one more star as the guy was nice. read more

I love this boba boutique! Great customer service by Harris & Yuki! Quick service! Spacious seating! Cute photo opportunity with a boba bear! I get something different each time and each time I'm pleasantly impressed and satisfied! There's sweetness and ice adjustments for most of their drinks! And their boba is different than the usual boba shop, but it's SO GOOD! And you can actually taste the tea and the fresh ingredients they use! The cups are also very durable and I'm happy to reuse them (and I the little red heart)Definitely recommending this place to all my friends in the area! read more

We were craving milk tea and found this place on Yelp and saw that it just opened. So we gave it a shot. And this place did NOT disappoint! I recommend this place if you need your milk tea fix. We ended up getting the 3 Royal Ceylon Milk Tea and a Coffee Milk Tea, after we were given a sample of it, AND LOVED IT!! The cups are also reusable!! Love the eco-friendliness. The place is clean and modern and the owners are awesome as well! Grand opening will be in December. We will be going to this place when we're in the area. Good job guys!! read more

Great service! The cashier was extremely friendly and courteous with my sister and me. He seemed knowledgeable and well mannered when it came to ordering and conversation. I got the Ceylon Black Milk Tea (50% sugar [he suggested it'd be around 25% in other boba places] and 50% ice. The drink was just the right amount of creaminess and sugar for me. It hovers around the more expensive side of boba but I think that the drink and service outweigh that. Will be back when I'm in OC again! read more

BobaTEAque has the best Tea drinks around! The staff an owner are very friendly which also add to the whole experience. You can customize the ice and sugar levels in each drink which is great if you don't like overly sweet drinks! The tea they brew is clean, smooth, and crisp! We moved away from bobateaque unfortunately, but still come out to get our tea fix! read more

Great little spot in orange, right next to the popular Oshima. Ive gotten the Ceylon black milk tea and coffee milk tea each time I've gone and both do not disappoint. The boba is amazing and goes very well with the Ceylon black milk tea. Plenty of parking on the plaza but gets pretty difficult once it's dinner time due to the restaurant next door. In addition to being a great place to study with plenty of seats and outlets, staff is super friendly making the visit pleasant. read more

The best boba I have ever tried, hands down. I've come to this place almost every day for the past 6 months, and the service NEVER disappoints. I feel very at home and welcome each time I come here. If you are looking for a refreshing, traditional drink, BobaTEAque will never fail. The boba is top notch, not to mention the plethera of other toppings that you may add. An immense amount of love is put into each and every drink (seriously, ask them about any drink). Their knowledge about what goes into tea is phenomenal, some of the most informed service you will find. They make each drink the best that it can possibly be. Give it a try. read more

I came here when a friend recommended this place for boba, and I'm glad she introduced me! They have a stronger tea taste compared to other shops, which I like a lot. The owners are so sweet and always recognize me when I come in! They never fail to make me feel welcome~ You can tell they know a lot about their drinks,so if you're not sure what to get just ask them and they'll find the perfect drink for you! read more

I've only tried one drink here, but I've tried it multiple times on different days and it tasted the same, so I can vouch for the consistency. Their ceylon milk tea is honestly really good, but the flavor is very light (which is surprisingly not a bad thing here). Normally I prefer a stronger tea, but the light flavor somehow meshes so well with the amount of sweetener and milk (which I believe they use actual dairy, but I can't be too sure). I found myself craving it over my usual favorite milk tea places. I want to try more drinks here, but I can see myself gravitating towards the ceylon milk tea next time I come. Also, their customer service is top tier. I went in once and the next time I came back (about a week or so later), the guy working remembered me and my order. They also deliver your drinks to your table :) Overall, a 5/5 experience. I'll be coming back even though it's 17 miles out of the way. read more

My friends and I went here after a water polo tournament in Villa Park, not knowing a thing about this establishment. When we entered we were greeted with a genuine welcome and left with knowledge of Boba's history. The owners have experience with traditional boba/tea and implement their knowledge into their business. Once we got our Cheese Foam Black Tea Boba, the owner went out of his way to teach us the correct way to enjoy the drink. We ended up in a conversation about the history of boba and teas and how this young couple is trying to expose people to the traditional ways of boba. The boba is not too bitter, not too sweet, but somehow hits the " sweet spot" and finds a happy medium between the two. For most places, a few hours of traffic won't compensate for the food, but this place is worth the drive. I recommend BobaTEAque if you want your money's worth. read more

I love boba and I always try new places. I didn't have a favorite boba place but this one officially became my favorite go to. They are so unique in drinks as well as boba having it be a golden color than the usual brown. The people who work there are so nice. I recommend this place to anyone who loves boba as much as I do. I can't wait for their grand opening! This is just the soft opening. I got a peach green tea and although it looked milky, it was nothing but fruity all the way and it had such a great taste considering how simple it was. The cutest boba shop in Orange!! Their boba is always chewy and fresh and the tea is just as great too. They are also very flexible with orders and will offer you more than 100% sweetness if you ask. I usually get the TGY Oolong milk tea but I recently went out of my comfort zone with a Mango Green tea and I was very impressed. The owner, Harris, is the sweetest guy ever. Be sure to have a conversation with him while you're in there for the full experience! I will definitely come again! read more

The couple that runs this place takes pride in the quality of their teas and ingredients and it shows. While the menu is quite simple, which I like, there is something for everyone. It's been a while since I've written a yelp review, but I felt like I needed to write one for this boba place because it was our first time here today, and I noticed that the owner knew everyone in line and would say hi to them by name. He definitely has very loyal customers, and I can see why. He was really informative and nice, and you can tell that owning a boba shop was his passion. I had their cheese foam green tea with boba and it was excellent. We're not from the area but when we visit again in a few weeks, we'll definitely stop by this boba shop again. What drew me to this establishment was their ovaltine smoothie. I've only gone to a very small handful of places that have this on their menu. It's my absolute favorite thing to get here, and I've gotten my friends hooked on it too. It's not too sweet to begin with so I usually get 100% sweetness for this drink (whereas for other boba shops I usually opt for 50% sweet for their milk teas). The boba is also always fresh and has great taste and texture. The owners are so kind and welcoming. Hands down one of my favorite boba places in OC. read more

The decor: airy. The price: competitive ($4-5 +add-ons). The service: friendly and helpful. While bobaTEAque may only have three "base" teas, there are dozens--if not hundreds--of available customizations. From custom sweetness, to multiple fruity flavors, to a variety of toppings, to non-dairy options...everything you need to make your tea personalized to your taste. One last note--while this has nothing to do with the tea itself, the lid is one of the more useful designs I've seen, with both straw and sipping options included. read more

We came here after eating at Ohshima next door and were surprised by how clean and nice the inside was. First thing we noticed at the counter was that the menu was simple and easy to understand. Not a super large selection but we prefer this since it seems like the focus is on quality over quantity. We decided on a Black Milk Tea with boba and a Kiwi Green Tea. Both were amazing and reminded me of the quality of boba drinks in Taiwan! Even at regular sugar, the drinks were not super sweet like most drink shops here in the US. The boba was the right "QQ" consistency and the tea was so smooth! Looks like their menu and sweetness scale is definitely more on the traditional Taiwanese boba shop level. We drank them rather quickly as well considering we were pretty bloated from eating dinner already. We'd even say that the drinks were better than some of the ones we had in Taiwan! Also, the service was great and the workers seemed to enjoy their job from the conversations we had! Definitely coming back to this plaza in Orange for sushi and boba soon! read more
