Adorable boba place. Stopped by bc we saw that they had shaved ice, which was perfect since we were looking for a light and sweet treat. Tried the lychee shaved ice and it was super tasty but let's be real... it's basically ice, syrup, and a scoop of ice cream. Paying $7 for that seemed a bit excessive. But I do wanna try their bubble tea if I get a chance to revisit!

The boba, especially the Thai milk tea is very good and the service in the shop was very friendly and the ambience was very cozy and welcoming. 10/10 would recommend!

Like many fellow YELPERS, we too LOVE a good boba beverage! We tried out a new boba spot today since we were in the area of Fairlawn, NJ. What could possibly go wrong if their reviews are highly rated, right?! Three staffs were on shift on a late Saturday afternoon, and we were greeted upon entry and a young man (possibly the manager) asked if we were ready to order immediately. Of course we turned away from the wall menu and replied that we were still deciding on what to order. Upon ordering my Ooglong boba, we were informed they were out of boba toppings. BUMMER! Perhaps the manager decided to hold off on replenishing another batch of bobas since it was nearly 4pm (in case any unused toppings would go to waste?!). Regardless, it's ironic that an establishment could be named BOBALY without having their main BOBA ingredient available for order. It's like going to a burger joint learning about the restaurant being out of burger buns or meat patties. Another customer ahead of us had already paid for their drinks, so the cashier refunded them $1, $0.50 extra for the inconvenience (toppings are $0.50 each), which I found very generous of them. Deducting one since my drink was missing black boba (made of cassava starch), which is different from popping bobas (filled with a burst of fruit juice). Oolong Milk Tea with coconut lychee jelly - too sweet, and watered down. Bland ooglong tea aroma, but overpowering artificial sugar syrups. Passion fruit slush with passion fruit popping boba- heavy on the passion fruit syrup. My husband confirmed this is not his favorite spot for slushies. Base on the reviews given to this establishment, It seems like other customers are a big fan of this spot. I can't see eye to eye with them. However, I would like to say their cartoon animal logo is very adorable, and inviting. Shop is very clean! Notes to the owner of this establishment: 1. Please share disclaimer(s) with customers if/when you are out of certain toppings, before we spend several minutes deciding on how to customize our drinks, bc it's very disappointing to have to reconsider what to order. 2. Also, your plastic cup sealers are very flimsy, my drink was seeping out after inserting my straw, and it got messy, hence all the napkins around my cup.

First time buying bubble tea here and it exceeded my expectations! I purchased a mango bubble tea and passion fruit bubble tea. They were both delicious. I love that they have so many flavors to mix! They also sell a bunch of cute snacks. I look forward to coming back!

I like how the bubble tea here is reasonably priced compared to other bbt shops! The bubbles are nice and chewy and there is a large amount of flavors to choose from! A great spot to pick up some refreshing bubble tea!

This new bubble tea spot opened up recently and I am always here for it! I've been here multiple times already and love it! In my photos, you can see the Passion Fruit Black Tea with Boba and the Strawberry Green Tea with Strawberry Jelly. One is sour and one is sweet but both are perfectly refreshing! All drinks are fresh made, no powders here! I also tried the Strawberry Matcha Latte which is one of the best drinks I've ever had. The strong matcha taste is perfectly balanced by the strawberry jelly and jam. Definitely find myself craving this now! I love the minimalistic yet intentional decor. Also super cute how they have some plushies and snacks for sale. This shop has such character and it's really such a special treat to come here after a long day of work. Can't wait to see what else they come up with!

Great spot if you wanna grab some fresh & delicious drinks. I love the minimalistic & clean layout of the place. Owners are super nice & friendly too. I recommend the taro slush!!

    Way too much ice

My daughter tried Thai bubble tea somewhere else and has been asking to go to a tea place so I took her here. It was only my second time in a long while. I got the Thai tea and it tasted watered down. There was some white stuff on the bottom that I mixed in with my straw which made it taste better but it was nowhere near the flavor and texture of Thai tea from basically every Thai restaurant I've been to. My daughter tried it and decided to get something else. She settled on strawberry milk tea. She tried it but didn't like it because it had "pieces." They were pieces of strawberry and I was actually pleasantly surprised after I tried it. She tried my tea again and it grew on her so we switched. My takeaway from today. 1. The Thai tea was watered down - would not recommend. 2. The strawberry milk tea was very good but kids got who don't like "pieces" may not like it. 3. There was wayyyy too much ice in our cups. At least half filled with ice. So 3 stars. One off for the Thai tea and one off for the ice.

Cute cafe with modern vibes. Decorations are nice and the space is very big. They have a few socially distant tables and chairs if you want to sit and chat with friends. They also sell nostalgic Asian snacks like Yan Yans and Pocky, just pick them up from the shelf on the left when you walk in. On to the drinks - I got the strawberry matcha latte and my boyfriend got the red bean ice. The strawberry matcha latte was so pretty, perfect for pictures. Just make sure to shake it up first. It had a nice balance of sweetness from the strawberry jelly in the bottom. I thought it was really good until I tasted the red bean ice. For someone who grew up on red bean desserts/drinks, this was delicious! Top of my list. I will be back to try their other teas.

Beautiful spot for delicious drinks! We took our son over the weekend and he loved his mango drink. We also ordered the milk tea and matcha latte.

Beautiful space! Very minimalistic and clean. They use all fresh teas and no powders, and you can adjust your sugar levels. Definitely a must try when you're in the Garden State! Support small local businesses!

We were a party of six, and service felt a bit disorganized at times. Some of the staff members don't speak English, so the cashier had to step in to assist, which I personally don't mind, but it did slow things down and affected efficiency. That said, the food was very good, and the tea was just as enjoyable. Everything we tried was flavorful and well prepared, and the ambiance was pleasant and welcoming. Despite the minor service hiccups with a larger group, I would definitely return, just with a smaller party next time. Great food and drinks make it worth another

The venue decor is clean and simple and the staff is very friendly. We kicked things off with soups. I had the hot and sour and my wife went with the egg drop. Both were a perfect start to the meal, full of flavor, comforting and surprisingly filling. Next up were the dumplings and an order of wok fried noodles. The soup dumplings were delicious and packed with flavor although the dough was a bit on the thicker side and leaned slightly toward a pork bun texture. Still very enjoyable. The noodles were excellent with a great depth of flavor. Overall, a very solid experience. We will definitely be back soon because there are plenty more items on the menu that we want to try.

The ingredients are high quality, and you can really taste the difference. One tip: go in knowing what you want to order. The staff and owner are passionate and energetic, which is great, but it can feel a bit overwhelming if you're not prepared--especially since it's a very fast-paced environment. Once you get past that initial rush, it's smooth sailing. The value here is excellent. A poke bowl runs about $15-$17, and you get a large, filling portion--honestly enough for two meals. For the quality, freshness, and portion size, that price is more than fair. Overall, this is a spot I highly recommend. Incredible food, great gluten-free options, and solid pricing make it well worth the visit. Just come in ready, move fast, and enjoy some top-notch poke.

It was a busy day at work, so I ordered ahead to pick up. When they realized I had walked over, the repacked my order into an easy to carry bag, since it had been placed in a box anticipating that I would be driving. Attention to detail here is outstanding. The restaurant is small but inviting, sunny & warm. The owners are caring & offer great suggestions for local events. I ordered sashimi, a real favorite, and it was delightfully fresh. They offered me a soda or a treat, but I declined because of my diet. If you're ever in Fair Lawn, visit Poke Express. Truly exceptional people working there.

They also have a chocolate shop next door. When I walked inside of the bakery, I felt transported to a pastry shop in France. I visited on a Sunday afternoon and it was super busy. Service was quick and efficient. I ordered a latte and a scone. The scone was very delicious and fresh. My boyfriend ordered a frozen hot chocolate and a chocolate éclair. I tried a bit of the éclair and we both agreed that it was the star of the show. I normally am not a big éclair person but this one was so chocolatey and rich. It was filled with this creamy, fresh chocolate filling. I strongly dislike the store bought cream filling that they are usually piped with. We sat at one of the little tables on the sidewalk outside since the weather was nice. I will be back if I am in the area and in the mood for a sweet treat!

We snagged one as people were getting up. I got a napoleon and another dessert that was chocolate mouse with Carmel and a biscuit cookie on the bottom. It was soo good.
