Passionfruit Green Tea Mini Pearl Mango Milk
Eduardo C.

Gong Cha has an extensive menu with tons of creative freedom, which is great if you like to customize. My partner wanted something light and refreshing and went with the passion fruit tea. I tried the mini pearl mango to switch things up. The passion fruit tea was nice but didn't have enough substance for me. The mini pearl mango was very sweet--probably too sweet. I'd definitely ask for less sugar next time if that's an option. The place itself is small and strictly takeout only, so don't expect to hang out inside. Service was very pleasant and amicable. The staff was friendly and patient while we figured out our order. I'd come back to try more, just with some tweaks to the sweetness level.

Ordered a green tea with mango, super sweet which I didn't love and made me feel sick afterwards. As much as I wanted to love this, it wasn't my favorite. My friend thought hers was okay. Fun experience, but not for me.

Well this was a great surprise to find while searching for bubble tea in the area. And I didn't know that a Gong Cha had recently opened in Ridgewood. Gong Cha is one of my favorites bubble tea spots and I'm glad this is nearby as I usually venture to the location in Palisades Park. This location is located right in the center of Ridgewood Ave by the movie theater. Upon entering was welcomed by the employees behind the counter. They had their menu featured on TVs. They have such a great variety of teas, slushes, and series drinks. I love their brown sugar series drinks. I had ordered the brown sugar milk coffee with pudding and my sister had ordered the mango green tea with coconut jelly. Our order was made very quickly and made as we had requested. And it was one of those days I forgot to take a picture of my drink....oops but the drink was delicious. Just take my word haha I'm glad to have a Gong Cha nearby! The staff were great and patient...especially with our indecisiveness! There is plenty of street parking but depending on when you go it might be hard to find a spot. I will be back again for my bubble tea fix!

Take out only spot, no place to sit. All GC drinks are available to order. Drinks are made pretty fast. Taste is up to the GC standard. Bubbles are soft and chewy. Coconut jelly is sweet and crunchy.

Unlike other Gong Cha locations there isn't much space at this store location to sit and enjoy your bubble tea. It's very much a pick up and go type of store front. Of course the tea is great! They have a lot of different variety and options but I still stick to the classics. Staff is friendly and service is quick, parking is difficult but it's easy enough to briefly stop and pick up.

While I didn't get to see the beautiful ambiance and great service that comes to mind when many people think of Gong Cha (I DoorDashed) the Tea was incredible. Being your average picky eater, I mainly order Milk Tea at Boba shops, but this one was out of this world. Sweet, Yet flavorful, I could chug a gallon of the Tea itself. The boba, while loaded with it, was a nice touch, perfectly chewy. Overall, would order again

Newly opened Gong Cha at Ridgewood. Flavor is good and consistent. You can adjust the ice and sugar level. Always love to see another location of Gong Cha.

Gong Cha is one of my favorite bubble tea chains, and this location did not disappoint! For their grand opening, they had a BOGO deal, with an option of 5 different flavors (and the standard ability to customize sugar and ice levels). We got the classic milk tea with boba -- it was so good! I love their strong, authentic tea flavor (not artificial). Perfect on a hot summer day.

Brown Sugar Milk Tea ()

I've seen so many videos and different posts about Boba tea, I had to give it a try. I probably went with one of the most popular item, but I jazzed it up. I did a brown sugar milk tea with boba, pudding, and topped it with creme brûlée. Picture doesn't do it justice because I stirred the creme brûlée. Overall, I liked it, but it could never replace my daily coffee. I got a low level of sweetness, and it was overly sweet. Probably just my brown sugar order. Next time, I'd want something more like coffee. The boba balls were warm and chewy, probably the best part.

Happy to know that another Gong Cha opened up and is closer to my Fiancées. They have a vast selection of tea and ingredients to put in.

The wait for a bubble tea was more than 20 mins. You are making bubble teas and not cooking a gourmet meal!!!

They also have a chocolate shop next door. When I walked inside of the bakery, I felt transported to a pastry shop in France. I visited on a Sunday afternoon and it was super busy. Service was quick and efficient. I ordered a latte and a scone. The scone was very delicious and fresh. My boyfriend ordered a frozen hot chocolate and a chocolate éclair. I tried a bit of the éclair and we both agreed that it was the star of the show. I normally am not a big éclair person but this one was so chocolatey and rich. It was filled with this creamy, fresh chocolate filling. I strongly dislike the store bought cream filling that they are usually piped with. We sat at one of the little tables on the sidewalk outside since the weather was nice. I will be back if I am in the area and in the mood for a sweet treat!

We snagged one as people were getting up. I got a napoleon and another dessert that was chocolate mouse with Carmel and a biscuit cookie on the bottom. It was soo good. Really fluffy but also creamy and rich. Highly recommend this place if you love chocolate! I spent near $30 for a small hot chocolate, a cookie, pastry and mini cake. So it is expensive! But worth it once in a while. And they have a bathroom in the back!

What a great little ramen placed tucked-in Glen Rock!…read more Came on a Sunday afternoon and nobody was in the restaurant! It's not too big --- maybe sit 20-30pp. max. However, it was a comfortable setting. Food-wise, tried several dishes: the takoyaki ($10), the karaage ($9) as well as the Ika Furai ($10) for appetizers, along with the Kokoro Black Garlic Tonkatsu Ramen ($19.50). The appetizers all came out fairly quickly, and were nice and hot. Highlights were definitely the karaage and takoyaki (although I may have a bias to them). I though the Ika Furai (fried calamari) was going to be "pieces of tentacles, etc", it wasn't. It was the same calamari rings you can get anywhere, so I'd pass on that. However, let's talk about that Kokoro Black Garlic Tonkatsu Ramen. The ramen broth was rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. The toppings were great --- and the egg was a nice jammy consistency. The noodles were a good texture, and the soup was served nice and hot. That black garlic provided the right backdrop to such a wonderful rich ramen. Don't even get me started on the charred-tonkatsu. Such a beautiful meaty piece that was sitting on top of that bed of noodles. Totally recommend this. Pro-tip: ask for some spicy-oil on the side, then you get the best of both worlds - black garlic and spice. Overall, I totally recommend this place if you're looking to satisfy that ramen craving. You don't need to go to Paramus, or the Palisades, or even Ridgewood --- just go to this small business, you'll find big flavor!

The gyoza, spring rolls, and shrimp and vegetable tempura were all great sized appetizers for the price. I enjoyed the spring rolls and shrimp tempura best. The spicy miso ramen was good and I enjoyed how for to go there is a separate container that keeps the noodles and food out of the broth so it doesn't get soggy in the container Service was fantastic when ordering pick up. The inside area was clean with ample seating. The staff were extremely personable and friendly as well. Parking is hit or miss depending on the time you are in the downtown glen rock area.

We were a party of six, and service felt a bit disorganized at times. Some of the staff members don't speak English, so the cashier had to step in to assist, which I personally don't mind, but it did slow things down and affected efficiency. That said, the food was very good, and the tea was just as enjoyable. Everything we tried was flavorful and well prepared, and the ambiance was pleasant and welcoming. Despite the minor service hiccups with a larger group, I would definitely return, just with a smaller party next time. Great food and drinks make it worth another

We kicked things off with soups. I had the hot and sour and my wife went with the egg drop. Both were a perfect start to the meal, full of flavor, comforting and surprisingly filling. Next up were the dumplings and an order of wok fried noodles. The soup dumplings were delicious and packed with flavor although the dough was a bit on the thicker side and leaned slightly toward a pork bun texture. Still very enjoyable. The noodles were excellent with a great depth of flavor. Overall, a very solid experience. We will definitely be back soon because there are plenty more items on the menu that we want to try.
