Salem finally has a very conveniently located boba tea wagon!! I couldn't believe my luck when I spotted bobablastic's fire engine red wagon parked on Lancaster Drive directly across Wal-Mart! I took the whole family to out for some bobablastic boba teas and we got one each of the taro with honey boba, a coconut & vanilla creamy tea with coffee jellies, a delicious blended strawberry and mango with strawberry jellies. I didn't realize they had food too! We ordered one elote which is called a "corn stick", a chocolate dipped banana with sprinkles, and a chili-cheese corn dog. They also have chocolate dipped cheesecake on a stick and chocolate dipped strawberries!! Everything was very good although I would have liked more ice in our boba drinks but, overall, excellent drinks and yummy treats!

metal spring found in my boba

Ugh. I'm sad to be writing this review. I have been to other bobablastics and not had the best experience but I thought maybe a different location would have a better outcome. Unfortunately, here I am. I ordered a milk tea and a blended coffee with boba. The milk tea tasted how I imagine battery acid to taste like. Even more concerning, I found a metal spring in my blended coffee--which barely had any flavor in the first place. I feel bad for leaving a bad review but I feel like I have to, considering I almost swallowed a spring.

The design is quite fun-- all along the walls are mounted a number of fishbowl-type glass containers that hold plants. It makes the place feel very cozy and brings some life and color into the room. The person working at the counter was lovely. She was super enthusiastic, asked us questions about what we were doing, and provided recommendations for places to check out in the area. She made our drinks very fast-- I don't think we had to wait more than a couple of minutes. The drinks were very good. I got their lemon tea, and my partner got the sea salt cream tea. Mine was nice and sweet, his was not sweet at all (to both of our preferences). The one thing I didn't love is that their tapioca pearls were very soft. I like a little more chew to my boba, but I know that's personal preference. Overall, we had a great time and the customer service was excellent.

The cafe is absolutely lovely with a minimalist decor and plenty of lighting. We didn't stay too long as we had our fur babies with us so I went to order and pay while my boyfriend was holding onto the fur babies. The employee was friendly and professional. They had quite a bit of offerings both what you find at other places and some specialty ones. My boyfriend got their Brown Sugar Ube Bubble Milk Tea and I got their Tiki's Classic Tea. The drinks were made to perfection as it was refreshing and the right amount of sweetness. The drinks didn't take too long to receive, though they weren't too busy either.

I really enjoyed my ube coffee with sea salt foam and my partner enjoyed his fruit tea with grass jelly. It wasn't busy while we were there, but it looks like they get a fair number of Doordash/takeout orders. While seating is pretty available, there is foot traffic around the register and the barista is busy preparing drinks. The shop itself is clean and a nice place to hang out and enjoy your drink. If you're into collectables/trying your luck, there's also 16 Gashapon capsule vending machines near the counter. Overall, our drinks were tasty and we were happy with our visit. We will be back if we're in the area.

I ended up ordering the Ice Green Tea with no sugar, just plain tea and ice. I don't know if there's cross contamination, or just being super over brewed, but the Jasmine Tea ( the green tea they use) was very very tart. I lean more toward tea quality for my boba drinks, so if you're like me, I wouldn't recommend this place if my visit is representative of their brewing capabilities. It looks like they have plenty of really sweet Milk Tea options for those who lean more toward that area though.
