    Strawberry matcha green tea
    Jessica N.

This is a cute little boba shop that just opened about three months ago. It's conveniently located in downtown Milford next to a lot of other restaurants and a few little boutiques. The owner is very welcoming and friendly, and the drinks come out fast. They also offer a stamp card (10th drink free)! I got the strawberry matcha green tea with tapioca pearls and 50% sweetness. The drink was very delicious! The hints of strawberry blended well into the creamy matcha milk tea. I also appreciated the aromatic matcha flavor with every sip. Would definitely return!

Great new addition to the culinary world of downtown Milford! I had a nice chat with the staff there who shared their favorite teas and gave good advice about which to get based on my taste. She even let me try the Thai tea. I ended up with an old favorite, the Strawberry lemonade tea with boba pearls and it was tasty! The pearls melted iny mouth. They also gave me a complimentary macaroon! I'll definitely visit again as the ambiance was homey and friendly and everything was tasty!

Really loving this place! I've been trying just about every kind of bubble tea on the menu! I love that Boba Lounge has almond milk and oat milk in addition to regular milk. It really helps for people that are lactose intolerant and is appreciated! This is the best boba in the area by far. You will literally taste the difference in the tea. Everything is flavorful and not overwhelmingly sweet! There's some flavors you can only get here. I've been going almost every day! My personal favorite is matcha milk tea with oat milk and regular boba! Check it out!

"bubbles through the ice" (Phish)…read more You may have a hard time finding Cuckoo's Hawaiian Shave Ice. It's not a brick and mortar store, its more like a mini three-wheeled food truck parked in the rear lot of "It's Playtime" - an indoor kids' playground and playscape. We saw zero signs directing us to its location -we just kind of knew about it from a Facebook post. Cuckoo's is owned by It's Playtime and is open more or less the same hours they are (roughly from 9-5). Because the cart sometimes goes off premises to an event, it's worth your while to call before you scoot over. Cups of shaved ice are sold in 2 sizes for $4 or $5. There had a ton of flavors including Blue Vanilla, Grape, Lime, Mango, Cherry,Tigers Blood, Pickled Mango, Lemon, Blue Raspberry, Banana, Sour Apple, Blueberry, Cotton Candy, Pina Colada, Cola, Pink Lemonade, Guava Passion Fruit,Li Hing Mango, Strawberry, Passion Orange Guava, Blue Bubblegum, and Cake Batter. You can trick out your shaved ice with a Snow Cap (for an extra creamy sweet texture), or Fairy Dust (glitter), or candies for half a buck or so more. No review of Cuckoo's would be complete without a glowing report on the young lady running the stand. Isabelle was delightfully charming, informative, helpful, and as sweet as the shaved ice she served up. We ordered a snow-capped small banana and a snow-capped small blue vanilla They totaled $10.21. As our temperatures hit the 70's and 80's, why not check out Cuckoos to cool off?

Backyard setting with al covered picnic style benches and tables. The owner is super sweet and she's now joined by her daughter. They also have hot dogs on the menu. The only downside to this place is that the hours of operation are inconsistent. The owners said it's because she recently a promotion at her regular job and had to switch up her schedule. So sometimes we drive by when they're supposed to be open ,only to see a lock on the gate. It's a seasonal shop as it is so if closed on a hot summer day it can be a bit disappointing but I get the reason . Overall the season closes just around Thanksgiving. Cash only. If you're lucky to catch them open it's a refreshing flavor filled treat.

Although there were a lot of flavors listed, there weren't a lot that seemed interesting or appealing to me. I got the large (starts at $8), snow capped (condensed milk - they only drizzle a small amount), with vanilla ice cream on the bottom - half orange and vanilla syrup and other half passion fruit. This ended up being a little over $12! I would give it a 7/10 rating. Both flavors were just OK and I wouldn't get them again. I probably won't go again but it was good for the moment as I was craving something really cold. The service was quick and she was very helpful while being patient. They also have a rewards card where you buy 9 you get 1 free.

They shave a block of ice in a special machine, creating a very delicate , softly formed shaved ice, that is easy to eat, not like Italian ices, that you have to work hard to get out of the container. Lots of syrup flavors that the Server layers in the cup, so the flavor goes through the whole cup. I had black cherry and lemon/ lime, which I chose to layer together , rather than separately. Another person had the orange creamcicle, and someone else had the mango and coconut. All were delicious. The sizes are regular and large. The regular is $6, and it is huge . The large is $9 I think, not sure about that one. We got regular size. There is a children's size that is smaller, but also pretty large . Street parking, but I think there was a parking lot next door. Seating for z4 people total. Inside. I think on warm days, they may have some seating outside on sidewalk. I would def return. Also the server was especially nice and helpful!

Not only is the food awesome - I ordered a ramen, plain hot dog, and halo-halo shaved ice (addictively good) - but bonus stars to the staff who were sooo sweet! The Hawaiian style shaved ice and home-made ice cream are top notch. The ice cream is rich and delicious, with some unique flavors, and the shaved ice is very fine - fluffy and evenly slushy in texture and sweetness, unlike the inferior versions where you run into bland chips of ice. The toppings are yum too. The ramen noodles are springy, settled in a savory light broth. For a non-prestige grade ramen, I have no complaints. I also want to acknowledge the lovely hospitality. My child was in a tantrum-y mood and went to sulk by himself in a corner. Seeing the pouty little grump in a small fit, the girls at the counter coaxed him over with ice cream and stickers, which he of course eagerly accepted, pleased by the attention and confection, and was soon back to his endearing self. So I really appreciated their extra kindness! This is a fab joint for a quick-casual or just a perfect sweet treat!

"Blue like the winter snow in the full moon Black like the…read moresilhouettes of the trees Late blooming flowers lie frozen underneath the stars" (Natalie Merchant) Snoballs are the Louisiana cousin of snow cones and shaved ice, The ice is finely shaved to the point of being fluffy as a cloud, so the flavored syrup kind of diffuses into the ice instead of sinking like a rock to the bottom of the cone. Sno 'N Dough sells a slew of carnival or country fair foods, like sweet or savory fried dough, fried Oreos, Fried Cookie Dough, 22 flavors of Snoballs, cotton candy, churros, and popcorn. We chatted with Dylan, their super friendly counterperson who whipped us up an 8-oz banana Snoball ($2.99) and a Marinara Parmesan Fried Dough ($7.99). The banana Snoball was great -light and airy and fluffy as a cloud without the course hunks of ice you sometimes find in a traditional Snow Cone. The Marinara Fried Dough was terrific -we shared some for dinner (it re-heated beautifully) and the dough came out soft and just about perfect. The sauce and cheese were also excellent, and I have to say we really loved it. Dylan told me a funny story about a customer he served a week aqo, A woman was walking by his stand, and she stopped dead in her tracks, cried out "OMG you have Snoballs", and almost started weeping. Turns out she was a Louisiana native and hadn't seen them sold anywhere besides her home state. Needless to say she was thrilled. We were pretty happy with our visit too!
