This is your basic, run-of-the-mill boba place. Nothing fancy, just milk tea, coffee, and slushies. The service is rather quick though. If you need a table, there are plenty. This is a good place for a quick boba fix. read more

I like this place. It's open late, the boba is cheap and tasty and the place has plenty of seating space. The only thing I don't like is that it's usually full of high school kids being loud and annoying, but Boba Loca can't be blamed for that. lol. Boba Loca is usually a decent alternative when craving boba. The drinks were ok as usual, but the service was lacking. It seemed like they were a bit annoyed when i asked questions about boba alternatives (which they didn't have). I've been coming to this place for years and I don't recall ever having a bad experience. Yes the customer service isn't outstanding but to be honest, I don't care. I'm not there to have conversation or be friends with the staff I just want my drink, so as long as you're not rude, creepy, or spitting in my drink, I'm fine. And I've never had a bad drink here. I was always skeptical about Boba in general! this is one of the extremely few places I go to get boba, I get the Thai Tea with Boba and its around 3.25 for the small and 3.75 for the Large and they charge .25 cents for an extra scoop of Boba. That's all I hardly get because I LOVE Thai Tea. The place is usually chill here, they have outdoor seating, indoor seating, A computer (idk why lol) and A couch which is pretty awesome! I only come here once during the weekend because my boyfriend lives in Maywood so he brings me here. The tapioca balls here is actually pretty good. Not too soggy or hard its perfect, nice and chewy! And I'm glad they're open up to 9:30 for those damn evening craving I get there just in time to get some Boba to go! definitely love coming here! read more

I've given this place a chance probably about three times and I always regret it. When I have gotten boba, the boba is not chewy enough, seems like it's been sitting for a long time. As for the teas, they are way too sweet and taste somewhat powdery, not how milk tea is supposed to taste. Also their tea selection is very limited. I have been here before and have never had an issue until about 5 months ago. The girls seemed nice and friendly at first but once they messed up our order and I brought it up to their attention, they became so rude and didn't even want to bother with us. They just slid our pretzels and drinks on the table and didn't even come up to us and apologize. I know she knew that the order was wrong because of the way she ran back to the register to check but told the other girl, woops, oh well. the customer service here is the WORST. went last night around 9:15 - note: the posted closing hours outside the store say 9:30 - and the guy behind the counter said they were closed & wouldn't take my order...it was not 9:30 or even past 9:30. he continued on and was making smoothies for other customers and wouldn't take my order. the customer service here has always been really bad and there are hardly any workers in this store, and when there is, they don't greet, or even acknowledge you - they just take your order, no questions asked. you're better off just not coming here at all. read more
