Seasonal coffee caramel crunch - this has a very light coffee flavor and a really lovely toasted nutty taste to it that I really enjoyed. We got this one full sweet, which was 50%, and that was perfect, even for me who normally orders drinks at 0-25% sweet. Really nice crunchy bits throughout and nice whipped cream on top. I hope they keep this one around, as if get it again in a heartbeat. All drinks come with a free boba or jelly, but we opted not to with this one because the boba often harden in an ice blended drink and then you don't get to enjoy their lovely chewiness! Okinawa milk tea w black tea and boba - this had a really nice flavor, and the boba were delicious, soft and chewy. I might even ask for extra next time! I ordered it 25% sweet and it was just right for me. Service was very friendly, sweet and informative. The lovely lady at the counter gave us good recommendations and helped us make choices. The space was really comfortable with lots of couches and seating areas, and when we came it it was cutely decorated for Halloween. They also make enormous cookies, which we did not try.

My fingers fumbled on the touchscreen and I added in lychee jelly... Which I did not enjoy When I asked if it would be possible for them to remake my drink, the server asked her boss to make sure, and it was not a problem. Vivian was very cordial and helpful. She remade my drink 50% sweet, with only Boba. The shop is clean and very conveniently located across the street from Pasadena City College Parking isn't easy around here during high traffic times but that's LA for you. All in all I am always impressed when a. Establishment can work with the customer to help us find our preferred drink, vs deal with what you get, even if you hate it. I'll be back!

My daughter and I came on a Wednesday evening after visiting the excellent Dumpling Wei next door. We were welcomed into a busy, student-filled cafe. The decor is understated, worn, and very student driven, with a charming sign offering a free milk drink to any student who ordered a full meal during a challenging exam week - how kind [+1 point for service]. We ordered from a screen; call me old fashioned, but I like being greeted and the place wasn't busy enough to justify such a streamlined experience. We ordered the original waffle with vanilla ice cream. It took about 10 minutes as we entertained ourselves with the claw machine and got lucky - twice. The waffle was crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, with a distinct fortune-cookie flavor. It was delicious, and paired perfectly with the vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. We did not get a filling nor try the delectable appearing chocolate waffle - next time! Prices were elevated - $8 for the waffle and $2.50 for the ice cream (complete with whipped cream and chocolate syrup), but the unique product was absolutely delicious. While my undergraduate career was 20 years ago, I really can appreciate a place like this. Were I a student at PCC, I would simply live at this establishment. Good for a quick dessert and perfect for students, Bubble Puff & Tea is well worth a stop. Food: 4.5/5 Ambiance: 3.5/5 Service: 4/5 Value: 3.5/5

The ambiance wasn't quite what I was looking for. I had hoped to find a welcoming spot where my friend and I could enjoy our drinks and spend some time together, but the atmosphere didn't particularly stand out to me. I ordered the Fresh Avocado Bliss for over $8. It took a while to prepare, so I was hoping the drink would be worth the wait. Unfortunately, I found the flavor disappointing. The avocado didn't taste as fresh as I expected, and I could barely taste the mango. The overall flavor wasn't enjoyable for me. I don't mind paying more when the quality justifies the price. In this case, though, the drink didn't meet my expectations for its price point. A more balanced flavor and a fresher-tasting avocado base would have made a difference in my experience. I appreciate the effort that goes into running a business, and I hope this feedback is helpful. Unfortunately, the drink and atmosphere weren't a good fit for me, so I'm hesitant to return. Based on my experience, I'd personally skip the Fresh Avocado Bliss, though others may enjoy it more than I did.

Although it's a small shop, their menu is pretty extensive, and their specialty drinks come with a different type of cup. No seating inside, just a grab and go type shop. My partner and I ordered the BROWN SUGAR MATCHA LATTE and the DAY & NIGHT MILK TEA. Orders came out within 5 minutes so that was a nice sight to see. The drinks are definitely more aesthetic than anything. I was a bit disappointed with the matcha taste. It tasted a bit more watered down than matcha that I usually drink. The brown sugar adds a little flavor to it but that's about it. 6.5/10. The Day & Night MT was pretty similar, definitely a unique taste that I've never/rarely tried before. Charcoal taste with oolong tea, milk, and a bit of brown sugar is definitely a new taste for me. Not my cup of tea at the moment. The color mix is best for picture but give it a mix and the drink becomes full charcoal color. 5/10. I'd also say that their speciality drinks cups are pretty unique. I personally love the potion type gimmick although I'm not sure what the sizing of it is like compared to your standard cups. It's pretty sturdy and reusable as well. Overall, pretty indifferent about Jin Tea Shop. While my partner and I only tried their specialty drinks, we'll definitely come back another time to try their other milk teas. Staff were efficient, friendly, and informative, huge plus on that front.

The Build: The drink features a vibrant blend of citrusy yuzu and floral osmanthus tea, paired with their unique silk boba. The Service: The only real letdown was the service, the lady at the register was honestly kind of rude and not very welcoming, though maybe she was just having a bad day. The Verdict: While the service was pretty mid, the drink itself was a total home run. The flavors and unique boba are too good to pass up, so I will definitely be back just to grab that tea again and to try some of the other drinks on the menu!!
