When I arrived at 8 pm on a Sunday night and the line was about 8 cars deep, 4 in the driveway, and 4 on the street, so I opted to park and go inside where there was no line. I was met with no cashier because the same person working the orders on the drive-thru side is the same one servicing the inside window, not efficient. If you're in a rush, be prepared to wait - it took them 15 minutes to make my two drinks, that's longer than it does for me to get ready in the morning! But hey, good things come to those who wait, right? Their tea was actually pretty good after 50% reduction in sweetness (brown sugar milk tea and jasmine green milk tea). read more

This boba shop is the most consistent and the place we always head back to. The employees are always so nice and apologize for the wait even though we'll wait for these boba drinks any time. Quick, easy, not too sweet drinks. No fufu fancy drinks here. Menu is straight forward. ONLY DRIVE THRU. Hence the name "express." Even though there's a long line of cars sometimes we never had to wait more than 15 min. They also open late too until midnight which is a great late night dessert run. Hokkaido milk tea and the messy brown sugar are my favorites. Boba is fresh. If you want fruit, the strawberry yogurt blend is bomb. We've had their fried snacks also, I recommend their popcorn chicken. Don't waste your time going to any other boba place. I wanted to check out Boba Ave Express for a while, since it's rare to see a fast drive through boba store. Usually I would see a line of cars late at night with people trying to get their Boba fix. I got the chance to try them on Monday afternoon, there wasn't a line. Food: I got the kiwi grape jelly tea that's spring time limited addition drink. I didn't know what to expect of kiwi flavored but it was quite nice tangy with sweet flavor. Service : Boba came out quickly, and all you had to do was drive up to order, pay, and pick up out of your car window, which is very convenient. Ambiance: They had some outdoor seating next to the building, which was a small kitchen. I don't think I would use the seating, but having a drive-through Boba shop is great, and I think I'll come again sometime! read more

We stopped by on a weekday night because we were craving boba and saw this place had really good reviews. We ordered the strawberry mango green tea, Thai milk tea, popcorn chicken and French fries. The strawberry green tea was okay, it had pieces of mango and strawberry but both were bitter. The boba in both drinks was superb it wasn't hard like other places. Their boba itself is a good size and it is on the chewy side! Now for the food items we got both on the mild spice level and let me tell you for mild, the definitely had a kick! The biggest reason they do not get 4/5 stars is because their drive thru service takes an eternity. I understand they are busy, but why offer drive thru if it is going to take 30+ minutes. While you are waiting you get to see a pretty mural which makes it aesthetic, but they do need to work on making the drive thru faster! read more

I was in the neighborhood and I was in the mood for Boba so I looked up yelp and came across this location. I originally ordered the Thai milk tea. As I drove off, I took a sip and did not like it. It was just different and had a bitter taste. I went back and let them know that I did not like it and asked for a different drink. They had no problem making me a new drink and the gentleman recommended the brown sugar milk tea. The brown sugar milk tea is definitely way better and I would recommend it. In the past this place has been good but tonight it was awful. I ordered the jasmine green milk tea and it was overly sweet, like they had put double the amount of syrup they're supposed to. Also the Thai iced tea we got was in this paper cup instead of plastic, and when we asked why the drink was hot (because hot drinks usually come in these paper cups), they told us it was iced. When we drank the Thai iced tea it tasted weird like they probably made a hot drink by accident and decided to just put ice in it real quick. I have been a regular customer of this place, so I hate to leave negative reviews. Management team need to focus on training as there are wrong other made very often. Very disappointed and had to toss it as it is undrinkable. I ordered 50% sweet milk tea . Not only that it tastes like it is 50% more sugar with heavy creamer, there is no taste of tea in the drink. I went back here to give this place a second chance and everything was delivered to standard and beyond. I got the cheese foam uji matcha tea latte with honey boba this time and it was very good! Just a bit on the sweeter side. If I frequent this place, I'd definitely recommend the Hokkaido milk tea to start and the cheese foam if you want something more fancy. The cheese foam is very creamy and pairs well with the sweeter drink. The boba texture is still on point and it was not diminished despite mentioning that I had a bad experience the last time. I came here yesterday after dinner and I saw the pictures about this location having a drive thru and my friend and I knew we had to check it out! You order at the first window when you go through the drive-thru and they have the menus displayed on screens with all of their drinks and food. I got their brown sugar milk tea while my friend got the taro milk tea. After we paid, we went to the 2nd window where we waited for our drinks which only took about 5 minutes which was fast! We both enjoyed our drinks and I will say my brown sugar milk tea was fantastic. The boba tasted fresh and had good texture and the milk tea was not too sweet which I liked. You can your drinks adjusted while you order them. I am looking forward to coming back in the future to try their food and other drinks! Don't be fooled be the EXPRESS in their name! Go in if you want something here! Don't use the drive thru! The drive thru is not convenient! Literally, defeats the entire purpose. Saturday night review of the drive thru line. Was the 6th car in line. The average car wait time today is 5 minutes, so estimate the time before waiting in line. There is an order window and a pick up window. There's a wait to get to the pickup window. So people can't get to the order window. I'm not understanding how come it takes this long to make drinks. I've never waited this long for drinks before. Ordered the peach and passion fruit green tea with brown sugar boba half sweet and the Hokkaido Milk Tea. Weird. The guy literally says hi, hands the drink, then closes the window. Haha what customer service? Are these robots? Lackluster attention to detail. Boba straw for a topping less drink. Tastes ok.
