A small but cute spot for boba, snacks, and bowl ramen. Decided to check this place out over a weekend. It's cozy as a place to hang out! The owner is super nice, and they've been opened for just a few short months. I ordered a classic milk tea, and it was a solid choice.

I've been wanting to try one of those instant ramen spots where you cook it yourself and add whatever toppings you like. It's a pretty unique experience at a reasonable price. Not something I'd do all the time, but it's a cool concept--especially if you want to try instant ramen varieties you've never had before. The staff was super friendly, and they had a good selection of ramen to choose from. The toppings selection was decent, though nothing too crazy. We ended up getting a combo (10% off if you order a drink + ramen + toppings) and spent only $23 total for two ramens, a few toppings, and a drink. As for quality--well, it's exactly what you'd expect: instant ramen! The sides were pretty good, and the drink we had was tasty overall. I love the concept, and it's something fun to do every once in a while. It's not top-of-the-line food, but you get a unique experience while enjoying your favorite instant ramen flavors.

My favorite place to grab boba! You MUST try their ube sticky rice. They have so many fun ramen options. The ice cream is good too! Service is always friendly. We have monthly book club here!

At first we came to this plaza for a family dinner next door and we noticed a new place opened up with big bold words that say "BOBA". We decided to check it out after discussing as a group to maybe get a drink since we were going to wait for our dinner to arrive anyways. Upon entering the place it's very clean, bright and vibrant, adorable decor of chibi animals drinking boba, and organized set of packaged noodles with ramen cooking machines. I've never seen one before so it's my first time seeing one in person and they have 4 of them! I've heard some places on LA have shops like this but that's a bit far for me to try packaged ramen. They serve ramen of your choice at $6 and you have toppings to add as well. Since we came for drinks I ordered a milk tea with boba at half sweet, large. The drinks start at $5 and as you customize it, it'll itemize your customizations such as toppings or a size up. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, super helpful when we asked questions and they can also accommodate groups if you call them to plan ahead. They have seating tables of 2 chairs each and encourage people to come to study and enjoy a drink/ramen. They have a unisex restroom as well. Very casual and super fun place to try and will come back to use that ramen machine!

My lunch: Vietnamese coffee with boba and "Jin" mild flavored ramen with spam and American cheese
Monica M.

I found this place during my lunch break. My original intent was to go to another eatery nearby, but they were crowded and I was short on time. That said, I walked into this little place -- that, per others -- is new. The "vibe" is fresh, bright, clean yet inviting. What I appreciated is that it very much lends itself to taking selfies (very much, a thing these days) and will support their ability to self-promote. The drink menu was diverse, featuring milk teas, Vietnamese coffees, and smoothies with flavors such as ube, mango, and more. The owners were super supportive and friendly. Initially, I was only going to order a drink and go someplace else for food, BUT the novelty of the ramen bar drew me in. Not unlike Korean or Japanese mini-mart / snack stores, at Boba & Eats you can select your own ramen and cook it there using their handy hot water stations and heat tolerant paper bowls. Additionally, the owners have add-ins (i.e. spam, spouts, hard-boiled egg, American cheese, and others) that you can purchase to compliment your soup. For the first time, I caved into my curiosity about American cheese IN ramen -- I will not turn back! The melted cheese added a creamy dimension to the broth with no residue of "cheesiness" -- love, love! The price point was comfortable (I think my grand total for the drink and ramen was about $10). One miiiight say, "Why pay more for a ramen packet and hot water that you can "just" get at the market?" My response is you're paying for the novel experience of preparation and enjoyment.... I alllllllmost felt like I was in a k-pop rom com :) I appreciated the diverse ramen flavor offerings, styles and spice level. I wonder if there's a way that they can label the rows with: "spicy", "extra spicy", etc for ease of access? I imagine this business will attract local students in the area and this will be good for them once school starts. I will be back for another Vietnamese coffee in the near future -- it tasted great and gave me great energy!

Walked in for the first time today after countertop shopping in the area. Apparently this place just opened here and it did not disappoint!! It's like a snack cafe you see in kdramas. They have a station to cook your ramen with easy to follow instructions and lots of ramen choices. I had their strawberry matcha latte and peach tea with boba- super delicious and refreshing! We also had chicken wings which were hot and juicy and sticky mango rice. The service was friendly and quick! We met the owner who was friendly and staff were also very friendly and helpful. They play kpop in the background which gives it a chill but fun ambiance. Definitely coming back!

Cozy spot with afforable pricing & kind staff! Found this shop while running errand, super friendly owner and staff! I tried the mango green tea (less sweet), they include lime slices in fruit teas. I'm impressed by the tea flavor of this small shop, I dislike drying bitter tasting teas. Their cookies and sweets are a must-try Loved the ramen wall with tons of options! This visit brought back a wave of nostalgia for me. I used to work/manage at a boba shop in El Monte during my college years, and being here reminded me of the joy of helping a small family business grow. It's heartwarming to see that same passion and care in this place

Menu of ramen and it's toppings along with their drink options

Place just opened and we stopped by to give it a try. The place is cute, simple, and modern with incredibly friendly staff. They have a small seating area with some outlets available. The menu is simple, but all their drinks have been delicious. The smoothies are creamy and taste of fresh fruit, the strawberry matcha had delicious chunks of strawberries puree in it, and the coffee was the right amount of strong. They have multiple stations to cook instant noodles in along with a variety to choose from. They also have toppings ranging from $0.50 to $1.50. They also have multiple dessert options, like halo halo and brownies, that look amazing. They serve Fossilman's Ice Cream which is one of my local favorites!

The employees were very welcoming and helpful. It was very cool to make my own ramen. The owner was very helpful and welcoming to us despite being our first time. Inside was very clean and the ambience was very nice. BTW you get 10% off if you get a drink with your ramen!!! Come get your discount before it's gone.

Lumpia and fries! Bomb

This spot is so good! I tried their taro boba, spam musubi, lumpia and ube mango sticky rice. It was really good and tasty. The customer service is amazing too! They have this really cool diy Ramen section too. The vibe is really cool and cute too!

A place I wish existed back when I was i high school, cuz it's got all the craves. They have a good selection of drinks, but I found myself drawn to the Halo Halo (which was delicious). Overall a great place to chill out at.

Chapagetti and Buldak Carbonara

Our first time here, but as soon as we walked in we were greeted with warm, welcoming smiles and kindness. They helped explain how everything works and even helped with explaining the menu to us as well. The drinks we got along with the ramen we ate were amazing and excellent quality. Not only that, but everything inside is very clean and organized making this spot a perfect place to study and grab a quick bite. Would definitely come back to this place again just to chill and grab drinks. 10/10 experience.

The woman who took my order was friendly and the kitchen was quick! I had low expectations for the squid knowing it likely wouldn't travel well for take out, but when I got home both the flavor and texture were great. The ramen was also really good. The broth was creamy and noodles had the right cook. I liked the unique flavor flashes that made the soup exciting but not overpowering - hints of ginger and a sichuan-like spice. The noodles for me were just slightly too overcooked for my taste, but it wasn't a big deal. The tea egg was good with a just above jammy interior texture. The chashu was great though. It was very tender with no strange pork smell to it. It tasted fresh. I got the ramen with small rice bowl and salad combo. The rice bowl was alright as well. I got the pork cutlet and egg. I wanted the pork cutlet to be crispy, but the breading on the outside was soggy. The overall flavor was fine though. It had a braised, sweet soy sauce type of flavor to it. The salad was made of shredded cabbage and carrots with a creamy dressing on top that reminds me a lot of thousand island dressing. The slight bitterness from the raw cabbage paired well with the sweeter flavors of the dressing and the carrots. Service was okay.

I can't speak for them, but I will say, if you order the tsukemen and find that you want more dipping broth, that will be an extra charge. Order a regular bowl of ramen if you do not plan to dip the brothless noodles into the broth for each bite. BF and I both tried the spicy tuna bowl ($7.95), chashu bowl ($8.95), and tonkotsu ramen ($15.95). The bowls are a little smaller than the ramen bowls and are a great option if you want a light meal without feeling super full. The tonkotsu ramen had a slightly rich broth that was flavorful and a decent portion of noodles. We opted not to order the ramen with the egg since we were also trying the rice bowls. The three items were more than enough for the two of us and a good variety of food. Parking here is horrible at the street level, so head downstairs for the two levels of underground parking.

I placed my order through their website and ordered the original Nagoya Mazesoba non-spicy with poached egg (15.29). I selected the earliest pick up time and then headed to the restaurant a few minutes before. However, to my surprise, the staff told me that my order wasn't ready yet and would need another 10 to 15 minutes. This is already after the 15 minutes of the promised due time when I placed my order, so I had no choice but to wait outside the store. This made my experience annoying because now I waited a total 25 minutes for my food. They should not have put an asap ordering with a due time if their kitchen wouldn't be able to meet the time. It seemed to me that their kitchen forgot to cook my order until I arrived at the store and they noticed the order, because my order was ready 10 minutes after I arrived and waited outside. The only good thing is the staff was nice enough to bring out my food instead of letting me go inside to get it after the time they told me passed. This is why I had to drop a star in my review. As for the noodles, it is similar to my memory of how it tasted. The sauce is very flavorful and a bit greasy as you get to the last couple bites. But the portion is still a bit small and also the noodle texture seemed not as chewy and soft. It might be because it is takeout or the kitchen was in a rush to cook it. But overall it was just alright and not as good as I remembered. If I do come again, I will dine in to see if the noodles taste any better. Because of this, I definitely would just recommend dining in. Dining in also gets the free bowl of rice.
