This location seems to be very busy all the time. Every time I go here, the place is packed. The food is on par with every other Bob Evans, which is to say, consistent. Let me be pretty clear. I LOVE THIS PLACE. We have been coming here for over 2 years and we have never had any issues until today. My husband almost gets food poisoning from this establishment. He ordered his usual steak and eggs but this time the meat was pretty funky. Funky is actually a nice word for this. It was like rubbery wet and like it had gone bad but anyways cooked it. It tasted like a blood block boiled a d then out on the grill. Husband rarely ever has stomach issues but now he seems unable to hold any food in and has a fever. We left this place 2 hours a go and he has had it bad... please management at this location check on your meat or make sure things are cooked properly. This Bob Evans use to be where my husband could get the best Steak and Eggs of all the Bob Evans we've been to. Presentation looks great and cooked perfectly but the steaks are now very tough to the point that our dog has a hard time eating the pieces we give him as a treat. I can't blame the cook staff because they're doing everything right when it comes to the steaks so we can give a pass on complaining there. However, my breakfast of strawberry and banana oatmeal served with banana bread was a little to be desired. Again, presentation looked great but... They scooped up the skin from the oatmeal into the bowl on the bottom and don't know it until after you start eating...so you know it's been sitting there for quite awhile and the banana bread was under cooked and served it anyway. They had to know when they were slicing it because it was pushed down and deformed and sticky when you tried to pick it up with a fork/fingers. I don't know what happened, if it's under new management or supply chain quality issues but it's not our favorite place any more even after giving them three chances over a 4 month period before writing this review. They seem to do pretty well with most of the other breakfast choices but if you can't get oatmeal served up without being given several hours of cooked skin on top of old oatmeal you've got issues. There's a person who just doesn't want to be there and should find another job rather than take it out on the innocent customer who's just there to enjoy a meal without drama. No, I don't and didn't say anything because I don't send food back under any circumstances... that's when worse things can happen and it's not pretty after you leave. I ordered food for curbside pick up and it was taking so long That I had to go in to get it myself. Of course the food was cold must of been sitting for a while. The food didn't really have any taste. Especially the wet hash brown that didn't taste like anything. I ordered a banana nut bread and it wasn't in the bag I should checked before I left. Went in at 9:40 am. Was seated immediately. At 10 am, our waiter had been to every table in a radius around us, sometimes 3 times. I asked him several times if he could take our order, and he completely ignored me. I even told him I was having a diabetic crisis/low blood sugar attack, and could I please have an orange juice. In response? I or nothing, not even common courtesy. In twenty minutes, nobody could even take a drink order? Really? Nobody stopped by the table. Nobody made eye contact. They all completely ignore our table and visits the knees all around us. When we got up to leave, since if I didn't get something in my stomach, I was going to pass out,ma waitress was right at our table to sweep the menus off It, but didn't have the courtesy to even say a hello, or ask if we needed anything or why we were leaving. My visit today was the 1st time I've ever walked out of an establishment and not tipped the waitress. My daughter and I were out running errands on her day off of school. Since we were near Potomac Mills she asked if she could get the French toast kids meal at Bob Evans like she used to when she was little. We arrived at 1:10 on a Monday afternoon. The establishment was not busy, in fact the topic of conversation amongst the servers were the servers who had been recently cut. We were greeted quickly, drinks gotten, food ordered everything was great. My daughter and I ordered breakfast, no special requests. At 1:50 I walked out. From the dining room you can see the food window, and my food was just sitting there. At the time I walked out it had been 12 mins, just sitting in the window. The servers, hostess, everyone kept walking past it. Talking to each other, talking to customers at the bar seating area. When I asked the server for my check, she mentioned that my food was ready and she was bringing it now. I declined her offer, telling her that eggs sitting under a heat lamp for 12 mins aren't eggs I want to eat. I paid for check and walked out. I could understand if they were busy, but they all seemed more interested in chatting with each other instead of working. read more

Just a handful of creepy, mouthbreathing fellow diners and a cleaning staff who were passive-aggressively sweeping under our table as we ate close to closing time. The incredibly sweet manager took one of our entrees off the bill without even a complaint from us after the kitchen took 30 minutes to announce they were out of the first thing we had ordered. I would like to say the staff is not trained properly. Let's use the term zombies cause it's close to Halloween! I don't live in the area, I'm just passing through but the staff is clueless, unable to multitask on the front side. Fantastic Thanksgiving Meal for only 14.99 per person. We were able to choose Turkey Ham or Country Fried Steak first. We chose the turkey. Super moist with great flavors. Next we could choose sides and three come with the price. We chose macaroni and cheese Mashed potatoes w gravy and green beans w ham. I must say those green beans taste just like Nana's and she has passed away a few years back. I bit into those green beans and the emotion just swept me away. They also have carrots, corn, and coleslaw if you want those as sides. Now here is the part I went gaga for. You also get endless bread and you can mix or match. I had the rolls and pumpkin bread but you can also choose the biscuits which my husband had and loved them or you can also choose the banana nut bread. Then also included is slice of yummy pie. They have pumpkin pie and pumpkin supreme pie and double crust apple pie. Me and my husband went w strawberry pie and peanut butter cup pie. Amazingggggg. Did I also mention free refills on drinks. I will be making Bob Evan's my Thanksgiving Traditional dinner for now on. OMG please do Woodbridge a favor and close your doors! This place had been on a steady decline for years. The service always sucks, and it takes ages to get your food. My grandmother likes this place which is the only reason I would subject myself to such an abysmal place. Everything here takes bland to a whole new level so it is perfect for seniors. Today my grandmother went inside to eat, and same it took forever and service sucked. Then menu is worse than ever. They have literally nothing, and everything is way overpriced. My grandmother got a steak, and for her to complain it takes a whole lot, but she said it was awful. I tried the cod and am still gagging. The breading fell right off, and it was stringy and just off. The banana bread had mold on it, the gravy for the mashed potatoes was a congealed disgusting mess that looked like it was about to come alive. You could eat it with a fork. Worst of a was the mac and cheese. I loooove mac and cheese and love homemade baked mac and cheese, but am also perfectly happy with Kraft 90 second mac and cheese when I feel lazy. This was a disgrace to the name of mac and cheese. It tasted like wallpaper paste, and was sooo disgusting, I couldn't eat it. This is literally the second worst restaurant in all of Woodbridge! The only thing worst is Quickway. It would definitely make a top position in the 10 worst restaurants in all of NOVA. I went for breakfast today around 10 am. It was Sunday August 21, 2016. The place was packed and there was a waiting list. I ordered biscuits and gravy with sausage and a large drink. I ordered it to go since they were busy. The order came fast! I was amazed. The place was spotless and the service was excellent. The food was great and fresh. I paid about $11 dollars, so not too bad. I will definitely go back. Their biscuits and gravy were delicious. One important note. The to-go packing was great. There were napkins and plastic ware. It took forever for the waitress to take our drink order, we asked for water with lemon, never got the lemon. I asked for extra napkins 3 times and finally got them, I had to use the napkin around my silverware to wipe the table off because it wasn't clean when they sat us. We asked for the biskets to be brought out first with honey. The biskets weren't fresh and she forgot the honey. When she finally came back with the honey the bottle was almost empty. They brought out one meal and the salads for the other two. We were told they were still making the soup. My side of cooked carrots weren't fresh, they were all shriveled up, but the rest of my meal was good. When the soups finally came, one was all broth and the other didn't have hardly any broth. We were told they were short on staff. I also overheard the waitress telling the people next to us that she only makes $2.30 per hr. Nothing was done to make our experience better. Even though Bob Evans has been one of my family's favorite restaurants, we won't be going back. read more

Friendly staff that makes you feel at home. I love the fact that coffee drinkers get their own carafe of coffee, so no need to wait for refills. This is my official go-to-spot! I love their prices, portions and people! I always order the roast beef stroganoff as it's SOOOOOO good. I tried their chicken $ broccoli Alfredo and was disappointed so I'm giving 4 stars because they know how to properly cook the pot roast stroganoff and their french dressing is AWESOME. There's another Bob Evan's in the Bridge that I went to by accident....needless to say, I've set this particular location in my GPS to ensure that mistake never happens again. After not going to Bob Evans for more than 10 years this Sunday we though to give them a try . The staff was incredible friendly the food came fast even though they had a lot of guests . My pancakes I had ordered where so hard you could play freebee with them . After I mentioned the hard pancake they brought a fresh batch , however this time they were not cooked all the way ad it was like eating raw batter , discussing . The hash browns where not cooked all the way either and I never had to spit out food in a restaurant but today I just could not eat it . What a disappointment !! I placed an order through doordash. When the order arrived half of it was missing. I contacted doordash and they said they would issue a refund. I did not want a refund. I wanted the item I ordered so I reordered it. And paid full price. Doordash then send an email saying the missing items would be re-delivered. Ten minutes later doordash cancelled both orders because the restuarant was closed. I called Bob Evans and they said they were open and the reminder of my order had been left at the restuarant. The manager said he would make a new order and have it delievered. Never received. The dishonesty of Doordash and especially Bob Evans is appalling. The food today for Sunday brunch was delicious! Brandy was pleasant and attentive. I ordered a side of eggs with cheese. When they returned without cheese, she simply replaced them without me even asking. Also, the manager Kat went from table to table to ask about how we liked our service! This level of service is a rarity these days. She brought us to go boxes, a bag, silverware, and to go refills. Even shared some of her personal favs for dinner! Horrible, horrible, horrible!! I ordered thr breakfast burger (fried egg, melted cheese, spicy honey sauce). The burger was flavorless, the cheese wasn't and wouldn't melt so I requested melted cheese and received a square of american cheese that had been melted in the microwave. The fried egg yolks was hard and I had to ask for the spicy honey sauce (which was syrup and got sauce mixed which I couldn't eat because I'm not eating sugar.) The accompanying green beans were disgusting. My fruit and iced tea were tasty. The cook couldn't screw those up! My fiance's cod was deep fried grease. Several issues with our wait-staff and kitchen. Had to ask for coffee several times from the waitress. The orders were submitted improperly or the kitchen staff decided to not read the tickets. The waitress was generally inattentive. They put cheese in out lactose intolerant friends food, and looked discussed when we gave it back and asked for them to take it off the check. We ordered a hard boiled egg for our child. 25 minutes later were told "they don't make eggs to order" and that a hard boiled egg would take an additional 10 to 15 minutes to prepare. We declined and and accepted the cardboard scrambled sea-rations they called eggs. The manager on duty was nice and compensated us with $20 in Bob Evan's Money. In which I promptly gave it to our friend who is right now doubled over in pain. The manager, was a bit sheepish to correct the waitress and waited for me to ask for compensation. In any other place our meal would have been comped immediately and... I was not asking for compensation, just a decent breakfast with my family and friend before we move away. Either way, I paid our bill...no tip. So if you want a mediocre breakfast with box made scrambled eggs, and cold-stale coffee; this is an excellent place to come. read more

Its almost like they're not even running a restaurant but rather they're in some kind of weird jail cafeteria, yes the vibe is that bad. You'll be lucky to be spoken to or even seated if you go here.
