So glad I stopped here on 5/5/21 because it was something I've been wanting for so long! A good pancake breakfast! Came here right when they opened at 7am right after work. I already knew I wanted pancakes and so I got there new meal that comes with fresh strawberries, strawberry sauce, whipped cream and the usual suspects has browns, turkey sausage (I don't eat the swine) and scrambled with with cheese. Only had some water to drink because I had already stopped at Wawa for some coffee...lol. Breakfast was so good but I had gotten full after a few bites and took the rest home to eat later. So glad I stopped by and gave them another try. It's been a few years since I had but it won't be my last for sure!

Banana Berry Pancakes, home fries, scrambled eggs, bacon

I must have gotten here on a good day because my food was delish, fresh, and hot. I got the banana berry pancakes. They were soft and flavorful. My one gripe is that the berries were in the middle of the pancake, but still tasty.. (ok one more, they were stingy with the bananas too) (ok one more, the coffee was weak) BUT the bacon was crispy. Everything was tasty. Definitely coming back.

We had breakfast Sunday morning at Bob Evans on Smoketown Road in Woodbridge. It was nearly noon and we were happy to see that there was only a 5 minute wait. I know a review of Bob Evans is not ground breaking, but sometimes different locations of the same chain give different dining experiences. Such was not the case here. The reason we go to Bob Evans is consistency, in food and service. We started with coffee, as one might expect. My wife had hotcakes with Bacon, her usual order. There was 4 large hotcakes, and a good sized side of bacon. The bacon was cooked medium, and though we both prefer our bacon cooked within an inch of it's life, she enjoyed it. I had the Big Egg Breakfast, which is 3 eggs, meat and home fries. Instead of meat I got grits. It was a nice portion, and a hearty filling breakfast. The only thing I might say is that the coffee refill took a while. All in all, Bob Evans is always good, filling comfort food. We've been there many times, and will be back again.

Waited for over 20 minutes to be seated. There were many empty tables. Poor service.

Do U even have an EXPO on duty?! Do they check orders as they leave the kitchen?! I ordered a FAMILY SIZED Cesar salad and got a salad for 1! I ordered 2 dressings & got 1!!! I have photos of the salad! They are supposed to use the bigger round bowl for family sized salads! This rectangle bowl is much smaller. And, they didn't pack it nearly full of romaine! Much of the romaine that is in the bowl is discolored & bad! I am beyond dissatisfied. I'm angry. This is NOT even close for a $35 salad! We need more romaine & more dressing! I have stupidly spent far too much at this place. Corporate needs to get involved. Every time we order, the bag is way over packed -- ever think of using 2 or more bags?! -- and liquids are NEVER secured! I have experienced countless deliveries with soup, salad dressing & the oil for bread turned upside down, pouring out of the bottom & bottom side of the bags! My Uber driver even told them tonite to make sure the bag was assembled correctly. They added 4 staples at the top of the bag!!! How is that going to help my delivery?! Are U serious?! One of the managers, Alex, is nice. But, our deliveries are still arriving WRONG! He drove to deliver salad dressing once that was completely eliminated from my bag. We ordered the family size salads! And, I always order an extra bowl of dressing. Again tonite, I got just 1 bowl of dressing! Where's my second one?! And, where's the romaine?! The pricing is astronomical for these sloppy things to keep happening. Alex/other managers, U need to do 3 things: o Tell your staff to READ ORDERS before preparing them! (Why do they keep leaving out the 2 orders of salad dressing I order?! It happened again tonite.) o Tell your kitchen staff CONSISTENCY MATTERS! (Prepare decent sized portions & make sure portions are exactly the same per order!) NOTE: We got chicken & fries a few days ago & it was crazy! We ordered a bunch of them for the family. Two orders were acceptable -- they had a decent amount of chicken and fries. The other 3 orders were awful! There were barely any fries in them & the chicken was in tiny, little pieces. Another example, we ordered a focaccia loaf a couple days ago. It arrived warm & soft. Ordered 2 more tonite & it arrived cold and hard. What the frick is going on?! How hard is it for staff to execute their jobs professionally?! CONSISTENCY MATTERS! o Buy THICK CARDBOARD INSERTS to put in the bottom of delivery bags! I'm done having my soup, salad dressing & oil for bread leaking out of the bags! It gets all over the food items inside the bag, it gets on the Uber driver & in their cars. And, I'm out the proper amount of soup, salad dressing & oil that I ordered & paid for. Does any of this make sense?! If staff don't care -- it shows -- just close down the restaurant.

While we really enjoy all of the servers we've had at Mikes, Alicia takes the cake. If there's any way to provide her with recognition, I would highly vouch for it. I visited Mike's American after coming across it on Resy and was able to get a same-day reservation…read morefor two on Easter Sunday. As expected, it was busy, but the restaurant does have a fairly large parking lot which made arrival easier. The setup was interesting. After checking in downstairs, I was given a ticket and directed upstairs for seating. I took the elevator, which offered a clear view of the kitchen below as it ascended... definitely a unique touch. Upstairs, another host staff guided us to our table. The space had a lively feel, roaring with chatter from customers, and I could see parts of the kitchen where food was being prepared over an open flame, which added to the overall atmosphere. For the food, we started with the calamari. It was cooked well and had a nice texture, especially paired with the crispy onion shoestrings, which added a good crunch and flavor. It was served over a lobster sauce, although the lobster flavor wasn't very noticeable. The main issue was the salt level... it was quite heavy! I did enjoy it overall, but I would only recommend it to someone who doesn't have to watch their sodium intake. For entrées, I ordered the steak cooked medium with broccolini. The dish automatically comes with mashed potatoes, and while I was able to substitute the salad for broccolini, there didn't seem to be flexibility with the potatoes. After tasting the mashed potatoes, I wish I was offered to substitute it as it tasted like the brown box we grew up on where you just added water. When the food came out, the steak was closer to medium-well or well done rather than medium, and both the mashed potatoes and broccolini were a bit cold. I chose not to send it back since we waited but it did affect the overall experience. My guest ordered the ribs with fries and coleslaw. The ribs were well-prepared--tender with a clean pull off the bone--and were probably the highlight of the meal. The fries were also very good and came out hot. The coleslaw wasn't as well received, described as having too many of the tougher parts of the cabbage. Overall, the experience had some positives, especially in terms of atmosphere and certain menu items like the ribs and fries. While I did enjoy parts of the meal, it's not somewhere I would personally return to, but it may be worth trying once to form your own opinion.

They didn't have the sauce for the lamb chops, and I wanted mac and cheese without bacon but they didn't have that option. But the food we did get was really good. The lamb chops were good, this was my sister's first time trying them and she loved them. The spinach dip with pita bread was good, and the complimentary bread and mashed potatoes were good too. Our server was wonderful, but the manager, Joy, was truly an angel sent at the perfect time. Not only did she remember our family from a previous visit, but after we explained that our son is autistic and was struggling in the moment, she immediately went to the back and returned with markers, paper, gemstone stickers, a timer, and more -- almost like she was fully prepared for children with sensory needs. I honestly can't express how much that meant to us. Her timing couldn't have been better, and we will forever be grateful for her kindness and compassion. On top of that, when my food came out, my steak wasn't cooked the way I requested. I honestly wasn't even planning to say anything, but Joy noticed I wasn't eating it and asked how I had ordered it cooked. When I explained, she kindly offered to remove it from the check.
