Not the best run Bob Evans. Hostess took forever to greet us. Once we were seated, our server was prompt and attentive. Our breakfasts were good except the hash browns were barely cooked. Maybe all the other components were ready, so the cook rushed the potatoes! When it came time to pay for the meal, the same hostess had a backup at the register for lack of one dollar bills; she disappeared to the back to get some with a line of people waiting to be seated and pay. The restaurants serve an all-day "farmhouse" breakfast (e.g., oatmeal, French toast, and omelettes) as well as lunch and dinner foods (e.g., salads, sandwiches, chicken, and pot roast) later in the day. Please see my attached photos for the menu in January 2024. My husband and I ate one breakfast here. Near the entrance, the seating hostess immediately greeted us and walked us to a clean and large table. Soon our smiley waitress introduced herself, gave us menus, and took our order. We appreciate that she checked in with us throughout the meal and that she promptly brought our check. Please note that customers must pay at the cash register, not at the table. Here are my husband's and my reviews for our foods: Double-blueberry hotcakes - 5 stars - A few very large pancakes filled up the plate and were topped with blueberries, blueberry sauce, powdered sugar, and whipped cream. The serving size was so large that I could eat only half. For my side, I chose bacon, and it was crispy and satisfyingly fatty. Three-meat and cheese omelette - 4 stars - My husband ate this omelette. he said that it tasted good but that it contained too many onions. If you want to be ignored by all means this is the place. After being seated waited for some one to take our drink order but no one came. Waitress walked by and took care of other tables around us but didn't even look out way. If I wrote this review prior to this month, it would have been a better one. This Bob Evans used to have good food and good service. Now...well it still has one of those. I recently came here with a group for dinner. We had called ahead about our party size and the time we'd arrive, but it was immediately obvious that our information was not provided to the people working that night. Also while waiting to be seated the hostess warned us that Bob Evans was short staffed and nothing in the kitchen had been prepped for dinner. (Disclaimer that I would have found a new place to eat if I was on my own, but as a guest in a larger party I just sat back and focused on having fun with my friends.) After waiting over an hour to be seated (yup, an hour!), we were brought to a back room that had not been fully set up for our group after being cleaned. We didn't actually notice this until appetizers began arriving, at which point we realized we had no silverware. It was also about another hour after being seated before we began receiving that first round of food (appetizers, biscuits, salads, etc.). During this "first wave" I had to remind the waitress that my meal order included biscuits. I'm not 100% sure where the breakdown on that happened, but seeing as the waitress had no idea I'd ordered biscuits at all...I don't think it was the kitchen that dropped the ball. Fortunately my main course itself was very tasty, although it also arrived after everyone else's food; so by the time I began eating it, other people were wrapping up their meals. Also, we eventually realized after talking to one of the kids in the group that the restaurant messed up her order; of course by then it was too late to do anything since the kiddo had eaten most of the meal. Honestly, given how the rest of the night went, I'm surprised more mistakes weren't made regarding orders. We finally left Bob Evans three hours after first arriving. Truly a disappointment, especially since service here was good and quick as recently as July. But based on the discussions I've had with folks since this dinner, our experience is the new normal, especially if you come here after the breakfast shift. Purchased 2 turkey dinners Nov 26, 2025. Very disappointed. The turkey and ham were so dried out it seems like they had set out for hours. No gravy on anything. I will not be purchasing anything from them again. The only thing good was the pumpkin pie. Usually the rolls are good but these ones were so small...two bites and they were gone. Our experience here was positive! I came with my baby who I had sitting/standing on the booth seat beside me but the do have high chairs available. I didn't catch our server's name but she was nice and gave us exactly what we ordered. I had the French toast and an apple/pomegranate juice that was really good! I could've shared a meal with my son but I decided to just order him his own meal, which were the berry pancakes on the kid's menu. It was honestly (more than) enough for me to eat myself, but the price of about $4.29 for that plus a juice was great. I've been craving breakfast food in the worst way! Bob Evan's is just such a staple. Yes, it's a chain.. but the food is good! I love that the menu is always seasonally changing as well. The last time we came to Bob Evans on a weekend morning we had a very long wait, and on a weeknight we were 1/3 tables in the entire restaurant. Always a staple for great food, especially breakfast. They have a new dish, the Everything Breakfast, consists of Hash Browns, covered by cheesy scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and ham. This was delicious, all my faves in one bowl. It comes with chopped tomatoes, but I left them off, personal taste. It comes with a, kind of a pita pocket for bread, it was ok, next time I'll go with toast, but everything else was great, I'll get this again. read more

I don't think you can ever go wrong with Bob Evans for breakfast. A great family friendly atmosphere, good prices, and friendly service. My way had the ham benedict. She said it was delicious. Her only complaint was the ham was a little salty. My son had the double chocolate chip pancakes. They didn't disappoint. Not only chocolate chips in and on the pancakes but chocolate sauce as well. To top it off whipped cream. I had the western omelet with hashbrowns and biscuits. The omelet was cooked to perfection. The hashbrowns were crispy and not over cooked. I just walked out. We had a group of 5. Our waitress was setting up the table behind us for a bigger group. I prefer not to be around children, my bad, and a highchair was placed at the table and directly behind me. I made a comment that I prefer not to sit by children as most parents don't parent. The waitress got mad and spouted off how dare I say such a thing. Proceeded to take all the silverware off the table and put it on another table close by ,but not as close. She was very mad. My friend commented on look, she's moving them. (they weren't there yet) the waitress sternly told me that the group was friends and family of hers and the children were her nieces. She was extremely nasty. So I walked out. No biggie. Last night at Longhorn I left a glowing website report about Luke the best waiter ever. And left a big tip. Not this lady. Slowest takeout service in the world. Had to wait a very long time for takeout order. I don't recommend this location.

So we thought we would support local restaurant and buy a family meal for take out during COVID-19. We ordered the turkey dinner with all the Fixin's; trouble is we didn't get all the Fixin's, they didn't include 6 rolls. There were two salads so I think someone wasn't paying attention, someone else ordering takeout is going to get 12 rolls. The worst of it was when we called to let them know about it they were non-apologetic. That's bad customer service. If you order takeout, check the bag. read more

It's hard to find an actual Problem with this restaurant without nitpicking. Sure, they have their bad days, but it's hard to find a friendlier staff in Washington, and you won't find a more attentive one. Food is also on the better side for a "Family" restaurant, you just have to take into consideration that the elderly comprise a large part of their customer base, so meats are generally cooked longer unless you specify otherwise. If cleanliness is your thing, this place has plenty of that also. If a staff member has free time, the first priority is making sure their assigned areas are properly cleaned. In summary, if you expect $50 a plate service and facilities, don't stop here. If you want a friendly, pleasurable dining experience, give it a try and don't be afraid to tell them how you like your food to be prepared. read more
