I hadn't been in about 8months, I decided to stop in for lunch while shopping (June 2026) There's now a hostess... you are seated and order through a waitress at the table. The service was good and the atmosphere was good great lunch time crowd. The food has seemed to take a bit of a hit during the change. I ordered the Nordstrom Beyond Burger which used to be amazing. I received my beyond burger and noticed that they no longer serve it with lettuce and tomato. The burger just had cheese, pickles and the sauce, it looked very plain. The way that it was cooked seems to be different as well. I received a handful of fries with my order, not many long fries, mostly short fries. I may have gotten the end of the bag... This used to be a 5 star Gem, now I would rate it 3.5 stars After your meal you pay at the table with your waitress using a hand held device. It's still worth a try, so I would recommend it for newbies if you're a long time customer you might notice a difference.

There was a small pitcher of sauce for the meat (and you'd be forgiven for using the cornbread to sop up a bit), which was thick and smoky. Deciding against sending it back, I gingerly bit into the better cooked edge - it was delicious, with surprisingly light turkey sausage scattered about in the right amount. The center of the frittata was slightly undercooked, but not too bad, and was dispatched as quickly as the rest. The check arrived right away, but they left me alone while I poured and savored another cup of coffee, and when I was leaving, the server brought me a to-go cup so I could take some more coffee with me! I expected a refill. But that never happened and I was ignored all night as was the table next to me. When I sat down, the bartender was very flustered. A group was trying to get to an event and she was struggling with the check. She was then in tears and I am not sure where she disappeared the rest of the night. That should have been my red flag to go elsewhere. I knew this was going to be a meh meal from the moment my order was taken, I went with the 6 ounce filet medallions and asked for a baked potato instead of mashed potatoes. It is spelled as "medaillons" on their menu. Check the website if you don't believe me. The typo should have been a sign to order something else. It was to come with up to three gourmet toppings, I wasn't asked if I wanted those or even how I wanted the meat cooked. I was never brought any complimentary bread like was given to the tables near me. My food came out fairly fast, the quality is what you'd expect of a lower level chain. I wasn't served filet mignon. The other tv was not a good view like that one was. I asked another employee later and she attempted to fix it but didn't seem to know how to connect it. I think it just had to be turned back on as it seemed the timer shut it off. I patiently waited for over 30 minutes for my check. Service here is a hot mess. I was tempted to just walk out as they had forgotten about me. The restaurant seemed to have plenty of staff and was not busy. But they failed to refill my iced tea, check on my table or other tables. I did complain about my 30 minute wait for the check so was given 10% off. But that isn't enough to get a return visit. I left a minimal tip, because service was non-existent. The small discount didn't make up for being ignored all night, no drink refill when my glass was empty, not bringing the complimentary bread and the delay in receiving my check. I do hope the employees receive better training so they can learn how to properly service their tables and multitask. The food is consistently high quality, made to order, generously portioned, and offered at an excellent price point. Equally impressive is the service--the staff consistently makes guests feel welcomed, appreciated, and valued. On this particular visit, however, I experienced an issue with my meal. I ordered the Butterfish, one of my favorite dishes, but unfortunately, it arrived cold. I brought the matter to the attention of our server, Mo, who immediately took action to resolve the situation. What happened next is the real reason I am writing this review. The Culinary Manager, Mr. Thomas Johnson, personally delivered the corrected meal to our table and offered a genuine and sincere apology. He explained that he takes full responsibility for the quality of the food served in his restaurant and acknowledged that my meal should never have been served that way. He also assured us that it would not happen again. What impressed me most was Mr. Johnson's willingness to take complete ownership of the situation. He could have simply allowed our server to return the corrected dish with an apology and considered the matter resolved. Instead, he personally came to our table, addressed the issue, apologized, and ensured that we were completely satisfied. He also graciously removed the dish from our bill and provided us with a coupon for a complimentary appetizer on our next visit. WOW! The purpose of this review is not to highlight a mistake--mistakes happen in every restaurant and every business. What distinguishes an exceptional organization is how its leaders respond when something goes wrong. Mr. Johnson's response was an outstanding example of leadership, accountability, service recovery, and genuine customer care. Mr. Johnson did not make excuses, shift responsibility, or leave the situation for someone else to handle. He owned it, corrected it, and went above and beyond to restore our confidence and ensure our satisfaction. That is leadership. Mr. Johnson exemplifies the level of customer service, professionalism, accountability, and compassion that is too often missing in today's service industry. I was already a loyal Bonefish Grill customer; after this experience, I am a lifelong customer! She gruffly asked what we wanted to drink and when I asked for sparkling water with lemon, she made a "are you freaking serious?" face. When I explained I just wanted fountain sparkling water nothing fancy she cut me off mid sentence and was like "yeah I know I know," and then looked at my boyfriend for his order. Never once did she ask what we were having or what we wanted, she just stared at us expectantly. I've gotten better customer service at MCDONALDS during the lunch rush!!! We ordered the bang bang shrimp. I went to open my silverware and my napkin and silverware were covered with damp pieces of lint. My appetizer plate was DIRTY. The silverware had a noticeable disgusting mildew-y dirty dishwasher scent that made the food much less palatable. We grabbed two other place settings from another table and found that the conditions of the silverware and plates were the same, so I used my water glass and napkin to clean the plate myself and ate off of it.
