I ordered a hamburger with bacon and egg and a slice of onion with the hash browns on the side and a side of green beans with ham. The green beans were canned. The slice if onion was a few onion strips. The burger was a hockey puck. When the waitress asked if everything was OK, i told her it was a hockey puck. She brought new one. Not much better but edible. That took a half hour. Thank God for the eggs, because they were edible. My dog enjoyed the 2 burgers once I scraped off the onions and the hash browns. Never going back. Everything was frozen. My friends fried chicken included along with her powdered mashed potatoes. Bad food. Bad service. Certainly not worth $16.10. ​ read more

Very disappointing ordered soup less than half of the container and Cold. Cranberry salad totally discussing the chicken Hard, very little salad and nuts and cranberries. WHENhad to wait in curbside pick for 17 minutes they did Not have it ready and I was 7 minutes late. NO longer will I support this Canfield restaurant. read more

I have always supported and been a proponent of Bob Evans with the changing eating environments, but after dealing with a few missed and forgotten items in my previous meals, THIS takes the cake (no pun intended) as I will never eat at the Boardman, OH location again. Once again, I ordered take-out for my family. This time I ordered the honey chicken for myself and they forgot to include the rolls. Okay...no big deal as it wasn't worth the trip back to get them. When I bit into the chicken, it was rubbery and NOT cooked at all. Completely pink in the middle! Needless to say I took the chicken back to the restaurant. They did refund that meal and apologize BUT, there is no excuse for uncooked chicken. Whoever the cook was there at the time shouldn't even have a job. This is restaurant #3 this morning. We walked out of the first 2 then we get to this cesspool. FULL DISCLOSURE, I DID NOT EAT HERE however my wife did.. Out of 30 or so tables, MAYBE 15 were occupied. We're seated and the table has sticky substances all over it. I proceed to wipe the table down with a bleach wipe which my wife carrys in her purse. The bleach wipe TURNS BROWN from the dirt on the table What is it with these places? Seems like NO ONE wants to clean the tables! A customer should NOT have to clean the table he/she has been seated. I advised the manager of the filth and how disgusted we are. I also showed her the 1 star and this review. Didn't phase her in the least. That tells me how this cesspool is managed... The Arnold Palmer tastes like ass. I won't ever eat here. I came in with no money got an Arnold Palmer and wanted to leave immediately.

Just waited over fifty minutes to get seated. Finally left.... terrible hostess. Absolutely no regard for how long we waited. Management should be prepared for busy holiday weekends. Went in around mid afternoon and we placed simple orders and it took over 1 1/2 to be served. People who sat down after us got their orders before ours and when our food finally came out it was cold and the wrong order. The server didn't take anything off our bill and just said sorry. read more

The service was decent. Our food was ready and sitting on warmer in sight for over five minutes before it was brought to our table. I had an omelette, the veggies were undercooked and the omelette was bland. The sausage in my husbands breakfast was overdone. I hope this only occurred because they were so busy. read more

Fantastic breakfast today. My husband has celiac and they were very conscious of it when he was ordering. The food was all fantastic and our server was very attentive and friendly. But what made me write the review was when the host (I think his name was Lawrence?) gave the daily announcements and then invited the guests to join in on the Pledge of Allegiance, and without exception, the ENTIRE restaurant stood turned to the flag placed their hands on their hearts and recited the pledge with him. It was very moving for both of us. Thank you for such an amazing breakfast experience!!! read more

I love Bob Evans and I want to continue doing so. Therefore I am writing this honest review in hopes that it is seen by someone who cares about how this store is doing. Not well my friend, not well. This is not a one time bad experience. This is multiple ( I know shame on me) ridiculous experiences. Complaining directly to the manager has resulted in nothing positive occurring. Check and recheck your online pick up orders. Never...not once has it been completely correct. Open the containers and look at the actual food. You can order a wildfire chicken salad and it may have wildfire sauce, it may have chicken and it may not. They rarely provide the correct dressing. Just do yourself a favor and don't drive away without digging through every bit of your bag. I always forgive and forget and they let me down again and again. I personally won't be returning. After spending $20.00 for two salads all I want is for them to have the ingredients the menu says they have. read more

My family and I have eaten at Bob Evans restaurant for a while. Going to the restaurant was always pleasant for breakfast and lunch. We decided to use the online service for dinner last weekend. We ordered for our family -- 6 people. My father and husband went to pick the meals up. They got home and we were missing two meals. I called them and spoke to Michele first who hung up on me. And, then Sylvia. I explained the situation and Sylvia asked if I wanted to pick up the 2 meals or if I'd rather have coupons mailed to me. Really? My father and husband went back and had to wait a while to get the two meals. The restaurant is about 20 minutes from our home. They didn't apologize or give us anything to compensate. I think they may under new management. Anyway, check all the bags if you order from there. Food was okay but not spectacular like it's been in the past. And, with the two missing meals my family couldn't all eat at the same time around the table. read more

This store does NOT honor or accept military discounts of any type, despite the regional Bob Evans advertising that says they do. Counter clerk was very clear and specific on NO discounts accepted. Meal was adequate, service was ok, probably due to only a few people in the restaurant at 3pm on a Saturday. Employees seemed somewhat dispirited. Did not see or notice anyone who appeared to be a manager around during the 45 minutes we spent there. read more
