This is such a wonderful restaurant! So beautiful and tucked away in north Mesa. This is the perfect time to utilize the patio. Me and my friend ordered the burrata appetizer the dinner special spaghetti and scallops, the octopus, and the dinner special chicken. Everything was so good and fresh. I love the farm to table concept and sourcing with local vendors. This is truly such a lovely meal, so glad to have finally tried this place.

I can't say enough good things about this place. An exceptional menu that changes seasonally. Very fresh and creative. We tried a couple appetizers and 3 entrees, and a couple sides and everything was spectacular. As far as service they are top notch here as well. Great service at the bar and our waiter was as good as the get. Couldn't be happier with the experience. Lastly, the ambiance is perfect for date night. Seating both inside and on an amazing patio area. This is a new go to restaurant for us.

Yes, yes, a thousand times yes!! We live this place, which is probably the nicest restaurant in Mesa. There is patio seating in front like with string lights. There are fire tables surrounded by sofas for cooler weather. Inside is lovely, with a bar, tables and banqettes, and lounging area with velvet upholstered chairs. The servers here are professional and attentive, but also warm and friendly. The menu changes often, has this common with most Chef driven restaurants. I have never had anything but fantastic food here. This evening we were treated to Champagne, then ordered a BB Martini and a small bottle of Vietta Moscato d'Asti, my favorite. We started with the Rustic Tomato Braised Meatballs, served with particular and grilled bread. It was absolutely delicious. Hubby ended up ordering a sausage rigatoni which was on the specials menu. I got the Duric Pork Chop with bacon polenta abd peperonata. It was amazing!!! We were too full for dessert, but we've had dessert here before and it is amazing. The salted caramel bar and the flourless chocolate cake are to die for. This is the perfect date night spot in Mesa. We will continue to come back again and again because it is one of our absolute favorite places.

Octopus was amazing, ricotta ravioli were incredible'

Been coming here for years. The menu changes seasonally, but especially in this part of town, B&B is consistently excellent. I always appreciate the care and attention that is given to both the menu and the customers. Ambiance is also excellent.

We are in town for a work trip and this place was nearby and we wanted to check it out. They had great menu items as well as some off menu choices. I opted for the simple salad and the soup of the day which was creamy mushroom. The soup was so creamy and so good. The simple salad was ok but maybe not 10 dollars ok. In hindsight maybe trying the pear salad would have been the better choice. Either way the service was great. The restaurant was super clean and offered indoor and outdoor seating. Great cocktail and wine selection. Definitely need to check it out if you are this way.

What a lovely place! I have been in mesa for ages and somehow i have missed this wonderful restaurant. Everything was excellent!! Customer service, drinks and lunch menu was outstanding! We will be returning more often now since we are barely at 5 minutes away. We want to come for the dinner next time.

It truly is a beautiful atmosphere starting from moment you pull into the parking lot. The staff were very attentive and great personality. The food is delicious made daily using fresh ingredients. I loved the blood orange mimosas. You definitely want to visit and try this place.

You can only book two weeks in advance online?

Do you recommend / do they take reservations for social hr?

I believe so.

Do they have a kids menu?

No, they don't have a specific kids menu. But a couple of their shared plates might be ok for kids depending on the age. It's more of an adult place, though.

Do you use MSG (aka yeast extract) in your dishes or any vendor products that contain MSG or yeast extract?

No, we do not.

Are dogs allowed on the patio?

Yes they are!

The pancakes with bacon cooked right into them were such a fun twist and tasted amazing. The green chili bowl had great flavor with a nice kick, but it wasn't overly spicy. I added bacon to mine and it was really good. But honestly, the star of the show was the side of apple butter. It was so delicious it almost tasted like dessert! If you haven't tried their new breakfast yet, it's definitely worth checking out! The prices are really affordable too.

We made reservations at Pizzicata in anticipation of both Valentine's Day and the need to re-carb after the event. We arrived at the host stand a few minutes before our reservation, but were told that there were no indoor tables available. If we wanted to be seated immediately, we'd have to accept an outdoor table, even though we had a reservation for indoor seating. We opted to wait because the weather was chilly by Arizona standards, and we were still recovering from the race. A couple of minutes later, another hostess approached us and asked whether we had reservations and were waiting. When we confirmed, she immediately left to find us a table, and we were seated very shortly afterwards. I thought very little of this until the owner came to our table and apologized for the issue. He was kind and sincere in his regret for the situation and was excited to tell us about the staff and the food. We were wildly appreciative of this attention to detail and service! We shared the potato croquettes, and they were everything I was hoping they'd be and more. (Light lore: I chose Pizzicata because I saw a picture of these croquettes on their online menu.) For dinner, my husband had the Travolta pizza, and I had the gnocchi gorgonzola. We both did that thing where we sat back in our chairs, breathed deeply, and declared, "oh dang, that's goooood." We were both so happy with our choices - I can't speak to the pizza, but that was some of the best gnocchi I've ever had. Pillowy soft in this perfectly nutty, cheesy, creamy sauce. *chef's kiss* For dessert, we shared the tiramisu, which was perfect in every way. If we weren't already walking funny because of the race, we'd have still waddled out of Pizzicata from happy fullness. The service, the food, the vibe - we're here for it and we'll be back the next time we're in Mesa.

Much to our dismay, the restaurant was closed to focus on catering. Luckily, though, It reopens for pop-ups. This morning I saw an Instagram post announcing that there would be a brunch pop up today, so we got up and got ready to go. It really is tucked away in the corner of plaza and goodbye Safeway. Inside is a small dining room with a bar, and through the rolling doors is a patio with outdoor seating. You can see the kitchen through the plexiglass divider, and there is bar seating along the divider so you can watch the cooking. There's a great, colorful mural on one wall and some fun lighting fixtures and art. Today's pop up was packed when we arrived. We grabbed the last two chairs which were on the bar overlooking the kitchen. The menu had seven choices. Of course we ordered two different things so we could share, but we skipped cocktails. We ordered: *Steak chilaquiles Christmas style (both red and green chile) served with a side of beans and talked with an egg *Green chili pork hash served with a side of beans talked with an egg Both were delicious! We both ordered scrambled eggs, and I'm pretty sure it was more than an egg. I'm not sure how they cook those eggs but they were the best ever. The pinto beans had green chili in it and was so good. I'm from New Mexico, and these tasted like the beans that you rarely find outside of New Mexico. The steak on my chilaquiles was really good - - thin sliced and tender. I was able to easily cut it with just a butter knife. The pork in the hash was so yummy. What are scrumptious brunch! It was nice to sit overlooking the kitchen, as it was quite a show to watch the chef. I was amazed at how over easy eggs were tossed and caught in the pan without the yolks breaking. Heck, I can't even flip eggs with a spatula without breaking the yolk! Anytime I've overlooked a chef cooking, I'm totally in awe of their amazing skills, and this was no different. I really recommend Tucked Away, just as I did when it was a regular restaurant. Follow them on Instagram to be alerted to pop ups. You won't regret it!

The queso was rich without being too heavy, and the mustard added a nice contrast. For my meal, I had the Caesar salad topped with a bistro steak cooked a perfect medium rare. The romaine was crisp, the garlic-anchovy dressing bold, and the garlic croutons and parmesan tied everything together. The steak was tender, flavorful, and elevated the salad. At the table, we also ordered the cheesesteak with Angus beef, roasted peppers and onions, Havarti cheese, and garlic aioli served on a baguette, with sweet potato fries. The sandwich was hearty and satisfying, and the fries were really good The wagyu burger was another standout--topped bacon, Gruyère and smoky blue cheese, caramelized onions, tomato jam, and garlic aioli on a pub bun. The beef and bacon were fabulous and the fries cooked to perfection Jake, our server, was terrific--attentive, friendly, and helped make the whole experience even better. We finished with the butterscotch bread pudding topped with vanilla gelato and caramel sauce, which was the perfect ending--warm, comforting, and just the right amount of sweetness Overall, a great patio dining experience with flavorful dishes, excellent service, and plenty of variety.
