This review is long overdue! BoLee was the first place I went to go dress shopping in February. I had Sierra as my stylist and could not recommend her enough. I showed her a few inspiration photos and styles I was drawn to; Sierra and the assistant nailed it! It was a great first experience. They made me feel comfortable, beautiful, and confident in the dresses I tried on. Although I didn't buy a dress just yet, I walked away with a good idea of what my style was. My second visit to them was end of March when I really nailed down my style and silhouette. I made a last minute appointment on a Friday and was pleasantly surprised to find that my stylist was Bo herself!!! Me and my family were thrilled. She asked me a lot of questions about my style, if I liked sequin and beading, a deep plunge, what cut, etc. Her energy and laugh were also infectious and just made it another great experience at the store. We moved through the appointment with ease, and honestly it was really fun. Bo worked hard to get a good read on what I thought of the dresses and provided her recommendations as well. My top dress was one that was from her designer line - even more amazing! Lol. I haven't said Yes to the dress just yet, but BoLee's customer service has really set the standard for me! read more

I made my appointment online and showed up with my mom right at 10am. I had Danielle as my consultant and she was sweet. She knew I was on a time crunch.. only 2 months out for my pre-wedding photoshoot. So she told me what was available and how soon I could get a specific dress. Basically the best option for me was to purchase a sample dress from the store. Then they would the alterations in-house for me. Since the alterations were in-house and they knew I was on a time crunch, they would also put my alterations/fitting dates forward and prioritize me, just so I could get my dress on time. I provided her with my budget and then showed her some screen shots of dresses I wanted to try on from their website. The dresses I showed were beautiful but once I tried them on, they didn't suit my body. I ended up purchasing a Stella York dress that was hanging on the rack, which was the very first dress I put on. It just happened that there was sale going on for that weekend, as well as another 50% off for Stella York dresses! No way! I guess they weren't working with the designer any longer. Those dresses were sold as-is but could be altered in-house at an extra cost. I was just happy that I found my pre-wedding photoshoot bridal dress for the best deal ever! Even my mom kept on raving about how the dress I bought was "such a good price" and how "you'd never find a bridal dress at a price like that!" Lol. When I got home, I checked the dress I purchased on their website and noticed that the model had off-the-shoulder straps on hers. The one I purchased did not have the straps. I called the store the very next day to inquire about them. Bo mentioned that since it was a sample dress, sometimes there would be no straps, since people try it on (they're detachable) and some clients even purchase them separately. But she would go ahead and look for them for me. If not, I can get them made in-store from the material that will be hemmed on my dress, at an extra cost. I was a little bummed but understood since I did buy the dress as-is. But to my surprise, Bo called me back not too long after to let me know that she had found the exact off the shoulder straps and would attach them onto the dress for me! YES. Fast forward to my first fitting. I put on my dress and the seamstress let me know what areas she would have to alter. Sadly..my alterations came out to be more expensive than my actual dress. They itemized how much each alteration would cost at the very beginning of my appointment. Once I agreed to them, the seamstress started hemming and pinning. I also told her that I wanted to add some extra sparkle to my dress. So the seamstress showed me a piece of glitter lining that could be added underneath my dress to make it sparkle. I really loved the glitter lining but it turned out to be an expensive material and it costed more than the dress itself. I expressed to Bo my thoughts and she actually gave me a better deal for it. In the end, I opted not to get it since this dress was only for photos. For my second fitting, the seamstress helped me put my dress on and it fit like a glove. Maybe more so because I think I gained a pound or 2. Oops! But more motivation to diet before the photoshoot. I noticed that the off-the-shoulder pieces were uneven and she helped readjust them. On one side of my dress, there was some bunching going on and the seamstress saw it right away. I thought it was just how a dress was going to be but she made a point of it and started pinning the lace so it would lay flatter against my body. I really appreciated the attention to detail. If she had not said something, I would have probably just let it go and regret it later. She told me to come back 2 days later, after she made the final adjustments. I could either just pick it up or try it on one more time. I opted to try it on once more. She wasn't going to be there the following week and said she wanted to be present when I got my dress, which was great. Most places offer only 2 alterations but they offer 3 as most brides prefer 3 appointments to perfect their dress. Overall, I had a great experience at Bolee Bridal. I appreciated that every call I made, Bo was super patient and nice. She would remember who I was before even introducing myself. She didn't come off annoyed or irritated at my needy questions and was always very accommodating (time crunch, off-the-shoulder straps, glitter lining, pushing alterations dates forward.) Plus the seamstress is truly a master of her craft! I would definitely come back here again for another bridal dress if I plan to have an actual wedding ceremony or reception. read more

The first time I came here was with my friend for her wedding dress. The experience (as a non-bride) was so amazing that when it was my turn, I had to make an appointment for myself. The place is super cute, probably the cutest bridal boutique I've been to (and I made appointment at 5 different places, including here.. on the same day lol). I feel so bad for not remembering my consultant's name, but she was so helpful! She listened to what I liked and didn't like, and also advised me to try on gowns that wasn't on my mind (you know the ones where you don't know if you like or not). It's so true when they say that sometime the right dress is the least expected - and that's what happen to me here. I said YASSSS to the dress after a few gowns and it was the one that my consultant helped me with - cant thank her enough! Picking up the dress was such an easy process. They emailed me, just as they said they would and around the time they told me it would be ready, and it was perfect. They wore white gloves to protect the dress, helped me with the fitting, and helped carried my dress to my car. My sister is getting married, so I have been going to a lot of bridal stores and this one definitely deserves a 5/5 star review. It is obvious their ultimate goal is not just to sell you any dress. They are very understanding and try their best to find the perfect dress for you. They have you sit down and have a mini consultation, so you and your dress expert can be on the same page. Then, of course they bring out a bunch of dresses for you to try on. My sister didn't end up buying her dress here, but she didn't leave feeling bad either. They were completely nice even as we were leaving. The real reason I am writing this review is how they treated my daughter. Let me tell you, my daughter is very active and was running around the place, but they were very understanding. They went as far as even letting my daughter try on veils. I didn't even ask if she could, but she offered. My daughter felt special that day, and I felt very thankful! I went to BoLee because they are the only place in the Bay Area that carries a dress I really wanted to try on. Unfortunately, that dress looked nothing like that pictures on me. However, I still had the opportunity to try on lots of beautiful dresses from Made with Love and Pronovias. The reason I took off one star is because the clipping wasn't the best . The following week, I had tied on a dress at another salon and fell in love! Then as I was looking at pics, I noticed it was a dress I had previously passed on at BoLee the minute I looked in the mirror because it looked so loose and unflattering. Regardless, I didn't say yes to that dress at either location in the end. But good clipping really does make such a difference in making a dress of the wrong size look and feel right! read more

Picked out a few dresses online ahead of time & one of them actually was the one i walked out with! Got lucky and was able to buy a floor model too! The associate was very nice & helpful. My only suggestions would be to definitely have the bride try on a veil with the dress (i wasn't offered the option by my rep & i would have bought one). Also there wasn't really excitement from the store when i picked my dress & my friends were the ones that reminded me to take the I Said Yes to the Dress pic. Nothing quite like getting engaged, and then booking a venue only to find yourself with only 6 months before your wedding date. With no idea where to start, I did a Yelp search of all the local bridal boutiques in a 20 mile radius and booked appointments at all of them. Problem is, even with a decent budget, I wanted a very specific look. Very simple with minimal embellishments, no tulle or lace, A-line but flattering to my curves, but nothing that makes my 36DD girls standout, no cleavage, etc etc etc. Out of 9 boutiques that I went to, I was faced with either limited selection (99% of their stock is lace and tulle) or they didn't seem to get my vision even with my Pinterest page to aide them. At one appointment, the attendant even gave up on me because another girl she was helping was for sure finding dresses she liked while I clearly was frowning at everything I tried on. But BoLee was unlike any other. Upon walking in, they offered my mother and I a beverage (water, tea or coffee). This is such a nice touch of hospitality that other places didn't think to offer. They also have personalized congratulations chalk board signs with your name on it. It's the tiny little details that make you feel like you matter. By the way, they are the only boutique that emailed me at the end of the day to thank me for coming in and considering them and to let them know if I need anything further. Then we met Irina. She was bubbly and so good-natured, listened to my descriptions of my dream dress, and was actually excited about the challenges it brought. We tried on only 5 dresses. That's how incredible she was in finding something I'd love. I love how smart and sharp she is. If there wasn't the perfect dress, she was quick to tell me how I could easily alter this dress to get it to what I want (remove the tulle on the outside of this one to get to the beautiful satin underneath... This is tulle but it looks like a smooth single fabric you're looking for instead of the layers you want to avoid). And she was right. I tried on and absolutely fell in love with this gorgeous gown by Stella York. Nailed it. I tried on 53 dresses at 9 places over 4 days. And I was starting to feel so hopeless because I couldn't find a single dress that made me feel like it was it. Irina found ways to make my dream dress possible and a reality. No where else had given me the attention and personal touch that Irina and BoLee did. Irina is adorable, fun, and such a pleasure to be around. We bonded quickly over being the oldest sibling and Shrek (layers, onions have layers). She's incredible and I'm so lucky to have gotten her for my appointments. Do not pass up the chance to come here to find your dress. Even if you find your dress elsewhere, this experience and level of customer service is not to be missed. Due to covid, they are doing appointments by schedule only. They do not charge for appointments. Upon arrival, you will be paired with a consultant who will ask you about your general interests, likes/dislikes of certain styles. Then, she will pull dresses off the racks for you to try. I was very impressed that the dresses they pulled were very close to what I was looking for. The only downside is that they do not allow you to browse their dresses. Overall, I had an excellent experience. I was paired with Pri who did an amazing job with narrowing down what I was looking for / pin pointing exactly what I liked / disliked about certain styles. I said YES to the dress at BoLee Bridal Couture!! It was such a great experience! I came in and they had a sign that said "Congratulations Benita" on it! That was so sweet and tbh, I was tired by the end of that day - BoLee was my last stop and I've tried on so many dresses before coming in and was sad that I haven't found my dream dress yet. I needed that motivation and warm welcome! Ashley was my stylist/consultant and she was great. She listened to me and looked at the pictures I shared and brought over a lot of dresses that aligned to what I was looking for. I tried on the first dress and my bridal party went wild - great reaction from them all and I really really liked it as well. Of course, I wanted to give the other dresses a shot and tried on a few more after. So funny - It was sort of a bit embarrassing because the first dress was see through at the bottom and there was an older mom and pop looking over at me because their daughter's station was right next to mine. I told Ashley and another person, who I found out was the manager, that I felt a little self conscious since it was see through and they gave me a slip to wear underneath - thank goodness. All was well again! The manager was great too and checked up on me a few times. She helped me with the veil so I could see how that would look! At the end, I tried on the first dress one last time and knew it was the one! The owner took measurements, shared the timeline with me in terms of alterations, and I was out the door! Ashley came over with a "I said yes to the dress" sign so I got to take a few pictures with my bridal group before leaving! I was just glad they were able to take me in last minute. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to pick a dress dress here. I recommend having a decent budget here. I would say a starting of $3000. A lot of their dresses is very bulky and has a lot of layers. It's definitely not for everyone. They also don't have that much of selection. Their very accommodating and understanding. Most bride's know that finding their dress can be stressful and for me, well I managed to add more stress by waiting 4 months prior to my day before I even started to look and I needed a dress that could travel well as my destination wedding was in Italy. In comes BoLee Bridal to save the day, they made the experience nothing but pleasant, stress free, and gave great recommendations for the right dress. They were phenomenal all the way through. The option to book a fitting online was super convenient, the boutique is nice and the staff are all very kind. They take the time to understand your style and instruct you where needed. The measurements taken to order my dress were almost exact which is a plus as I didn't like the thought of someone needing to over-altering my dress. This review is long overdue, but just look at all these stars. They are very much deserved, and I am forever grateful to Erika at BoLee Bridal for helping me find my wedding dress! Unlike most brides I didn't start dress shopping with a specific dress in mind. I just had a few photos screencapped on my phone with vague ideas of what I liked (not strapless, and I think I like lace?) plus a budget: around $1,000. I was weary about reaching out to boutiques because most seem to be on the higher end, however, BoLee surprised me by not only welcoming me in, but also providing dresses that were very much within my budget and style! Erika picked out a dress that was spot on to something I showed her on my phone, plus dresses that I probably would not have considered in the first place. I appreciated having that input because one of those dresses she picked ended up being "the" dress. As I did have a hard time deciding, it was a little over a month later before I went back to make my final decision. It was very easy to schedule a second appointment to try on the dress again, as well as veils and other accessories. Since my first visit, the dress I had picked was no longer on sale, so note to indecisive brides like me: make sure you are aware of this so you can factor it in to your decision-making process! I knew the "risks" of not choosing it right away and was okay with the potential price change (as it could have gone up or down). Erika really listened to my feedback and was incredibly patient. From start to finish, the process was not only easy, but a lot of fun, too! I met Bo herself, who was there when I was getting measurements, and made sure that the correct size was ordered. After ordering, I was given a timeline of approximately when the dress and veil would arrive, and both were on time. During pick-up, I had the opportunity to try on the dress again to make sure it was in good condition. And since they ordered the right size for me, I didn't need any alterations along my bodice, which saved me a ton! Called earlier in the week to make an appointment and luckily they were able to squeeze us in on Sunday afternoon. The booking process was very easy and the lady on the other line was very pleasant to chat with! We came in just on time for appointment and was immediately greeted and told that our stylist was finishing up with another client. Not too long after that we met Shaila who was personable and brought us water. It was my sister's first time trying dresses so after they chatted for a bit the magic begun! Let's just say the first dress my sister tried on made the top 3! Shaila did an amazing job listening to my sister and also finding dresses she probably would have never thought to try on! Bolee bridal couture makes you feel like a special valued customer while you're in the process of shopping for your dress because they want to earn your business and have you spend money with them. After said money is received, Bolee's customer service goes down hill and they could care less about you -- the feeling of being a special and valued customer instantly goes away. I came in November 2021 and ordered the dress of my dreams. Fast forward to April 2022, the dress arrived and I was scheduled for a fitting. The owner and seamstress again were extremely pleasant and friendly because there was another $1,300 in alterations involved. They told me to come back with my mother for the next appointment (at which they promised I could pick up my dress) so they can show her how to close the dress on me and how to bustle it. My mom and I both took time off from work and the seamstress was less than pleasant. She promised all of these things such as doing and undoing the bustle multiple times and even taking a video but that was not what happened. She showed my mom once and seemed irritated when we asked her to show it again and take a video -- she even huffed and puffed and sighed multiple times. I'm sorry that I'm asking you to do your job? And the cherry on top was that I apparently couldn't even pick up my dress at this appointment because it wasn't steamed. When it came time to scheduling my appointment for pick up, they wanted me to take additional time off from work to just run in, grab the dress and leave. After telling them that I could only come on the weekend, they brought out the owner who emphasized that she was doing me a HUGE favor by allowing me to come into their store and pick up product that I paid more than $3,000 for. When I finally came in and picked up the dress, one of their associates (who's butt cheeks were hanging out of her shorts) said "yeah, the owner came in just for you today because you were difficult last time." I took the dress and got out of there as soon as I could because I did not want to spend a single second longer in their store with such a rude and unpleasant environment. I came home and took the dress out of the bag as instructed but saw that one of the buttons on the back of the dress was ripped -- I called their store and was told "we aren't liable for anything as soon as the dress is picked up". Whatever, that was the least of my concerns on the wedding day because EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE LOOPS ON THE BUSTLE RIPPED and my coordinators had to literally cut the dress with scissors. Not sure why I paid so much for alterations if the loops on the bustle were hanging on by a thread. Their seamstress clearly has no idea what she's doing. If you're a bride looking for a full service experience, steer clear of this establishment. Their attitude and alterations are next level unprofessional. read more

I couldn't imagine having a better wedding dress shopping experience. It was PERFECT. Special shout out to Erika for genuinely listening and helping me find the dress of my dreams!! She is amazing and I'd highly recommend her as your consultant. I came into the appointment having a general idea of what I wanted and of course, my budget. Erika listened to everything I asked for and made me feel so comfortable. Instead of quickly pulling a bunch of dresses, she took her time to carefully pick four dresses that she knew I'd love and that also fit my criteria. She asked which one I wanted to try on first and immediately, I knew. The first dress I tried on at BoLee is the dress I'll be walking down the aisle in. I SAID YES TO THE DRESS at BoLee's! They say third time's a charm, and BoLee's did not disappoint. Mai was very knowledgable and truly makes you feel comfortable during the entire one hour appointment. She was always so kind and patient, even when I was incomprehensible due to coming straight from night shifts. Prior to the appointment, I had my eye on getting a Pronovias dress, but Mai told me to come back a few months later for the Pronovias trunk show, where they would offer 10% off. The second time I came, I bought my bridesmaids with me for the trunk show and tried on 5+ dresses. Mai showed me a few dresses from San Patrick (which I ended up picking), the sister company of Pronovias. You know you found the dress when all the girls are speechless when you walk out, and when you start tearing after the veil was put on. Yes, I'm a softie, and things got real in that moment. After we paid the deposit on the dress (50% of the total price), Mai bought out champagne glasses (we bought our own bottle) to celebrate finally finding the dress. It's gestures like that, where I appreciate the special touch it added. Prior to BoLee's, I went to 2 other boutiques, and I wish I went straight here. Their selection is huge compared to other boutiques, and they have dresses for every budget. Just be upfront about it when you fill out their questionnaire at the initial appointment. Dress shopping and I read on Bo Lee's website that they have off the rack options. As someone who's trying to keep their dress under $1000, I made an appointment. The store is a bit snooty at first glance, but staff are friendly and attentive and very helpful getting one in and out of all the wedding dresses. That initial snooty vibe disappeared almost immediately. They have a lot of frilly, lacy options so if this is your thing, definitely come here. This is the exact opposite of my thing so I wasn't fully impressed. Although my stylist Katrina did have me try on a beautiful off the shoulder satin dress, that was my style, I just wish I could afford it. The reason for the mediocre rating is that their website is a bit misleading. They have a Something New Blue/sample sale for cheaper options. I mentioned my budget upon arriving and that I saw on their site they have cheaper dresses. The stylist acknowledged they do, then asked me a few questions then started pulling dresses. After trying everything on, then was I told they're not actually doing the off the rack sample sale. Katrina didn't know. She had gone to ask about the sample sale price and was the 'bearer of bad news' person. She said they can't do off the rack right now because it means it's one less dress they can use to sell to another bride, which I get. But, it's misleading. The owner should remove their Something New Blue sale from their site, and then inform sales associates that they're not offering sales. So when a bride comes in with a budget and is shown dresses that are $1200+, outside of my price range, the bride should be told upfront. At BoLee there was no fuss about my 7ppl party. The salon is beautiful and modern. The assistant was great, it was like talking to a friend. After my purchase all inquiries were responded to promptly. Bo was always at my appointments, making sure the experiemce and service was 100%. I added a detachable skirt to my dress, however the skirt was a bit pricey. Bo allowed me to take the skirt to a dress maker who was able to replicate the skirt at a more affordable price. Alterations are not done at the salon, but Bo has many great connections she will refer you to. I went to Halena Coutureshe altered my dress like a glove and made my skirt: A+ service. ** Bo took perfect measurements and ordered my dress at the perfect size. I only needed minimal alterations. I wanted glitter tool, A-line (Not ballgown), with illusion sleeves with some sparkle. The other stores I went to, kept putting me in sleeveless ballgowns. Katrina selected my perfect dress by # 2. I am plus size so I was worried they wouldn't have dresses that would fit me, but they had a large selection in my size, as well as plenty larger and smaller. I got my wedding dress at BoLee and I loved my experience! BoLee was my third and last stop of my dress shopping experience. I wanted a long sleeve full lace dress with a low back and after visiting two other shops, I realized that it was much harder than expected to find the dress that I had imagined. The other shops had explained to me that full sleeve dresses are rare and usually brides will buy a covering or some sort of extension if they wanted that. My hopes and dreams were crushed! My maid of honor recommended BoLee to me - she had been a bridesmaid for other girls and four of them found dresses at BoLee! I made the appointment not expecting much. I came in with my two girlfriends and they sat us down next to a dressing room with a sign above our heads that said my name - such a nice touch as it makes the experience personal! My consultant started by asking some basic questions - when are you getting married, budget, style, etc. She pulled some dresses for me to try on, some were exactly what I had described and some had similar aspects but a little different. I appreciate that because you never know until you try! I ended up loving this one gown and Bo offered a discount if I paid the whole thing in full! Bo measured me and ordered the gown right away. Went to at least 10 wedding dress shops throughout SF/Bay Area and I ended up coming back to BoLee Bridal for my wedding dress. Not only is the place chic, spacious, and stocked with amazing dress selections that were not overpriced, but the staff was incredibly friendly, patient, and personable. I worked with Irina, who made me feel super comfortable the moment I walked into the door. I pretty much decided on a trumpet / mermaid style and she brought out every single dress with that silhouette out for me to try. She even recommended other silhouettes and had me try them on as well just so that I had more closure that trumpet was the way to go. Ended up choosing the Pronovias Princia dress, and Irina recommended a few tailors that they knew were experienced with the intricate lace details of Pronovias. I'm not exactly sure how I came across this place but I did and I'm so glad I did. I set up an appt online and it happened to be the weekend of a trunk sale. It's a cute little boutique and I can't believe I have driven down this expressway and never once noticed it. The subway hides it well. I walked in and there were a lot of dresses to look at and they have you do a little questionnaire. I went in with a very specific dress in mind, but they did not have that exact one so they pulled two similar dresses and a few others (sweetheart dress without sleeves and one with spaghetti straps). I tried on the dresses and they were nice but didn't wow me!! One dress I was really liking was a little out of budget and they offered me a discount on the sample but I said no. Then my consultant pulled wild card type of dress and it turned out to be the one. I bought it and they said that because it was a preview dress it would take a few months to arrive which was fine I came in with plenty of time. I also loved that Bo did not try to make me buy a dress size up just Incase. She told me the truth said the one I had fit just right and to stick with it and I did. When I came into get my dress the designer did not send sleeves. At first they thought that my consultant added it just for me to kind of see but my MOH had a picture that showed it was supposed to come with sleeves. They got in touch with the manufacturer and rushed my sleeves to me. They were also nice enough to pay for the alterations because I needed to add buttons for the sleeves. They were so sincere in their apology and it was not even their fault. I am so happy I found this place. The prices are amazing. I said YES to the dress here! Boutique/Interior: The store is located in a center off of Lawrence Expy. They are appointment only so make sure to contact them before going in! This was the second location I visited while I was on a hunt for my wedding dress. BoLee definitely has a different feel/style than some of the other bridal shops I have visited before. They do not have racks and racks of bridal gowns on the sales floor but have it in the back room for the bridal consultants to go in and choose a few dresses for you to try on after you tell your consultant what you are looking for. I think it is nice to be able to look at the dresses too but sometime it can be overwhelming so I think this was better in my case. Service: I made my appointment for a Monday around 4:30PM. Irina was my Bridal Consultant and LOVED her! She was so patient with me! I had an idea of what I wanted, showed her and she pulled similar styles for me to try on. They are willing to take the time with you and are not over crowded at all. You have your own space, which is nice. The chancing room is large and spacious as well. I also thought it was nice for two people to take my measurement, just to make sure nothing was measured incorrectly. I will be getting my dress with plenty of time for alterations. I had a great experience at BoLee! Despite everyone telling me otherwise (I tried a total of 4 stores bc I was told to try different places), I knew from the beginning of my first visit here that I wanted to get my dress at BoLee. Our stylist was in for a long appointment bc it was day 1 of dress shopping, and my family and I's ideas were all over the place. Wendy was extremely patient with us, pulled many dresses, and listened to our feedback. She helped me narrow my thoughts down and worked with me to figure out what I liked and did not like. I returned for a second appt on a weekday (Wendy only works weekends), and Bo helped us. She pulled a few dresses based on my description/Wendy's notes of what I thought I wanted and asked me to keep an open mind as I tried on different dresses. As cliche as it sounds, the dress I ended up loving is one Bo pulled for me that I thought I had no interest in. I STILL couldn't commit to the dress, so I returned a month later with more family to decide. Bo gave great feedback on standing by the window to take a pic (since the abundance of light was similar to my outdoor venue), which helped us all decide on a final dress and veil. I was quickly measured, and Bo worked with me to select a size. Wendy and Bo both warned me to order in advance just in case there were any issues. Guess I got lucky bc my veil arrived exactly 32 days after I placed my order, and my dress arrived a little under 4 months after placing the order. Veil and dress pick-up was super fast and easy..the staff inspects the garment with you, you try on your dress, and you're on your way with a list of tailors! I had the best experience here.
