I bought a certified pre-owned from Vista and have had nothing but issues every time I go there for service. Mark Wright was excellent but he is no longer there. A friend recently was in the market for an X1 and lives close to Vista and wanted to check them out. Big mistake! We tried to negotiate a deal but were told the mgr who could help us was out of town and would call us next week. The deal we offered was reasonable according to all online websites but for some reason we needed this one person to give the ok. We waited two days and no response reached out to the sales person, no response! Finally two days later the sales person texted and said someone from Mgmt would call, nothing!! Absolutely terrible customer service! I have been a recurring customer at Vista BMW for the past 12 years. I decided to purchase an M5 competition package car. In the beginning all went well and I purchased the car. Shortly there after the engine light came on they thought they had repaired it I received the car back and I had the same issue again in about two weeks. I was moving up to Ocalla so I did not have time for them to continue to try to repair the car. I went to the Ocala BMW and they stated the reason why I'm having all these car issues is because somebody put in an out of factory chip. I was never told that there was a non-factory chip in the car when I purchased it nor was it indicated in any other paperwork. When I contacted Mr. Armando Cucko, The GM of the Pompano Vista location, he was so angry and unprofessional I could not believe it. I have never received such bad service from Vista in the past. He told me it was not his problem and they would not pay to have the in factory chip replaced. So I have no choice in this matter but to hire an attorney to get what is rightly mine. Offer presented, countered, credit reports authorized, financing arranged, deposit made via credit card, made deal to sell current car elsewhere, planned to finalized deal the next day. Well-9 hours after our initial and subsequent contact with sales person and doing all of this work, I get a call that another salesperson was working on a deal with this car so our deal was being voided. Okay-so 9 hours later? Why wasn't it tagged or flagged as "deal pending" and it wasted 9 hours of my day, plus 9 hours of salespersons day. This was BS. I wonder if someone else offered more? Wow I just got my car back and my Son's car from Vista Pompano Service center, How nice the service people are and the Gentleman Frank D went out of his way to make sure every little thing was perfect about the driving of our cars before we went home, ( I am a single Mom and a Realtor so I drive 30,000 miles a year and rely on my safety in this car by the service center alone) They test drove my sons Stick shift for him to show him how to handle the gears the correct way and he was very happy, The service Manager Mr Woody was kind and understanding and he listened to our needs and requirements and showed us a few things about our cars that I did not know and I have had BMW's for years, I put all my trust into these guys at this Service center as I know I am safe with them, They always take great care of our cars and I would like to say Kudos to Vista for having such a great Service team! I would not recommend this service center at all. First, they tried to up charge me close to a $1000 (for air filters, oil changes) - most of which I've replaced or done (and told them that) within the last year. Secondly, I approved about $2000 with of repairs from their initial diagnostics. The next day - the mechanic said none of those would fix the issue and I needed to spend another $2000 for the proper repair. After stating that I would have never approved the initial repairs (some were optional and proactive maintenance $500 necessary; $1500 proactive) with this new information he seemed to leave me little options, but I was not backing down. He then came back saying that one of the initial repairs (the only that was initially the "proper fix and needed" $500) would be waived that it wasn't needed at all. Then miraculously, the additional $2000 repair that would actually fix my car was not needed. But, the $500 repair that was not the issue, again miraculously fixed my car except from now on - my engine warning light would always be on. I now doubt whether they fixed my car. I spoke to the receptionist when I paid my $2000 bill who was very helpful. She went to speak with the manager who told her nothing could be done. The quotes, which were provided online with a link have all disappeared except the last one. But shame on me - the first time I went to this center - I had just had new tires put on. One of them was not put on correctly so wasn't maintaining pressure. It just needed to be re-mounted. Instead the mechanic told me the air valve cap just needed to be screwed on tighter - I should have learned my lesson then. As is, I'm out $2000 and I highly doubt the car was properly fixed. read more

Wow! I was provided with AMAZING customer service by Lina Guzman and Abbas Haider. I inquired online regarding a Lexus RC-F and was contacted immediately by Mariana Moreno. She e-mailed me a quote and set up an appointment for a test drive. I visited the dealership the same day and Lina was able to assist me with a test drive. I fell in love with the Lexus RC-F and decided this was the car for me. They did a wonderful job detailing it and providing fresh vehicle service so I left worry-free. If I could add a negative starr to the Pompano location I would. I have had nothing but set bad cells experiences and the service department and no other words sucks. From the guys who greet you that except your car or deliver your car back to you do not speak to you in English, never address you And look to you like you're a nuisance or putting them out. I have called and complained about this for 12 years now and yet the same people still work there it's as if they don't care. I always buy brand new except for my latest purchase a used X.3 which I tried to purchase at the Pompano location but no one from the USed sales department would get out of their chairs and come walk the lot so I left. A kind customer service rep from Coconut Creek called me I told him I would give this to one more chance and I met a terrific you salesman and the sales manager Duayne whom i ended up buying the X.3 with. Now back in January when I bought the car it was fine I took it on a road trip came back in March like an idiot took it to the Pompano location they said that it needed a lot of work seven pages worth yet main thing I took it in for was the brakes. Braking would cause shaking and vibration when I try to stop at anything over 40 they said they fixed it I called them a week later and said I know it's not fixed it still shakes!! This is after they had my car for nine days I brought it in and they said the brakes are fine!!! Windshield wipers are fine everything's good. Well it's not the car still shakes so ......I am now @ Coconut Creek location and guess what the brakes are shot after less than 60 days. So this will make it 4 weeks I have been without the car I own so my advice if you just have to own a BMW go to Fort Lauderdale BMWRun run run run run from Vista!!!! This was the worst dealership I've ever been and it's a BMW dealership. Let's ignore the fact the cosmetics if the facility look like a "in house financing" dealership. Let's talk about the fact that I came at 330pm on a Tuesday and not one service advisor was in sight, I went inside to speak with someone because I thought maybe this was such a low volume BMW dealership that maybe service advisor worked short staffed but once inside I was told that not even reception Knew where the service advisors were. I was asked if I had a couple minutes to wait while a advisor was located I stated "absolutely not" I didn't feel comfortable bringing my 328i that just came out of Warrenty with a BMW dealership with what seemed to be no standards for the name there selling, I definitely can't see them servicing my vehicle with any higher standards. On the way out the facility I had to back out of the one way single service lane which ended up being a tight spot to back out of, the security that was on duty flipped out asking why "didn't I tell him I wasn't planning on staying" I responded "that he must not understand how service works, that I assumed I was staying and didn't plan on a BMW dealership being so shady and slimey" then I told him I didn't need to explain myself to him in which he respond "who do you think your talking to" I couldn't believe what was just occurring and I told him get away from car and conversation was over with! It gets worse he tells me "move my car right this second or he's calling the police" remember this whole time I was trying to back out of a very tight spot so it was taking me longer than usual maybe 1-2 min. He went inside and got the receptionist who didn't speak with but instead guided me out the parking lane! I will repost the review until it is seen by as many BMW owners in south Florida. Dishonest & Terrible! I traded in my BMW for a 2016 535I in Vista BMW in Pompano Beach, FL.. Mark Laidley sold me a BMW Tire & Wheel Protection Plan insuring me that no matter what happened to the tires, wheels, rims, I would be covered. I purchased the 5 year coverage plan for my vehicle and felt secure.I felt that I was dealing with reliable and honest people and had just purchase a good car with even better warranty and service. Sadly, when I tried to use this plan less than a year after, I was informed that my rims were not even covered by this plan and that I had no coverage for the kind of wheels on my car. NOBODY helped me with this matter. After aggravating phone calls and visits to the dealer, they agreed to give me a refund (not fix my problem which is what I wanted). I was promised a refund for the plan since it had been incorrectly sold to me. When the money finally came into my bank, I only received 1/3 of the money I paid. They have not only made me very upset, but they have lost a BMW client forever. I will make sure that everyone I know, all of the websites with reviews, and social media know that your company does not care about its clients, is dishonest selling plans that don't correspond to ones vehicle, and that BMW will never have a client in me again. read more

I have dealt with Vista numerous times on three vehicles. Two BMWs, have been serviced by them and one (Volkswagen) was purchased and serviced by them. Each time ends up in some sort of issue - repair is not done correctly, wait time is well beyond what they told me on the front end, fees tacked on that have no meaning to the original quote, rude service, etc. Shame on me for going back. I have a 13 year old BMW that needed a recall repair and they treated me like I just bought a new car. Easy Saturday appointment, no pressure to do unneeded work, gave me a loaner car, and when it was done my car was waiting out front clean and ready to go and I spent less than 5 minutes in the dealership returning the loaner and getting my keys. I would not do business with this dealership! I spoke with my salesperson Tanner on the phone about a vehicle I was very interested in purchasing for my son. He suggested that I put a $1,000 deposit on my credit card to hold the car until I could get to the dealership the next day as he had already left. His manager Butch Roller sent me the credit card authorization form and confirmation that he received my information at 8 pm. The next day when I was on my way from Miami to see the car at 2 pm Tanner told me that someone else was interested in the car and was on their way to the bank to get a check. Butch Roller then called to apologize for Tanner's inexperience as it was "his first week at the dealership" and told me that they were selling the car as the "deposit only holds the price, not the car" when we hadn't even determined a price yet! It's not mega dealership; although they do have a sister-site that is in Coconut Creek, the personal touch and customer service is out of this world. BROKEN ! DAMAGED ! SLUDGE FILLED BMW Vista BMW literally broke my car and refused to fix it. I took my 328 in for a simple oil change, drove out and 8 miles later my car was SPEWING SMOKE. I took car back and was told a valve cover was broken and it would cost $1500 to replace. I felt robbed. I called and emailed Jonatha Chariff , C.E.O and his assistant Kimberley a few times with NO REPLY. Don Woody the service manager at Vista BMW emailed me to say they would fix car in "good faith " and I was so grateful until the next day when they suddenly discovered SLUDGE and told me I need a new engine!! I was beyond shocked and again attempted to reach Jonathan Chariff and requested he meet with me. Again I was totally ignored .I even attempted to reach him through BMW NA to no avail. Final quote to fix my car was $7000 !!! VISTA BMW + OIL CHANGE = NO CAR I now need a new engine because they "found" SLUDGE AND OIL LEAKS all over engine.There was NO sludge nor oil leaks when it drove in and considering they are supposed to be such " Certified" BMW technicians who use "state of the art " equipment they should have known beforehand. I believe that Vista BMW caused this problem. Vista BMW tried to blame the fact that my car was not bought from them but from "sub standard" dealer but Vista is the only company who serviced the car for the 2 years I have owned it AND Vista claims that they couldn't know if there were oil leaks and sludge when doing an oil change...SERIOUSLY ? I guess they really don't know what they are doing there. the certified professionals could not tell that the OIL was sludge? I cannot wait to hear what they will blame next. I bought a "Certified" Pre-Owned BMW for just under $60,000, drove it out of state, and it has been in and out of the out of state dealer now for a total of over 3 weeks. SAM i AM; -After searching helplessly, for around 4 weeks, for a used car for my 25 year old son, (within a certain price and mileage, and had to either be a toyota or honda) I saw an ad on autotrader, for a used solara, with low mileage at Vista motors. I called and spoke with "sam", and we arrived at a negotiated price on the phone, sigh unseen, which i felt was very cool. (assuming I liked the car) Vista allowed us to take the car to a local mechanic for further inspection, which we did. car checked out well, with a few minor issues. Upon hearing about these minor issues, Vista allowed a further reduction of price, as an allowance to get those items fixed (mostly cosmetic- nothing mechanical ) Vista was as cool as anyone could expect, certainly a far opposite from another local dealder, who refused to negotiate at all, even after we saw the vehivle, and it needed a set of tires; So if you need a used car, ask for "sam" and tell him "marty and joey (the guys you sold the toyota solara to) sent you. They don't even great us when we enter after going to the bank.
