There was a minor misunderstanding on scope of job needed which caused price to change a little bit from original quote, but it was quite reasonable and I agreed to new fair price. Note: GPS took me to a different building at first, so you have to make sure to use "2429" building number and you'll find their bay tucked in the rear corner of a gray biking with several bays. It's a busy lot (full of cars, mainly from body shop next door). He started on my car pretty much right at my appointment time and didn't stop working (only took water breaks) on car until job was complete since I had to wait. True commitment! The car had one strut that gave him a harder time causing it to take a bit longer, but there was no extra charge for that. He stuck with the agreed upon price for the job. Overall a great experience and I plan on having other work done at their shop. Definitely a good local shop to know.

You go to the lot and you spot what car you want to test drive and they will then set you up with the test drive. I guess it's a good system if you don't see anything you like and you don't waste a salesperson time, but I thought that was kind of odd. We walked around for about 15-20 min and did not find anything that caught our eyes. But at least we now know how it works.

So we found a car outside the area. We paid the have it transported here from another Carmax. We contacted a local GM dealer and found that Carmaxs Equifax reporting (versus Carfax) was incorrect and manufacturer warranty was finished. We also found the CPO on file was never paid for original dealer and thus not in effect. Urgh .... So we reach out after hours by chat to discuss cancelling and to find out the process when they were incorrect. Not to worry, the car was on a test drive and being sold today. Didn't you see the refund pending for delivery you paid ??? What ... So in effect the delivery was paid and funds received. The car was on hold and Carmax allowed another buyer to test drive and buy a unit held for transport. Then they just refund the money and fail to alert via phone and email. Wow ! Now again we were going to cancel and all is well in end. We won't likely ever consider Carmax for a buy in future however. Bad info on cars, poor hold and transport policies, and true lack of empathy around their business model and loopholes. Just another typical car dealer experience !!!

Extremely rude owner…read more Initially I had planned to purchase a vehicle but my mother had a bad fall and I found myself in a situation where I had to be with her at the hospital and to stay with her as she had a fractured hip. When she recovered and I noticed the vehicle was still for sale the owner went off on me saying that he no longer would finance me, he had no time to play games with people, that he only deals with people who have integrity, and to never contact his dealership again. There was no cause for him to instantly become so upset and lack empathy. After all, it wasn't as if he was holding the vehicle for me and turned away customers the pass 2 weeks. He simply held it overnight at closing time and I highly doubt there were people coming in at that time waiving 100 bills at him wanting to buy it and even if they had, I highly doubt he would have held it strictly because we had 1 phone call.

When I asked when he/she would be available I was told that I could speak to the person on the phone and would not be given a time to speak to a manager or have them call me. The sales person finally says the vehicle has been sold but they have a different unit. I let them know I don't want it, thank you, goodbye. Best part, the sales person is now harassing me and has called 8 times in less than 8 minutes and left 6 blank voicemails after I said I'm not interested.
