We were spending a quick 12 hours in the Inner Harbor and were looking for places slightly off the beaten path to explore in all of the rain. Bmore Licks came up when we were eyeing another place in the neighborhood. We filed it away and after dinner hit up this hot spot. Our kids were so excited about all the flavor options and I was excited about the fast service despite the line! Our son had one of their soft serve creations which were so neat! The toppings are blended into the ice cream. He loved his vanilla with peanut butter cups. My daughter had hand dipped ice cream and liked her flavor as well (cotton candy - too sweet for me, but what 8 year old doesn't love it!?). The adult coffee-fienes tried the Cuban Coffee Oreo. It was a bit too oreo-y with not enough coffee flavor, but that's once again a personal preference. All in all we would 100% go here again and visit this area of the town, too. read more

It was a nice day and we saw a line of people waiting to get ice cream. We found a nearby parking spot on the street. The line moved quickly and we had just enough time to figure out what we wanted to order. I got fruity pebbles soft serve with rainbow sprinkles and my daughter got chocolate cake soft serve with sprinkles. There is a nice seating area in the shade and it's fun to watch people walk by with their dogs. This place has water bowls and treats for dogs also. The ice cream was light and creamy. This place hits every time. I'm obsessed. I actually just feel the urge to come here all the time because it's so addictive. The parking in this area can be tricky, but we usually can find a spot. When you come you have to get the soft serve. Even if you order the cake cone they really pile it on. The fruity pebbles flavor is bomb. The hardserve is also really good. The only thing I will say is yesterday when my dad and I went we both got soft serve in a cake cone and the height of his soft serve was significantly shorter. Like cmon. This place was absolutely incredible, like I need to go back ASAP. First of all the range of flavors for both soft serve and hard ice cream were borderline overwhelming but in a good way and I wanted to try everything. The shop itself was also adorable and the signage was perfect. The outside murals were also beautiful and even though the place was small it was perfect for eating outside on a nice day. I ended up getting the purple cow and brownie ice cream and my boyfriend got the cookie dough. The purple cow was super flavorful and the white and chocolate chips were lovely. The brownie ice cream had to be the best brownie I've ever had, the chunks were gooey and fudgy and so delicious. The cookie dough ice cream was also pretty insane. I've never had an ice cream that actually tastes like the dough rather than just vanilla, so good. The prices were also pretty reasonable for how massive the portions were. Like my boyfriend got a triple scoop for like $7 and it filled a bowl. They also have way more than just ice cream, the options are incredible, I need to go back and try the soft serve and shakes! I went here 12-4-22... on the strength of the manager from home maid telling us how great the ice cream was!! We also went cuz I was in the area anyhow celebrating my Birthday ! .. it's on the tail end of the street but a street where cars can park or zoom up and down the road. We made the trek to Bmore Licks from Baba's on a hot summer's day. Y'all -- totally worth it. I'm someone who can eat my weight in ice cream any day, and I've loved living in Baltimore and experiencing all the unique flavors. I brought my party of 9 here and everyone was able to get generous helpings of ice cream. I stuck with my faves, coffee oreo and cookie monster, but many in my family branched out and got soft serve or other flavors. I'd say there were no complaints, because all I could hear was the scraping of spoons on bowls. We ordered from the outside window since the inside was PACKED with people trying to escape the heat (heads up for immunocompromised folks). I understand the staff were busy, but to hear them complaining felt uncomfortable. Also, the music they were playing seemed a bit inappropriate for the largely kid audience. This place usually has a long line and long waits but you would expect them to have a handle on orders... They lost an order for a lady a few places in front of me and then lost mine as well. I waited 20 mins before asking for an update. The cashier who took my order didn't remember me and didn't seem to believe me, he shook his head and took another 10 mins to put together my ice cream (still gave me the wrong ice cream). I left and walked away and then realized they gave me a broken cone and wrapped it in a napkin to cover it up. Cute little spot on the corner with vegan options, which is why we went. We had a frustrating experience with the cashier when we asked if we could order a double scoop and have one of the scoops in a cup and one in a cone. She insisted on charging us double (for 2 singles), when all we needed was a double ice cream cone with an extra cup. We were too tired to argue, but then someone behind her stepped in and said they can do it. So they put both scoops in a cup, and i had to scoop it (with a plastic spoon) into a cone myself. We got hard ice cream but it melted fast. It all ended up being a hot mess and a lot of ice cream was wasted. Great variety, but the quality was mediocre.
