This was great food after a hike. Beer and food were a good price and I enjoyed their combo plate (sausage and brisket were best, I didn't care much for the pulled pork), the Mac m cheese with bacon, buttered rolls, and fries. Everyone really enjoyed their fries and lemonade. I got a Fat Tire ale and it paired well with the food. Service was pretty quick and you seat yourself. There is a lot of parking outside and it looks like the lunch rush is just before noon

If you want melt in your mouth bbq definitely try their brisket. So delicious. Customer service was perfect and you never had to want for anything. One of the best cole slaws they make

Half slab plus Mac n cheese!!! Meat falls right out of the bone. Plenty of room with TVs and high tops owners wife is a great server.

I am giving this place three stars, mostly because of the exorbitant cost. Seriously, $19 for a small brisket sandwich and seasoned fries is crazy. The sandwich was ok. Probably a 1/4 lb of meat on a toasted hamburger bun. They put a garlic butter on the bun, which actually overpowered the smoke of the meat. Speaking of the smoke, they had a large smoker out front, complete with a big bag of Kingsford charcoal. I guess they use this as their base, but in my experience, charcoal is a lazy shortcut and wrecks the flavor of smoked meat. Even with all of these shortcomings, the brisket was pretty juicy. I get food costs, but when a flat goes for $3-4 a lb,, a $17 ala cart, adequate sandwich is not worth a second trip.

So, I'm rather conflicted about how to rate this place. On one hand, any restaurant with a five-star average should be a top-notch experience. On the other, I've lived my entire life in Texas and consumed a lot of Texas BBQ in my time. In fact, one of the top BBQ places in the DFW area was around a mile from my house. Also, in recent years, I've had a lot of KC BBQ at some of the best joints, and I've also sampled the main places in Memphis once or twice. So to say I'm a BBQ connoisseur would be an understatement. Since before moving here, I've been told that Coloradans don't know TexMex, and they don't know BBQ. We've confirmed the first fact at every Mexican place we've visited. And unfortunately, we confirmed the second fact tonight as well. If this is the best BBQ in the area, it's not saying a lot. Now I'll add, there's nothing particularly wrong with this BBQ. If you like BBQ like you enjoy all other types of food, and you think Olive Garden is good Italian, you'll think it's fine. Just don't look at the five stars and assume you're walking into a place that would be five stars in an area that actually knows BBQ. If you do, you'll be very disappointed. First of all, this is by far the most expensive BBQ I've ever purchased. Dinner for two was $70...before tax/tip, and without any alcohol. That's nuts. Bad enough to pay those prices, but worse to eat the food, chew, swallow, and go, "meh." My daughter and I did that and shrugged many times during the meal. My sausage was slathered with so much sauce, you couldn't really even taste the sausage, and what you could taste reminded me of that Eckrich kielbasa your mom would get from the grocery store when you were little and then cook by boiling it in hot water. It was very bland, no flavor, no seasoning, and certainly no spice. The three ribs were the smallest, strangest ribs I've ever seen. Compare the pics of mine to the other rib pics on here. At least those look like ribs. I'm not even sure what mine looked like. To give me one of those runty things, ok fine. But all three? Cmon, that's highway robbery for the price charged for three ribs. Luckily for me, I realized I wasn't missing much. While not terribly fatty or tough, again, not a whole lot of flavor. My daughter had the sliced brisket sandwich. She declared it fine at first and very 'mid' near the end. In case you're not following along at home, 'mid' is what the kids say today instead of 'meh.' As far as sides, the beans with burnt ends were probably my favorite, although my daughter tasted them and thought they tasted like baked beans from a can. The batter on the fried pickles was too thick, and the ranch for dipping seemed more like what my wife makes using Greek yogurt. My daughter liked the Mac and cheese, but I thought it was a bit strange, and the oil from the meat that was pooling in it was downright gross. A true lover of potato salad, she again turned her nose up at this one and declared it bland and not great. More food was left than ever before. Would you like to go boxes? Um, no thanks. We're good. Drinks were sold by the bottle, no rolls or bread to counter the rich sauce, and nothing offered for dessert. After BBQ, you've got to have a cobbler, banana pudding, or at least ice cream to follow all that BBQ sauce. It's probably just as well; that likely would've failed too. Service was pleasant and prompt, and definitely the high point of the meal. We'll keep an eye out for other supposedly high-rated BBQ in the area, but that eye will definitely be raised with a non-trusting glare at the same time.

    3 meat plate.

After visiting this newly opened restaurant several times, I feel like it's time to write a review. I actually stopped by a couple times before it was actually open after I saw the sign. This area is lucky to have a new barbecue restaurant that is actually very good. On the first visit when they were actually opened I ordered my "go-to" test which is brisket, which in my opinion is more difficult to prepare properly then ribs or pork. At least it is when I try it at home. When the brisket came out I saw it was sliced and I told the guy thank God it's not chopped and he grinned at me. The brisket is very very good as well as the pork and ribs. The sides are also much better than average at a barbecue joint. The macaroni and cheese is topped with breadcrumbs and cheese crust which is really unique and very good. The barbecue beans are loaded with big chunks of brisket. When you drive in the first thing you see is a huge smoker right by the entrance. My tip is to go off menu and order the "meat plate" which will get you brisket, pulled pork, and sausage, with two rolls. Then add on a side of mac & cheese and a side of barbecue beans and you're ready to roll. The coleslaw is really good too! Who knows about dessert we've never made it past the meats.

When you enter and walk a few feet you see the main dining area to the left.

We were looking for a short jaunt to discover another part of the Denver area. A coworker suggested driving down to Sedalia to get the best cheeseburger she's ever had at Bud's Cafe & Bar. That sounded tempting but I went on Yelp just to see what other attractions there might be in this one-horse town. That's when I discovered several other eateries including BMan's BBQ. Looking at the pictures, the food at BMan's looked way more tempting than Bud's cheeseburger. So we headed out to BMan's for a late lunch. The special was tacos, but when I was that close to a properly smoked pulled pork, I just had to get some of it on a sandwich. Everything about this place was wonderful and well worth the short drive from Littleton. It started with us being greeted by Felicia, who you can tell loves her job and the place where she works. When she found out we were first-timers she introduced us to the menu items, sides, specials, and a little history of the place. It was a joy to be served by her. We both got pulled pork sandwiches and sides of potato salad, crispy, salted french fries, and coleslaw. The pork was lean and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Everything was perfectly prepared and delicious! My wife agreed this place is definitely worth the drive for its barbecue, service, and dining experience. The place isn't fancy, but with the majority of their sauces and sides being made from scratch, and the meats smoked just the day before, the food is the real attraction at BMan's.

Ask the Community - BMan's BBQ

Do they serve alcohol or is it BYOB?

They have a selection of bottled beer. By the bucket too. The brisket is worth it. I love this place. Local family owned too.

    Is the restaurant weather dependent?

They have indoor and outdoor seating. BBQ goes regardless of the weather.

I live 35 to 40 minutes from their location, so we had to go into the King Soopers to buy plates and silverware in order to eat our lunch. The second disappointment: We got there at 11:10 on a Sunday, and they were already sold out of burnt ends. Then, they need to tell you that the cost of the sandwich is only for the sandwich! You get dry meat. I have no idea why the describe it as "Kansas City Style" and "Carolina Style" when all you get is smoked meat. I can only guess that we had to pay for sauce if we wanted it? The meat was fine. The beans were good...but the sauce was runny instead of thick, so they flooded the plate. I didn't try the potato salad, but my family said it was fine. Here's the thing: if you include the price of paper plates and silverware, I paid almost $70 for dry sandwiches. We won't be back. Maybe, having lived in Kansas City for 20 years, I am expecting too much, but a little sauce and a napkin or two don't seem like unreasonable expectations.

It definitely had a kick to it, even without using much of the sauce on the side. Vegetables were good, but when they put the chicken on top of the fries, those end up getting a little soggy. Wanting to try something different, one daughter had the grilled chicken sandwich. While she wasn't terribly impressed at the start, the more she ate, the more she approved, deeming it to be "fine" and something she'd likely get again. The other daughter, also wanting something different, had the green chili burrito. She wasn't as impressed with the dish, saying it didn't have much taste, even after adding good amounts of salt and pepper. The burrito was described as "mid", which I guess means 'not very good.' Doubtful she orders this again. Service was fine at the start, but somewhat sporadic as the meal progressed.
