We were not disappointed with the food, the service, or the friendliness of the staff. I got the double Smash Burger, my wife got the Ribeye Steak Bites over Seasoned fries, and we got a burger patty with cheese for our four legged friend. My burger was great, and the steak bites were amazing, but my wife found the fries a little less crispy that she would have preferred. The doggo, needless to say, thought her burger was terrific. The following Saturday we went to Honnibrook Craft Meadery on a blistering afternoon, and Crave'n happened to be there. We weren't super hungry yet, so just ordered their Carne Asada nachos, and they were terrific. We'll gladly return to this excellent food truck in the near future, and look forward to patronizing their new brick 'n mortar restaurant when it opens (this fall, I think).

Most recently we tried a pair of el pastor tacos along with chicken tacos. The chicken was juicy and well seasoned with a touch of guacamole to make it a well balanced dish. The el pastor...well, it blew my mind!! The combination of flavors with the thinly sliced radishes made this is a huge winner in my book! Maybe I didn't need the pico de Gallo on the el pastor, but it is such a well thought out and executed bite. A+++ In the past, we've tried the burgers and the chicken with "waffles". The waffles are actually deep fried biscuits with a wonderful glaze. I can't think of one reason why we shouldn't eat here more often.

We drove down to Alidade Brewing in Castle Rock last week to give them another visit. My wife got the Elk Slopper burger with spicy chili, and I got the Elk Patty Melt. We got our dog an elk party, and she wolfed it down like she hadn't eaten in a week. Hard to say which lunch either of us preferred, but they were both worth five stars. The owners are as nice as can be, very enthusiastic about their business, and very pleasant to talk to.
