I had the brisket as well but the brisket seemed to have no flavor at all on it. I'm more of the type of person if you have to out some type of sauce on your bbq it's not seasoned correctly. The jalapeño and cheese sausage was okay just seemed like store bought jalapeño cheese sausage honestly. On top of it most of the food wasn't warm/hot at all it was more like room temp for everything. I was really disappointed because I'm not from around here and everyone said this is the best place to go around this area.

The bar area is decked out in sports memorabilia and old school sports equipment. It looked pretty clean to me as well. Our server was great! He was prompt and friendly. We ordered off of the protein power part of the lunch menu. It includes a salad and either a full rack of ribs or a plate with pulled pork, bbq chicken breast and chopped beef brisket. I got the kale salad and my partner got the Caesar salad. The kale was tasty and I definitely want to go try recreating it. My partner enjoyed his Caesar salad. I got the full rack of ribs which I'll probably get next time too, unless we go for the prime rib lol my partner enjoyed the three meat plate, we did share and I prefer the ribs. We will definitely be back, in my opinion I feel like the prices are reasonable for what you receive. This spot is worth a visit!

Soo hubby and I looking for a new place to eat in Parker after a long trip from Michigan back to…read moreColorado - we did not feel like eating - so we heard about Bourbon Blues - shared with the waitress it was our first time and she gave us amazing recommendations- the wings and my chicken sandwich! She was right ! The chicken wings we ordered extra crispy and I have to say the rub was delicious on the wings- I mean I ate all the meat of my chicken wings - and that's not always a thing for me. I ordered my chicken well to make sure it was cooked and my bacon extra crispy- and to my happiness they have real potatoes to make the French fries!!! My husband got the Cheeseburger and onion rings and they were tasty too! I had to try one - and they were just as good as my fries! THE ONLY SUGGESTION I WOULD MAKE is spend money on your BUNS! You want your bun to be as fresh as your food! The bun seemed old and tore apart as I ate my sandwich. It's a little dark but it's a bar and grill so it's perfect for a night out to watch some football! Our table was really clean but it wasn't that busy - - Hubby and I really enjoyed ourselves- so we went back a second time - got the same thing - but it was different this time - maybe because it was busy or a different cook but - I'll still support and again: SPEND SOME MONEY TO HAVE AWESOME BUNS for your sandwiches because the chicken is good!

What a disappointment. They have a menu full of what sound like great burgers, and they're…read morejust...meh. My buddy had the Signature burger that had bacon, fried jalapenos, and cream cheese on it. It had about half a brick of cream cheese slapped on it -- not melted -- and it was just a gloopy mess, like eating a stick of butter. His patty was unevenly cooked as well. He asked for some pink in the middle and half the burger was pink while the other half was well done. (That's hard to do.) The burger was supposed to have a maple glaze of some kind on it, and there was no maple flavor at all. I had a bison Frontier burger. The bison was good, but it had no pink even though I requested it. The burger came with bacon, onion rings, and BBQ sauce -- maybe a teaspoon of it. I had to request more sauce, because there was nothing on the burger otherwise. I have to address the onion rings. These are the weirdest-tasting onion rings I've ever had in my life. Apparently there's champagne (???) in the batter -- for what reason I can't imagine -- and they have absolutely NO flavor to them. They didn't even taste like onions. Very, very odd and off-putting. Fries -- My burger came with fries that were simultaneously soggy, cold, AND burned. My only guess is that they were reheated. Also, it was a basket of short, busted-up fries -- again, bottom of the barrel or reheated? I mean, come on, guys. You can even put out a decent side of fries? Beer selection seems good, except they only carry Ultra Zero for the non-alcoholic choice. Really? There are so many people choosing non-alcoholic beers now and a lot of them are quite good, and that's all you're going to carry? Heck, even Colorado-born Blue Moon makes a non-alcoholic version now. At least carry that. I opted for a Sprite instead. It was flat. And in a dirty glass. Service was fine and attentive, but that was all that was going for this place.

I'm sure it's pretty tough to make these as tender as they were, but I was very happy with the results. I also had the pulled pork which was juicy and delicious and the brisket, which is always great. What may have impressed me the most was the grits. I also highly recommend going there on a weekend to get their three dollar Sammie. Don't think you'll beat that price anywhere for a solid amount of meat.

The employee taking orders didn't know much about the sides (when my friend asked about the beans he just showed them to him instead of explaining what they have in them or if he likes them). I asked about the grits and another employee had to chime in that they were good. We both ordered the combo which includes a drink and side. We waited for a while for our food and went in after a while to see if everything was ready. They seemed flustered and told us the food would be right out. Granted there were a few people ahead of us but less than 5 total. The real McCoy sandwich was REAL dry. It comes with burnt ends and the bison green Chile and cheddar sausage (used to have pork as well) and their regular or buffalo sauce helped but not enough to overcome the dryness of the meats. The andouille & corn grits were fine as well. The sausage gives it a nice pop but the grits were more like potatoes in consistency. The best part was the Boylans ginger ale. Bummed Roaming Buffalo wasn't what I had previously. May come back but with other BBQ options it may be a while.
