They save me the hassle of having to take the mta and stop at every train station on the n to then transfer on the 7 just to get to flushing. It takes me 1.5 hours with mta but with these buses it only takes me around 40 mins give or take depending on the traffic. Not to mention I'm sitting in a comfy seat and don't have to deal with external issues. As of July 2021, I pay $5 one way. Using a rideshare app or calling car service would have costed me well over $40. The bus caters to the Chinese immigrant community that usually travels back and forth from the 3 different chinatowns (Brooklyn 8th ave, Manhattan chinatown, flushing queens) either for work, run errands or meet up with family. It gives the people mobility with comfort and it's community centered. If you are not Chinese it's still ok. Once you get to know the system that's in place you'll never want to take public transportation again.

I heard about the PRIME service which is basically an upgraded bus. The bus has single seats on the right and double seats on the left. The service is advertised to have tray tables. The tray table in my single seat does not work. I want to rate this service a 3 because of the tray table not working. The seat pitch (space between seats) is larger/longer than standard buses - which is true and is nice since I'm over six feet tall. One thing that's not advertised but I did notice was shades for the window which is nice. My window had them. Some did not. As others mentioned, the wifi can be spotty. In the age of cell phones and mobile hotspots, just be prepared to use yours in case the bus wifi goes out. The complimentary water was nice - but it was not cold/chilled. Just ambient temparature water. The timeliness of arrival always depends on traffic - so most times the arrival time is after the scheduled time (especially since Best Bus advertises 4 hour trip times from DC to NYC) - I have not seen arrival times within 4 hours - it's always later (sometimes up to an hour later). It's due to traffic though, not driver skills or service. Overall I do like Best Bus PRIME. Would I take it again - probably - if the schedule works. It only runs once a day - all the other services are regular Best Bus service.

I want to share my experience I had today with the Monsey bus…read more I'm waiting by the stop for the bus, waiting and waiting for a half hour, till finally my eyes met a bus arriving to the stop, I give a closer look, and it gets dark for my eyes, on the screen above the bus, there's announced "BORO PARK/WILLIAMSBURG". That means that they literally sent one bus for both locations in a busy time Thursday night when everyone is looking for a way home, and there's NOBODY to talk to !!! No space for luggage. No space to sit. And the driver ?? Sitting in his seat with a smile and telling us that there's only that bus. "If you want you could wait for the next bus". (Not that it's the drivers fault at all, just that was the response. No excuse.) I'm going up on the bus, shticky hot like no option to breathe. Like 10 people are standing (!!!) In the aisle where there's supposed to be empty. Full of luggage on the floor. The smell on the bus was terrible. I wouldn't recommend that smell even for anyone's toilet at home. A horrible smell ! Sorry to tell you! At all not a good service if you want to be on a bus, arriving on time, a seat to sit, space for your luggage. That's besides the cool attitude you're getting from the dispatcher.
