So we have to zoom consultation on Tuesday and it went well she said she would book me for Saturday at 2. At the end of the zoom call she told me she would email me the location and codes to get in. Days past never got an email. I'm not worried because she said she lives at the same place so maybe not give people the codes to day of. NOPE. Saturday comes its 1:30 still no email so I drive over to the location that is on Google maps. Find the building a lady just so happened to be moving things so I came in through a side door. I walk a little turn right and boom a door with honeecomb on it I ring the door bell for about 10 minutes, no answer! So she got 50 dollars for a consultation, which she said would go towards the cost of the service. She is not trustworthy extremely unprofessional and scamming people . I can literally show the bank statement which I will be calling it fraud. Save your time and money don't waste it on this pathetic women who calls herself a healer! Karma is a bitch!

I went in knowing that my hair was damaged, and likely needed more cut off than I felt comfortable cutting. After the gentle, non-judgmental way that Melanie listened to me intently and gave feedback and suggestions, I knew that I could trust her. And I'm sooo glad that I did. She cut all the dead hair from my head, and gave the rest of it a great shape. She then recommended that I get coils and the results were AMAZING!!! It's been two days and I've gotten more compliments on my hair than I think I've received in my entire life...and I'm 41 ! Thank you, Melanie. I can't wait to see all that my hair will do and become under your meticulous care!

Her blow-outs are masterful, the facility is cute, stylish and clean (I like the privacy) and she'll usually offer you chocolate or coffee or both. Yum! Quick tip: as of May 2018, I know she was still working on perfecting certain kinds of coloring. She will be honest about what she's good at. I had a special request, and she did what it took to make me happy, even though it took a couple tries (she warned me it wasn't her specialty, but I still wanted her to do it, lol). If you have a very specific kind of coloring you need, just ask ahead before booking. If she says she can do it, it will be excellent work. I highly recommend her!!

It sheds like beauty supply hair (I haven't purchased beauty supply hair in over 15 years). There was another woman who left a review below that said it's bad quality and I should have listened. This is one of my worst experiences. Not even a month in and it's lost most of its density and length. From day 1 it was yellow and was shedding. I emailed them and they said that can happen....a month and a half in it's destroyed. Nothing has been done to this hair. Please listen to me and do not purchase this- it won't last more than a month (atleast the bundles) and it is not a good investment.

Considering that Belinda ghosted me after her 2nd failed attempt at a retie, let's see how long…read moreit'll take for her to respond to this review. I had an appointment for a retie and a hair style with Belinda on June 7th. Belinda's work was sloppy and inconsistent which I didn't realize until I got home and started running my fingers through my hair. To be fair, there were areas throughout my hair that felt 'ok', unfortunately, the majority of my locs had a loose interlocking pattern where she attempted to retie my hair; while there were also sections where locs were completely untouched. I let her know immediately, and she told me I could return the next day. But first she had me send a video and we were able to speak. I sent a video showing me squeezing the loose locking pattern that was in my crown area. Because she told me that she wasn't exactly sure how she could make (any of) it better, we both thought that shampooing my hair would be the determining factor to confirm if I would actually need to return or not. One shampoo (3 days after the appt) confirmed that I would, and when I returned for a do-over, she only scheduled enough time to correct the back of my hair leaving my crown and perimeter completely un-touched. My hair is thin and my density is low. I'm at the stage where my locs are now heavier than the hair is growing out of my scalp. So when when I text her a video of the hanging locs (on my crown and perimeter) that she never addressed during the do-over, I could not BELIEVE that she never responded. It is a HORRIBLE place to find yourself in especially when you have hair that resides in a constant state of vulnerability. It's disgusting to have a hair stylist leave your hair worse off than it was when you walked in, rush you out of their chair twice and then vanish when they know they did not complete the service that you paid for. I will never understand how a "master cosmetologist" can stand over your head and ignore the new growth, unstable locs and the mess that they've have created, and then have the nerve to ghost you. I spent $280 for half a retie with Belinda and then paid an additional $180 to have the other half done. That's $460 and my hair still isn't back to normal. One star is too generous.
