I received an email on Jan 19 that the flowers had been delivered. When I arrived to the funeral home on the day of the funeral, the flowers had not been delivered. I immediately contacted Avas and was connected to their "bot" system. I stated my flowers were not delivered and for the next 10 days, played a merry go round chase with their automated system and bots. No human interaction at all, except for the two voicemails left with invaild phone numbers. I received about 8 emails saying they had tried to contact me even though they had only contacted me two times, both times when I had my "Focus" on my phone. I finally got feedback last week, with the promise to refund me for both orders. My heartache was that these flowers did not get delivered for my dad's funeral and this played heavily during an emotional time. I gave them 2 stars only because they did promise a refund.

I ordered my girlfriend 2 dozen roses to be delivered next day 07/30. She did receive the flowers however it was only 1 dozen and I was charged for 2. The receipt on the order shows "One Dozen Roses - 24 Stems" which doesn't even make any sense. 24 stems means 24 roses, 2 dozen. Then I received an email at 3PM on 07/30, after the flowers were delivered, stating that my original order could not be fulfilled and that they were automatically going to send a new order for delivery 07/31. So aside from the fact that they only had one dozen roses delivered even though I paid for 2 dozen they also charged me a second time for the second order on 07/31 which I did not authorize. Now if they couldn't fulfill the original order for whatever reason, why would issue a second charge? This also seems like a pretty common issue with them. If you go to their customer service page one of the issues you can select is "I was charged twice for my order". So I was charged $178.66 twice for 1 dozen roses. Also forget about contacting their customer service. Trying to reach anyone at all has been the most frustrating and painful experience Ive had dealing with customer service of any kind. Once I would eventually get someone on the phone we would get disconnected and I would have to go through the painful process of trying to reach someone again. I will say that I am thankful that the actual floral designer that was fulfilling the order (Safeway lol) reached out to me directly because they were also confused by the second order they already fulfilled the day prior. They are sending out another dozen roses free of charge. Update: After spending 2 and a half hours trying to reach someone at Ava's flowers I finally got ahold of someone. They stated on their end they could not see the second charge and recommend I contact my bank. Save yourself the headache and avoid this service as much as humanly possible.
