Three days before my dad's funeral, I ordered two flowers orders to be delivered to the funeral home. The flowers were to be delivered on Jan 19, with his funeral being on Jan 20. I received an email on Jan 19 that the flowers had been delivered. When I arrived to the funeral home on the day of the funeral, the flowers had not been delivered. I immediately contacted Avas and was connected to their "bot" system. I stated my flowers were not delivered and for the next 10 days, played a merry go round chase with their automated system and bots. No human interaction at all, except for the two voicemails left with invaild phone numbers. I received about 8 emails saying they had tried to contact me even though they had only contacted me two times, both times when I had my "Focus" on my phone. I finally got feedback last week, with the promise to refund me for both orders. My heartache was that these flowers did not get delivered for my dad's funeral and this played heavily during an emotional time. I gave them 2 stars only because they did promise a refund. read more

The page prior to this page showed the total as being a little over $60. Then I get to the final page after having gone through the entire process and it takes on a $25.44 "service" fee, after giving me a coupon for free delivery. This is the price for ONE bouquet. My employer sent flowers to my home, which was a very nice gesture. However, when I opened the pkg, I was a little thrown off because I've never known someone to receive a dozen roses and a box of chocolate covered strawberries as a "condolence." But, here we were. The outside of the box said, keep refrigerated, but the box was warm. The roses looked a little worse for wear, and the strawberries were a COMPLETE mess. The strawberries were mushy and the chocolate was completely melted. It was a disgusting mess. I let my boss know because it's not cheap to send flowers...and chocolate covered strawberries! About five or six weeks later, I received another pkg. This time it came from another popular flower company. This was a more appropriate gift....an orchid.
