There can be on weekend Friday and Saturday just depends if there's a band or disco on. Phone up and ask Daniel or Angie what's happening at the weekend

Do they allow smoking inside?

No they don't, but there's an outside patio if you must smoke.

How is the taxi service there?... we will need a ride back to our hotel if we come there next week when we are in Pigeon Forge visiting

I'm not entirely sure on how taxis are here, but Uber and Lyft are both in the area!

Are kids welcome?

Yes! We are local and bring our children. You will find that several families bring children during the lunch/early dinner hour, especially on the weekend. Great spot, atmosphere and excellent bartenders - Daniel rocks!

For an app, we got the beer, cheese fondue that came with apples, bread and pretzels. The beer cheese had a little bit of ooomph to it, which was refreshing because usually I'm not a big mustard person. The pretzel bites were incredible crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The apples were fresh all around the appetizer for 3 to 4 people so we took extra home. I ordered the 10 ounce sirloin cooked, medium with the web sweet potatoes and a side Caesar salad for a three dollar charge which ended up being a full-size salad! It was super fresh and gigantic for a side salad. The steak was cooked perfectly, in the middle with an insane sear. Their house, butter that they put on it truly elevated the flavor profile. I tried the sweet potatoes mashed and they were enjoyable, but I do not enjoy a sweet side with my food so I knew I was going to donate them to my husband and he said they were incredible, the flavor was definitely there just not my cup of tea, but I knew that from the beginning . He got the Caesar salad with grilled chicken! It had so much flavor and tastes incredible but yet melted in your mouth it was the most tender chicken I've ever had in my life, and the flavor was all there! Not even the slightest bit of any kind of dryness. One of the best bites of chicken I've ever had.! I understand having the food come out all at once, but to have dinner take 2 hours is insane. My food wasn't even hot, but I was so hungry I ate it without even saying anything. It was good but if they knew they needed everything done and something is cooked MR, maybe cook it towards the end. I ordered a 3rd drink but then everyone was done, and getting cleared, and I didn't see the server again. So I decided to go to the bar and cancel the drink myself. Over all, all the food was tasty, the service wasn't HORRIBLE, but they need stronger servers for larger parties and ones that are more attentive. The food was not hot, and we were there for 3 hours for this experience. If I ever go back. It will be alone or with one other person. There is no way I am having a dinner take 3 hours and have my food cold. I know it's standard for large parties, but gratitude was included, so make sure you are aware/ look to see on your check before you decide to leave even more.

I ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes appetizer only to have it delivered with batter so thick you could not find the tomato, and the batter had a fishy taste like the grease had also been used for frying fish. They were just not edible. When the waitress came to ask us how we enjoyed them, I told her there was too much batter and the grease tasted fishy. She didn't say a word, turned and walked away. You could tell her "How was it?" Inquiry was automatic and not a genuine concern for how the customers were enjoying the meal. It didn't get better. My grilled pork chops were tough, overcooked, and lacking any flavor. I could only eat one of the two provided. The pinto beans lacked any seasoning, but the coke slaw was good. My wife's pork chop was fried, and was better. It was cooked as it should have been. But her Mac and cheese was gummy and had an odd flavor. The cornbread was dry and not good. A friend who ate with us had Country Fried Steak. He said the steak was passable, but the gravy was disappointing. No onions at all in the gravy. This was not a good eating experience, and with the waitress's attitude, it was an almost a total flop. The sign at the entrance tells it all.

We stopped into Bluffs to celebrate my fiancés birthday. It seemed like a mild environment, although I was disgusted fairly quickly from the cleanliness of the bar and the sanitation procedures from the staff. We never seen anyone wipe a single thing our entire experience. We decided to stay and try make the most of the night. The evening went well until it was apparently time for the so called establishment to close. So the manager (Lisa) starts shouting at the top of her lungs " Everybody get the f*** out!" We were slightly offended but found it comical. As we approached the exit we witnessed an altercation between one of the bartenders and a guest. The bartender was being restrained by other employees indicating he was threatening and trying to fight a customer . I pulled out my for for personal documentation and another employee the starting shoving me and yelled " You can get the f*** out too!" I then asked the absurd lady multiple times too not touch me as I continued to exit the building. Once we approached the exit door I was continued to be harassed by Ms. Absurd and she then fliped me a bird once i exited the building. There was a group of employees at the door smoking cigarettes so I requested to speak to a manager . A large gentleman then said " I am the manager, shut the f*** up!" Then another employee by the name of Chris Bond then asked me what my issue was. As I reported how the absurd lady had treated us he then said to me to "Grow a pair of balls!" From there I honestly flipped my lid and responded to the uneducated man " You need to show some f****** balls!" .That is when he decided to use his amateur mixed martial art skills, instead of professionalism . Chris then threatened me multiple times as fellow staff stood around and allowed him to provoke and threaten me. I have worked in the Pigeon Forge area for roughly 9 years and I have been to Bluffs multiple times and I am also a local football coach and restaurant manager my self. I will never go back to a place who treats loyal guest with zero respect. Not only did I feel extremely unwanted, it unfortunately ended with me not feeling safe for my self or my companions or even for the staff. As a place who poorly manages alcohol, they should not be provoking or threatening guest in any manner. What an upset. This place is a Hippotitis shot and a murder case just waiting to happen. read more

This place is NOT tourist friendly! If you have a foreign ID, avoid this place. After ordering our drinks, the waitress asked for our IDs. She said she could not accept foreign ID and she asked for the passport. No problem, our friends showed their passport and instead of checking the date of birth she started to check his Visa. She wanted to know "if was valid". Even though we were arguing that she does not have the right to check people's Visa status she was still saying that the ID must be issued in the US (but ignoring the fact that passports are valid forms of ID). Bars must verify if you are 21yo, not your status in the country. That was the most pathetic thing I've ever seen. I don't know what kind of policy is that. Waitresses are not immigration agents. They apparently want to keep only the locals in that bar. We finally got our stuff and spent our money somewhere else. Being in a touristic area, having our documents checked by a waitress-agent left us with an uncomfortable sensation after a great day in the city. This place is pathetic. I went over the weekend with my friends and we ordered some beers. The waitress asked for our IDs, we showed her our documents, and she couldn't accept all of them as some of them were not issued by the state, even though some of them were issued by a federal government. Until that point we tolerated. However, when one of my friends showed her his passport, she started to see his Visa and check if it was not expired. Even if it would have been, why would she do that? Bars, Pubs and Clubs are only supposed to verify you are not underage. That's it. Period. It took us less than 10 min to realize we will never even try to go again. read more

I took my daughter and her boyfriend to dinner here on a Saturday night while on a mini-vaca last weekend. I came from KY and she lives in NC. We wanted to watch NCAA tourney and I found this place on YELP!!! The Guys working there were fantastic especially the tall guy that bet us a drink if we could figure out what a sign meant and we couldn't Google. After eating the best burger and drinking really cold beer we figured out the sign. Psst....Tall dirty blond guy - my daughter cheated hahaha. We will def be back and we owe you a drink. Some short red headed girl barely waited on us. Ignored us to text and talk to another tall blonde girl. Burger claimed to be the best around, which it lacked on flavor and was uncooked so I barely touched it. Beer was kind of warm and was surprised no music was on. The unique thing about the chili was that it had beans in it which I am not typically used to but it complimented the chili and diced onions well. The only downside was that it didn't come with cheese. I also ordered a Sierra Nevada citrus wheat ale pint and it was ice cold and hit the spot. The establishment seems to have some kind of marketing agreement with Southern Comfort (the booze), so it was not entirely clear whether menu items with "Southern Comfort" in their names had to do with the name of the establishment or the name of an ingredient. My wife had the Low Country Wedge Salad. We both like a good wedge salad, and this certainly qualified. This one, instead of the more typical diced tomatoes had sliced apricots. I think having that change in the fruit portion of the salad is a nice change-of-pace. (BTW, I can't imagine why more restaurants don't offer a Wedge Salad, because there are approximately no materials or labor costs involved in putting it on a plate, but it does require an excellent blue cheese dressing.) I had the Slow-Smoked Pulled Pork with Southern comfort BBQ Sauce. I thought that the pork and sauce were decent, but not outstanding. The fries were the style with a coating that allows a restaurant to make them crispy if they don't know how to make crispy fries. I enjoyed them well enough, though I have been pretty much disappointed with the state of French Fries everywhere I've been in Tennessee, with a singular exception. We ended with the Southern Comfort Beignets, which were good enough, but nothing like some of the better beignets we've had. All in all, an OK place to eat if you are staying at the resort and don't feel like driving into town for something better.
