Hands down, this was the best experience from any service or repair shop! They may have just gained a new customer for life. I got sick of the Audi dealership's BS selling tactics and the constant pressure from other import service centers harassing me by text, email and phone. I always felt like I was being taking advantage of, which is why I started to search for a new shop online. I found Bluewater Performance which had incredible reviews so I decided to give them a try - even though their location is ~1 hour away. I'm grateful I did and would recommend them to anyone looking for an Audi (or European) repair specialist. I worked with Jaryd and Colton who were both incredibly professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They have exceptional service skills. I took my car in for an oil change and oil leak. They kept me informed of their progress and set expectations for potential future work - answering all of my questions. I also appreciated that they provided me with general price estimates so I can plan and save accordingly. I felt they were honest and reasonably priced, which is a breath of fresh air. A friend with a VW recommended that I look at Bluewater Performance when my Golf was ready for it's 40K check-up. The team there was AMAZING, and I will be going there for all scheduled maintenance (and any mishaps) from here on. I appreciate how they quoted me precisely for the oil change and air filter replacement in advance, and they did a very thorough check on the rest. They did not do anything on the VW maintenance list that was not necessary (for example, they checked my tires but determined I was not ready for a rotation). For this reason, my 40K check-up was $200 less than I was quoted at the dealership. I have a few more issues that need repair, but they may be covered under my extended warranty. The team at Bluewater Performance recommended that I contact the dealership for those repairs. I appreciate how they sent me in that direction. Well as a first time customer I can safely say I have found my shop. Anything that goes wrong with my vw I will be bringing it to blue water. I had brought my car in due to a misfire and once I walked in everyone greeted me and made me feel welcome, so instantly I was sold on their customer service. Then once they ran a diagnostic they came out and told me instantly what was the issue and assured me that they were fairly certain that the steps they were going to take would fix the issue, and if not it's a step in the right direction. Now the price holy crap you can't beat it for what work and parts were used and I told them no rush yet the next morning I receive a phone call ensuring me the car was good to go and informed me that an additional part was needed and instead of forcing it on me they suggested it. I own a 2018 VW Alltrack, 6 sp manual. Strictly stock, the car was a fun sport wagon, but "weak in the knees." VW has done this often for the US (except the R and GTI) in that the US suspension is too soft for my taste. Bluewater helped find both German Variant R and US parts...shocks, springs and a rear sway bar...which have transformed the car. It is much, much more stable at high freeway speeds, and even in town, there is more feeling in the car. It took awhile, during Covid, to obtain all the parts, but the wait was worth it...its truly a sport wagon now. BW did fine work. I plan to continue the transition from the somewhat wimpy US Alltrack to something closer to the Variant R and some more power, (and probably clutch) are next. I was ignorant to get my APR tune flashed by my closest dealer. One call with these guys, and I know I will be doing the rest of my flashes and mods with them. I spent like $200 extra on labor and other bs getting the APR Stage 1 flashed to my car yesterday and these guys wouldn't have charged for any of that it looks like... After stuff already was going wrong with my Stage 1 on my CC, Jaryd on the phone basically saved me a ton of money off the bat by telling me what to buy and how to approach the problem so that I could save the diagnostic fee and labor costs of getting it into their shop. He talked to me for like 10 minutes... It's hard to find customer service like this for auto repair. These guys have it. read more

I brought my MK7 GTI in for 40k mile service and it was great. Nice waiting area with wifi so I could get some work done. I didn't get any mods done, but when the time comes, I'll be back. One of the best aspects of the visit was the excellent communication setup. All estimates, quotes, approvals, receipts, etc... are automated via email. This leaves little to no room for misunderstandings regarding what you're asking for, what they think you're asking for, and how much it'll all cost.
