My 6-year-old's lips turn blue after spending more than about 20 minutes in the main pool because of how cold it is. The only area that is really appropriate for him to practice swimming is adult-only for the majority of the day, with only a very limited window for children--and during that window, we're now being told the pool is at capacity. We've also had multiple negative interactions with both front desk staff and lifeguards who have been unnecessarily rude and unhelpful. A previous reviewer made an assessment that I now completely agree with: if you're an older adult, this rec center may be a great fit, as the programming and pool schedules seem heavily geared toward adults. If you have a young family and are looking for a place to work out and swim with your children, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
