Bluestone Lane Brekkie Board and coffee

Friendliest, most attentive service ever. They open early (maybe reconsider the 7 am ABBA?!) and provided a perfect place to attend to early-morning work emails while enjoying a delicious breakfast. I love that the "Brekkie Board" provided a combo of half-orders of yogurt/fruit/granola AND avocado toast, so I didn't have to choose. Also I don't know what is the secret behind their avocado toast but it's one of the best I ever had. Twice! I'll be back when I return to Philly for work.

    Black coffee and butter croissant

The staff was busy where I visited this establishment, but they unfortunately lost my order. I ordered a black cup of coffee and a butter croissant. The croissant was great as I ate it while waiting on my beverage. I waited for about 15 minutes before I approached the counter and asked about my order and they couldn't find the ticket.... The staff made it right- but I can't help to think what would have happened if I didn't speak up.

Stopped here for a mid-day coffee break and I thinkni might come back. I'm the spirit of the holidays I ordered a ppumpkin spice latte and it was so smooth lol. I it's hard to find a place that makes a perfect pumpkin spice. Service was pretty good. We didn't wait long to get our order at all.

Bluestone Lane was one of the first spot my coworkers and I went to together when I landed. They are an Australian coffee chain. Our original plan was to get breakfast here, but none of us say anything we wanted to eat on the menu so we just got drinks, and headed elsewhere for food. My coworkers had an Iced Chai Latte and a Flat White and I couldn't resist getting a seasonal Pumpkin Spice Aussie Iced Latte. We all enjoyed our drinks. My Pumpkin Spice Aussie Iced Latte came with a pleasant scoop of ice cream in it. Yummm... I liked it so much I ended up choosing this spot for a meeting later during the week when I reordered the same drink. My colleague ordered a Cappuccino and also complimented the coffee. They mentioned being hungry, but after glancing at the menu also decided not to eat here. So my first drink tasted a lot better than my second drink, so something about the way they were made was inconsistent. Also the food menu has room for improvement. The food price was also on the high side for not being anything too desirable.

Wow, so much better than the usual type place. We won't mention the name. The drinks are great and staff are very friendly. I must say for the very short time Beas able to be in here the experience was great. One of the workers explained this is not just a Philly or east cost coffee place they are across the US.

Just arrived into Philly and needed something light for my wife to have not to be hungry before our busy afternoon. We found this place in Yelp, and it looks fancy from the outside but is so homey inside. Blue and white colors are very inviting. We went with an iced latte with vanilla and oat milk, and ai had an earl grey tea with vanilla and low fat milk. The server brought my wife a nice tall glass and, for me, a tea kettle with the tea steeping. and the vanilla and milk on the side. We shared a gluten-free banana bread with a side of ricotta and berry's. very tasty and wonderful service. Sorry, not the prettiest photo as my wife could not wait to eat!

Bluestone lane is a cafe where you can bring people to sit and chat. The atmosphere is pleasant and has more seating than most cafes in the rittenhouse area. You can go in for just a coffee or make it a whole brunch! Their coffee is brewed nicely and they have many specialty drinks like their Aussie iced latte (pretty much a milkshake with coffee!) I love getting their soft chili scramble since it's loaded with food and flavor. Their athletes burrito is also a classic for me and protein heavy. I love coming to blue line, it hasn't disappointed!

Stopped by Bluestone Lane and got the iced chai--it looked promising, but it ended up tasting pretty watery. Not bad, just lacked that bold, spicy flavor & creaminess I was hoping for. Might give it another shot, but this one didn't quite hit.

    Athletes Burrito

This was a difficult choice. Was it 3 star? Was it 4 star? We really liked the athletes burrito - it was hearty and well balanced. The cappuccino was a hit. But the gluten free banana bread - for the cost we expected a lot more pecans (there were maybe 4 tiny bits) and the edible flowers as advertised. I liked the bread but my dining partner hated it, sharing that it was grainy and didn't really have a banana flavor. It was ok but was certainly not worth the cost. The cafe itself was really nicely decorated. It felt open yet charming, with lots of windows. The wait staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We'd totally return for the athletes burrito and cappuccino!

Was staying quite nearby and needed a good spot to work for an hour or so, and Bluestone hit the spot. Love their easy ordering system and the layout of the cafe - great for group dates and and remote workers alike. I went with a really yummy breakfast bowl and a cold brew. The cold brew truly saved me after a night of not sleeping well and was also super delicious. The breakfast bowl was also really tasty and I appreciated the customization options I could add directly while order online. This is a great location with an open kitchen and the staff is all fabulous as well. Recommend if you're in need of a quick morning pit stop!

The latte and iced long black were what we ordered. Let's just say, we had to throw them away because they were undrinkable. They were awfully bitter and bland. They were intolerable to drink they were that bad tasting.

    Green baked eggs

I wanted to love bluestone lane, but my first experience (delivery take out) sort of fell flat. What I ordered: Green baked eggs - With Chimichurri being a focal point, or at least a menu mention, I envisioned layers of flavors throughout every bite, but that wasn't the case. To be honest, not sure I tasted any Chimichurri at all, or salt nor pepper. Overall the dish lacked flavor. The feta cheese was yum, but there wasn't enough of it. Only on the top of the eggs, with most of it ending up as spillover stuck to the aluminum tray the eggs are baked in. The toast served with the entree was the highlight for me. I added a side of avocado to my green baked eggs, and just made my own avo toast as the eggs left a little to be desired. I'm still open to trying out a dine-in experience at Bluestone lane, but I'd definitely order something else.

I don't think I've ever visited an an hour where I've seen it not. Often a line going from the counter, down the stairs, all the way to the bathroom. If you're looking for a quick coffee stop, don't expect to be in and out of here. That being said, they've got some kinds of seating not typical of coffee shops, including this nice long U-shaped couch seating. You'll be around with other folks reading or enjoying their joe, but it's a nice change of pace. Working-wise, wi-fi is solid. Outlets are sparse. Hard to stay a long time here. Music is at least at a tolerable level to tune out and is not usually too bumping. Staff here are quick, but won't be the friendliest. They won't be rude either. They're just trying to get through the line so don't take it personally Overall: would much prefer other places like Capital One Cafe for the reasons I visit cafes, but I can see this being a nice place for other more leisurely-natured visits!

It is a very small shop, so there are only a few tables inside, along with a few outside depending on the weather. Although small, the interior is clean and cozy. A single restroom is available. The drinks are delicious - definitely recommend their matcha. The pastries are huge, flavorful, and filling. Slightly dry but I did go right before closing. They have a nice variety of flavors (both sweet and savory), so most palettes will be satisfied. Prices are definitely fair. If I weren't just a traveler passing through, this would easily become a regular spot for me. It's at least on the "must return to" list! 10/10 recommend.

We braved negative degree weather for the roughly 10 minute walk from our hotel. We walked in at a good time. This is the type of place where a reservation for breakfast would be required. We were sat immediately. The dining area is tight. A green velvet bench, marble tables, metal chairs, all packed into a small area. You could very well have your butt brush over the table of the patrons next to you if you have to get up for any reason. It's tight. Our server was around quickly. He was super friendly and kept things conversational, light and sophisticated. My wife ordered an iced latte, I had their hot drip coffee. For a starter, we had to try the cinnamon knot bread. While it wasn't what we were expecting, it was good. Although, we wouldn't order again. The bread is presented as a small loaf, room temperature with a cold cream cheese icing drizzled over top. The bread had a mild cinnamon flavor and was dry. It lacked the sweet, moist dough you expect from a cinnamon bread. My wife ordered the French style omelet. This had gruyere cheese and chives. Beautifully plated, perfectly cooked and the taste was spot on. It was good enough to forget that she paid $21 for just an omelet, no meat, no sides. I ordered the Eggs Benedict. Pretty standard here. The eggs had bright orange yolks which is common for farm fresh eggs. The "coffee" hollandaise didn't come across with a coffee flavor but it was rich and went well with the ham and English muffins. One thing that stuck with me was their drip coffee. Not sure if it has been a while since I had a light roast but the Rival Bros. Revolver coffee was so good, I got a bag of whole beans to bring back home with me. I may even order it again online. Enswell succeeded on all fronts. The ambiance and service was great. The decor, impeccable. The food, thoughtful and tasty. The details from the silverware to the plates added to the experience. We would come back.

I'd much rather come back for a simple fried egg combo and chedda cheese. I was also offered sparkling water, but I do wish it had more fizz. The service start to finish was superb in friendly and fast service. I'd come back for mimosa/bar for sure.
