Adorable cafe with lots of seating inside, a few seats outside. I got a premade turkey sandwich on a croissant that the barista offered to heat up for me which was yummy. Pretty standard - turkey, lettuce, tomato, onion, honey mustard. I love the overall aesthetic in here, especially the plants and stained glass windows. They have a water refill station too which I love. I'd say it's an ok place to work on your laptop, I didn't see many outlets but it was empty on a Wednesday afternoon which made it easy. My iced oat chai latte was solid. Experience was subpar. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was quite crowded. There were two remaining barstool seats at the counter but this pair had grabbed the middle two (there are four total stools). We were hoping we could have them scoot down and we could use those seats, so I politely asked. The woman looked at me crazily and asked where she would put her bag (one of the seats had one of her many bags on it) and then went on and on cursing about how we can go outside or across the street somewhere and find a seat. I didn't realize random bags were prioritized over people but hello 2025. So we exited. read more

I had coffee here yesterday. It was fine. As mentioned in other reviews the service was unsmiling and brusque, ( a rather sour-faced guy behind the counter). Everyone looked miserable-it had a sort of morgue feeling. Very hard, uncomfortable chairs. I wouldn't rush back. read more

Let me start out by saying how much I love the staff at green line. They are all super friendly and fantastic. The sandwiches here are tasty and affordable (around 5-6$). Most of the sandwiches and salads are seasonal which is a little sad when you get in a groove with an amazing salad for lunch every day and then they take it off the menu...But I can live with that because usually it's replaced with something equally good. Finally, this place has amazing bagels, the best I think I've had in the city. I think they are vegan or gluten free, it doesn't matter, they are so good. The problem is, they have a cream cheese problem. They use those little takeaway tubs of cream cheese. It's almost a sin to have a bagel so good and the only option of cream cheese be that tasteless nonsense. I would kill for some homemade scallion cream cheese. Hopefully someone will read this and consider the change. Also, if you go here, try their homemade cookies. Amazing! read more

A great little neighborhood cafe, good coffee and a good variety of little bites to eat. About average seating by the counter with plenty of sunlight coming in through the windows. There's also a quaint little back room where my group pulled a few tables together and caught up. They keep it simple here, and most often there's only one or two employees here at a time, but be patient it's part of the process. This place absolutely get's the job done if you need spot to sit for a few, have a cup of coffee and get some work done. Usually pretty quiet with a nice vibe over there. My advice: if you get the bagel, you might think you only need the one cream cheese when they ask if you want two? You want two. Trust. read more

The customer service is definitely something that can improve. The duo that was working on Saturday, August 24, 2024 around 12:30pm was very rude and unwelcoming to my friend and I. To begin, my friend got a breakfast sandwich, but all of their food is purchased prepackaged and kept in the refrigerator. Since we wanted to eat and drink in the cafe, my friend asked if the employees could warm her sandwich. The person working the register hesitated then said yes with an attitude. As we are sitting waiting for my friend's sandwich to be warmed, the other person working started talking loudly about his opinions of iced vanilla chai lattes. It is important to mention that my friend and I order iced vanilla chai lattes. I can understand that everyone has different taste buds and not everyone likes the same things. I think it is very rude talk loudly about your distaste of a drink right after a customer ordered said drink and are sitting right next to the coffee bar. I definitely think some customer service training to your employees is needed. read more

Went into the shop and they told me I needed to step outside and they were online accepting online orders. Instead of telling me how to order online, they simply said the instructions are outside. My doctors office is across the street from this cafe, so usually if I am early for my appointment I will grab a quick drink. Every time I have been to Green Line Cafe, I have had a bad experience. Yesterday it took 10 minutes just to get a bottle of water. The staff moves extremely slow. I overheard an employee telling a customer that they have recently changed their staffing needs and that only one employee will be working at a given time. I do not recommend going to this cafe if you are in a rush/don't have the time to stand in line for 10 minutes just to get a bottled beverage. I have given this cafe multiple opportunities to change my mind, but am disappointed constantly. I will not be back. read more
