Had the truffle mushroom grilled cheese! So good! Crunchy outside but still soft inside sourdough bread with a good balance of cheese and mushroom. They gave TOO many chips, I would opt to swap or upgrade for a salad next time.

My new favorite coffee spot in the city. We hosted a work event here and absolutely loved it. The coffee was amazing. The food was very good. Highly recommend the salmon toast as well as the spicy wrap. Lastly the staff were so helpful and kind. A rarity in San Francisco.

Located in the financial district of San Francisco. Decided to have a quick coffee date with an old coworker and she told me this opened up years after I left. I love a good cup of mocha and they sure had it! They even add cute coffee art on it They're coffee and food is Australian based and the they have toast and sandwiches in which they call them "bites". I tried their avocado toast and added an egg which was tasty & fresh. Their healthy smoothies look refreshing and can't wait to try the Bondi Blue smoothie which is inspired by their Aussie coast! The staff are friendly. There are cozy seats if you want to stay and work or just smell the coffee beans.

Lots of seating, nice place to catch up with a friend. Clean bathroom. The WiFi is always having issues, so I wouldn't recommend it for doing work that requires high speed Internet. If you can hotspot or connect to a public WiFi, then this might be your place. Order at the kiosk. Workers are nice. I enjoyed my beet latte and avocado toast with the lot. Would come again to try their other drinks.

Cold Brew

My go to place when I need a quick cup of coffee before I head to work. Baristas are friendly and very quick to make drinks. I'd say this location is reliable and consistent with their coffee. I only ever get the Cold brew or cold brew float. Both solid options. Plenty of seating inside + some outside seating.

Love Bluestone Lane for its healthy menu and bright and colorful aesthetic! We got a Sunshine Burrito and Clean and Lean Protein Bowl without the salmon and they were both yummy and filling! We also got a Lavender Matcha latte which was very refreshing! It's very relaxing to come here for brunch and I'm glad they have so many vegetarian options to try! Will be coming back whenever I need some healthy brunch options!

First stop on our work trip to San Francisco. My partner and I got in a few hours of work at Bluestone while waiting to check into our hotel. Not sure if I've ever been to one of these locations, but Avocado Toast and Iced Magic seemed like the perfect welcome back to the Bay. We ordered from the two mobile kiosks, though we could have done it faster from the counter. Eye roll. Both were tasty. Solid coffeeshop to visit with strong Wi-Fi connection.

Takeaway: the Magic.

Coffee drinks are strong if preferred but are still good. Also, sweet drinks are not as sweet as other cafes and coffee shops but may adjust. Their breakfast smoothies are pretty substantial so be aware how much can drink. The hot oatmeal for breakfast as well. Could be pricey compared to other chains though. The interior is bright and clean looking with windows sunlight lit. Multiple seating areas (high chairs, mini communal, long sofas, or outdoor sidewalk seatings). Good location if not familiar with the area, downtown and SOMA (I still won't call this area the East Cut, nope), and a block from Montgomery Bart Station/ Market St.

I've always loved Bluestone Lane for their coffee & breakfast items and am very glad I came across this store right in soma! It's a decent sized location on 2nd street in the KPMG building- not very busy during work hours both times I've been here which is nice. There is lots of seating, great lighting, free wifi (although sometimes hard to connect to), and bathroom available. The one thing that is slightly less convenient is the lack of parking nearby as is the case in most of SF so it's not a restaurant-specific problem. There are metered parking but just gotta test your luck!

Bluestone lane at the Avery is the best location for a weekend sit down coffee and/ or lunch. The coffee is, as usual, really fragrant and delicious. The eating area is spacious and nicely furnished, they also have a patio area that is away from the road down the cute alley with fairy lights. I appreciate that it's not near any traffic or pedestrians. The only downside is that they seem to always be understaffed and food takes 30 minutes to arrive so be prepared. It definitely feels like they prepare the online orders before they do the in dining orders because the pick up table is always full of unclaimed and cooling coffees. And for this reason alone, I would recommend making online to go orders before heading there.

I come here often because I work nearby. I spell my name out and they choose to put anything other than my name on my drink.

There was a lot of natural light in the coffee shop, definitely a visually-appealing, 'aesthetic' place. I got an iced red tea and it was delicious. The tea was botanical, smooth and fragrant. Amazing experience! Excited to come back and try the coffee and pastries, which looked super fresh.

It seems like there's also an upstairs but did not get the chance to check it out. I got an iced latte with their almond macadamia milk, and they're also so nice to do complimentary cold brew! So we got an extra drink for free. Trying the iced latte, it was pretty disappointing lol. I thought it would be similar to like a Hawaiian style latte with macadamia milk, but it was a lot lighter than I thought. It was definitely very nutty, but it also just tasted like water down latte. Honestly not much going on with the drink, but it does taste lighter in general. Crazy have to pay $1.50 more to add on this milk. Overall, its alright. I do like the natural lighting coming into the shop, but nothing too special.

OUI OUI!!! i got the banana and plain croissants as well as pancake kouign amann. all a bit too sweet for my taste but pretty buss. i love the crunchy flaky sugariness of the kouign amann - i can see why it's so popular. the custard and jam (??) combo was super balanced. also the banana croissant has REAL banana instead of a weird pastry cream or something. wow! so great and not artificial! (i sound like an american health influencer...oh wait i am american) however i wish my pastries were toasted. also i wish they were less sweet. the plain croissant did not have top-tier crazy bone-shaking lamination, i wish it was flakier. sorry i have a lot of wishes. unfortunately big B may not be able to satisfy them. i wish i can go back to try the black sesame one but i'm too broke and i have an astronomically low attention span so i can't wait in line

Since Stonemill opens at 10 AM, I arrived around 9:40 AM. Shortly afterwards, a long line started to form behind me. Once inside, my friend and I placed our matcha orders and were seated in a cozy nook by the window. Despite the steady flow of customers throughout the morning, our drinks were brought out in about ten minutes. My matcha latte with oat milk was served in a large ceramic mug, and it was certainly one of the smoothest matcha lattes I've had in SF (where there is no shortage of contenders!). The matcha itself was slightly earthy, and the latte had a hint of sweetness to balance the flavor. I did not order food this time, but I saw several people around us order the Japanese breakfast set and matcha cream pie, which I will have to try on my next visit. Despite the constant line to enter the cafe, the ambiance inside remained relaxed and welcoming, perfect for savoring our matcha.

Getting a pretty basic, straight forward matcha or hojicha beverage is always a good way to tell how a store's quality of matcha is. Of course just a plain matcha like usucha is a better way of telling but I like mine with oat milk. Upon first sip of the matcha latte, I could tell immediately that the matcha quality is of very low grade. It was extremely bitter even with the oat milk which was unfortunate. I sipped on it on my walk home and once I was back, I added more oat milk to the cup. That's how bitter it was! On the other hand, the hojicha latte was quite alright. Nothing to write home about but I didn't have to make my own alterations for that one. I'd come back for a hojicha latte but definitely not for their matcha. I can make it better at home..using a high quality powder.

What a shame, I don't expect 5 star service but simply splitting ice cream, giving me a spoon or just pay any attention to me as a customer would be enough for those tips that they asked upfront. Lesson learned, never again, although we are in this mall often.
