GORGEOUS rooftop restaurant on top of the InterContinental Miami. At here at a private event so I cannot speak outside of that. But not only was the food amazing, but the views were breathtaking. Very small, long (than wide) restaurant with beautiful views. Such a romantic and intimate place to eat for sure (if that's what you're looking for). I'd definitely come back here that's for sure! Glad I got the opportunity to eat here with wonderful human athletes

It was about 2:30 pm on a Monday, obviously during a slow time and shift change. I sat outside at the bar and it was VERY windy. I wouldn't sit outside next time unless the wind was more tame. It seems like a great place to relax and have snacks by the pool. I had a three cheese panini with a side Caesar salad. The panini was just what I needed. There wasn't too much bread and it was easy to bite through without leaving a lot of crumbs all over the place. It was super cheesy and the pesto was nice. It could have been melted just a bit more, though. The salad was covered in a creamy Caesar dressing. I liked it that way, but if you prefer a lighter dressing you should let them know. The service was friendly. I would definitely visit again.

Just sat down. Bartender not the friendliest but no biggie. Seemed to be agitated that I had a free drink ticket and asked what's in his well like I'm supposed to know. Yes, I know Ketel One is an upsell that's why I like it (top shelf). Vodka and cranberry juice taste like water. Ordered the Turkey Cuban, will see what that taste like but the interaction sitting down has already messed up the experience. Basic sandwich with processed meat. So that's that.

Simple fare on offer here (pizzas and salads) but with a spectacular panoramic view of the Port of Miami, Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. This absolute gem is located on the Pool/Spa level of the Intercontinental Hotel in Downtown Miami. On one side you have the sumptuous pool deck, on the other your ocean view. Ordered the Bianca Pizza which is a flatbread with lots and lots of prosciutto, freshly chopped tomatoes, olives and arugula. The bread was deliciously crisp and the flavors just melted together perfectly. While waiting we were brought a basket with a selection of fresh warm bread and had olive oil plates prepared for us for dipping. Service was excellent, friendly and fast which is important when working with a one hour lunchtime window. Definitely a place to bring out of town guests for a very impressive quick fresh lunch if you are in the downtown area, but be forewarned, the opening hours are SHORT: from noon - 3p.m. Monday - Sunday for food and from 11:30 a.m. - 6p.m. for the bar.

Friday night is Salsa Night! Salsa music & dancing. The weather, music & food was GR8! Recommend the Inter Continental Hotel!

We stayed at the Inter Continental Hotel the night b4 our 8 day southern Caribbean cruise. Heard about Salsa Night (6-10 every Friday night), and thought we'd check it out. Very happy we did. The Blue Water Cafe is located by the rooftop pool. Entrance is thru the spa. It was a picturesque evening. The weather was perfect, the music was awesome, and the food & drinks were gr8. What a way to start a vacation. We had a wonderful server, Xavier, who was friendly, helpful & fun! Wish we were down here again since it's Friday night! Highly recommend the Inter Continental Hotel & their amenities.

Awesome Oceanside restaurant with pool side view and yachts and jet skis in the background. Food was great. Service was excellent! The view is just out of this world. Welcome to Miami!

    A great combination!

Was hungry and there's this restaurant in our hotel, thought we'd try it out. It's truly a 4 star that match the rating for the hotel. Got this pizza that taste delish, crab cake sliders are good and their mojitos are awesome! The best part is the view and the pool.

    This is a $1,000,000 view!

Not currently open. We are staying at the hotel and this whole area is under construction on the 5th floor and there is no food or view!

I think they fit Miami well, and are slight twists in classic drink options. Our bartender was awesome. She was super knowledgeable and helpful in making recommendations as we decided what to order, and you can tell she really put effort into making sure the drinks were good. The drinks were really good! My only complaint is the price. Of course handcrafted cocktails are expensive, especially in Miami, but wow. The drinks were really small, and had so much ice that they ended up being not very many sips at all. They were definitely good, but the very small size for almost $20 a drink was kind of outrageous.

The bar was lit, poppin' and vibrant. We were waiting by the end of the counter where they checked out other patrons near the sitting area. We were overlooked many times... I locked eyes with one of the bartender and she completely looked away from me.. several times :( took about 15 minutes and we reached our arms out and flagged bartender Reilly. Her greeting and attention was genuine so I was happy to get her. Unfortunately, she got busy and we got the initial lady that ignored us. She was not kind, not attentive and didn't really want to help us - she was very fake. With that being said, we had to remind her of our drinks after 20 minutes of placing the order, in which she responded with an attitude "it's being made. We're busy" -_- -_- :( the attitude was not needed. We watched others that came in before us being served. :( I was completely annoyed and upset. She didn't even bring the drinks to us like the other bartenders were doing, she made us get it. Poor service from this one bartender while the others were happy and servicing their patrons. After our first drinks, I noticed she spoke to her colleague and he came over and asked if we wanted to close out.. . Wtf kicking us out? We said no and he opened a tab. When she noticed we were ordering more, she was a bit more attentive. So wrong. Luckily, the drinks were delicious. Perfect. We did end up coming back to the Lasseter and got a gentleman bartender that was so kind and attentive and made our drinks even better! The attention to detail and love he made in my drinks, so that is why I decided to make make this a 3 stars rather than two. He saved this place. The toilet sitting area is very warm, not very air conditioned properly so expect to be a little warm especially after a couple of sips. It's also the walkway to an actual big restrooms for the whole building. The drinks are VERY pricy but the setting is perfect and makes up for it. Unfortunately, the service was not up to par. Disney priced drinks without the Disney customer service. Do I want to come back? Yes. Am I going to be picky with the vibes coming from the bartender and chose who to go to? Also yes. Hopefully, I can increase the rating.

Make sure to check them out. Drinks are not watered down but always well-balanced and potent. My go-to is their Old Fashioned, of course, but I have a new favorite called Urban Cowboy. It's made with Maple Bacon Infused Maker's Mark, vanilla cinnamon syrup, bitters and cedar smoke. So good! I also recently tried the Red Flag made with Cazadores Blanco, lime, agave, strawberry-infused Aperol, and topped with bubbles. So refreshing and tasty. You cant go wrong with any of their cocktails. The mixologist knows what they're doing and as a matter of fact, this place has won several competitions during SOBEWFF. Anywayssss, when I caught the winds that there was a new sound bar in downtown, I NEEDED to be there. The concept of the sound bar is some type of Asian thing, I don't really know. But where in Asia there might be a few monks sitting around in silence listening to gongs or whatever, Miami goes BIG! Finding parking in downtown Miami on a Saturday is virtually impossible unless you bribe a valet servant with cash. So that's what I did. My ladyfriend and I arrived early to the sound bar, and there was already a hearty swarm of brodents and thots lined up to get in. Some crack head outside was shouting about IPA's. I told the door servant that I knew the DJ or something like that, and he let us right in. Once inside, the bar has that edgy big city, small hallway type of vibe. You could barely stand around in there, let alone get to the bar to order a drink. The mix of flapping gums and mixologists concocting cocktails made for a cacophonous distraction from the actual "music" we were there to "listen" to. My ladyfriend and I ducked out across the street to Black Market Miami Bar where the game was on and you could actually order a drink that didn't cost $50+. After a few libations, we headed back to Miami Sound Machine Bar (they need to put 'Miami' in every bar's name down here in case you forget where you are). There was a weird looking guy playing depressing vinyls with singing in different languages. I was more in the mood for something upbeat and groovy like salsa or merengue that I could dance to with my girls. Although I did hear the 12" Andrew Weatherall remix of Happy Mondays "Hallelujah" at some point, a staple at the Haçienda nightclub in Manchester - an institution that shook the music world and changed club culture forever. The head servant at the bar looked like Nirvana (yes, one man looking like a whole band). He was jaded and rude. I don't blame him! As the night wore on, the crowd got larger and more deplorable, and the room got smaller and smaller. I got stuck in an awkward conversation waiting to use the bathroom. I don't think sound bars are for me. Pros: The bar across the street had really fair drink prices, and the servants are polite and efficient. Cons: the ratchet yuppies that inhabit Miami's nightlife, always on the prowl to ruin a subculture with their tackiness.

The drinks are great, and the whole space has a cool, laid back energy that keeps us coming back. It's easily become one of our favorite spots to begin a night out in Miami. If you're looking for a chill place with great music, good drinks, and a unique atmosphere, this place is definitely worth checking out.
