I find them to be more effective for treating my severe back/neck issues. After waking up in pain this morning I feel very lucky to have found this place, because now after 90 minutes, I feel great! My therapist Julie was very efficient and didn't miss a spot. She asked me in the beginning if I preferred strong or medium pressure, and although she was a tiny woman, she delivered a powerful (strong) massage, just the way I like it! I also met Jennifer up at the front, which was so kind and pleasant, it was a nice ending to a wonderful treatment! I was pleased that as I left they gave me a stamp card to work towards a free treatment, and joyfully invited me back! Getting service like this is priceless, now add to that the fact that the cost of their treatments is so reasonable.....this place definitely shouldn't be missed!

He took the time to ask me plenty of questions to know exactly what type of massage would be best for me and even explained the differences between Swedish, deep tissue, and reflexology. He even made sure I liked the soft background music that was playing. I can't recommend him enough. I will 100% be back and I am definitely telling my friends to go as well. Aside from his professional pros he was also a pleasure to converse with and a very kind man. That might not matter to everyone but it does to me. Thanks K!

I first started seeing Francesca because of my chronic upper back pain and what was an actual hunch back due to me trying to desperately work the knots out on my own. My muscles were so tight they felt like bone... it was (k)not good. Getting the deep tissue massage with the cupping add-on with Francesca has been essential to my well being / self-care routine. She starts by asking you where you want her the focus on during the massage and has great table side manners. For who also suffer from the same pain - you gotta go regularly! The relief doesn't happen after one massage, it has to be a consistent practice! A nice benefit of the massage is that even though I'm not a member of the gym, I can use the sauna afterwards. The spa itself is extremely clean and quiet despite being next to the gym. Ultimately Francesca has been a god send. You know how the saying goes -- the best gifts come in small packages. Well this applies to Fran, who is small but mighty and can give a mean deep tissue massage. Also special shout out to Jared at the front desk. Whenever I've had scheduling or billing problems, he's consistently come to the rescue with great customer service and resolved any issues ease. I hope he always get green lights when he drives, the last sold out item on the shelf and a promotion.

So please bare in mind that this review is strictly for those who prefer to be massaged rather than just a quick easy rub down. Yesterday was my second visit to Spa H. I decided to give it a second chance after last times "Spa Week" debacle. Needless to say, I was even more let down this time. Upon arriving the girl at the front desk (who was friendly I might add) introduced to me to my therapist. It was a male. I had specifically requested a female. She then told me that the woman in question didn't realize she had to work today. That threw me for a loop as that showed me how out of practice with business techniques they are. You do not tell a customer that. Anyway, I agreed to let this 6'4 male massage me, but told him I preferred not to have my thighs rubbed. Needless to say it was the worst massage of my life. Thank God it was spa week and the cost was only 50 dollars for 45 minutes (usual costs are upward of 90+ and not worth it imo). From the second he put his hands on me I could tell he was NOT a massage therapist. Turns out, I was right. Hours later my friend went in for her appointment and was told her therapist was in a car accident and she too had a male masseuse who told her during the massage that he was actually a personal trainer and could help to train her for a triathlon. Huh? I'm getting a massage, not a fitness evaluation! My therapist was sick. I could tell this from about 20 minutes in. He was sniffling and it just made it awkward. I almost got up and walked out but I knew I would still be charged as their rules are very clear. He did nothing for my back, shoulders or legs...hell, my entire body feels like someone rubbed hot coals all over it. The only reason I would go back to this Spa is to enjoy their steam room and sauna. Which is the ONE plus they have going for themselves and the only reason I rated them 2 stars. Do yourself a favor. Find a different place. The prices are ridiculous for what they offer and the environment is not conducive to a relaxing massage. I've had better massages for 20 bucks in the mall.
