I showed the stylist a reference picture, and she completely understood the look I wanted. The session started with a nice hair wash, followed by the cut and blow-dry. The stylist did a great job -- my hair feels light, fresh, and styled just how I envisioned. They also offered tea, coffee, or other drinks as a kind gesture, which I really appreciated. The entire service took about 45 minutes on a Sunday, and I walked out happy with the result. The total cost came to $99 including tax, which felt a bit pricey to me for a haircut. There were two employees working on a Friday around noon. Both were working on clients who were also getting their eyebrows threaded when I arrived, but it was only a short wait. When it was my turn, they didn't clean the chair before having me sit down so it didn't feel very sanitary. The threading service itself was satisfactory. My technician was very gentle and it felt more comfortable than other times I've had my eyebrows threaded. After she was done, she applied aloe without asking me if I wanted it on my face. They have their price list printed and posted on the wall. They also have an addendum sign that notes that the price for threading has increased from $7 to $10. I'm not sure why they didn't simply adjust the original price list instead of displaying two different prices, because it definitely caused confusion. The client in front of me originally paid $7 and an employee had to ask her for the additional amount. The client understandably pointed to the original price list on the wall and they had to explain that new prices were in effect. The other client ahead of me apologized to the woman who did her eyebrows because she didn't bring enough cash to cover tip and the new, higher price. So overall, I got what I needed done, but their customer experience could definitely use some improvements.

I first started seeing Francesca because of my chronic upper back pain and what was an actual hunch back due to me trying to desperately work the knots out on my own. My muscles were so tight they felt like bone... it was (k)not good. Getting the deep tissue massage with the cupping add-on with Francesca has been essential to my well being / self-care routine. She starts by asking you where you want her the focus on during the massage and has great table side manners. For who also suffer from the same pain - you gotta go regularly! The relief doesn't happen after one massage, it has to be a consistent practice! A nice benefit of the massage is that even though I'm not a member of the gym, I can use the sauna afterwards. The spa itself is extremely clean and quiet despite being next to the gym. Ultimately Francesca has been a god send. You know how the saying goes -- the best gifts come in small packages.
