On Friday March 22nd I scheduled an appointment for my mother on the website for 11:00am-11:50am. I used a gift certificate to pay including tip totalling $200. Since they do not have a location on their website, I had assumed they were at 4000 Xchange apartments, only to be told they moved. After numerous phone calls and voicemails which went unanswered I went to their Rutherford location which was posted on their Facebook. Only to be told by building owner that they haven't been there in months. I paid for a service which was never received. I received a text an hour and a half later stating that "they are on the road now." The option to book at their location should not have been an option if it wasn't available. I received no phone call or apologies for their mistake. I would like my refund credited to my card. After this experience I have no intention of using them again. This could have been easily avoided had someone called to rectify this matter. read more

Where do I begin... I absolutely love booking with Spa O, I initially came in with friends for a spa party my first time around, I honestly enjoyed the customer service provided by owner herself Lisa. My second time, I set up a spa party for my cousins birthday again Lisa and her staff were all very welcoming, we had access to our own lounge area, in which was catered we had food and drinks. Along with access to the sauna, steam room, pool, and jacuzzi, Beverly was incredible she had everything ready for my guests and I robes and towels and gave us a tour of the facility and just made our experience quite enjoyable. Durning our spa party we had facials and massages, Lisa was part of the magical hands who provided services, everyone who had her couldn't stop raving. I had Ely and wow he's phenomenal. I returned for a third time this past week and he brought me back to life, if you're reading this review don't hesitate and book asap! We came here last Saturday. My friend booked here to celebrate another friends 50th birthday after seeing it on RHONJ. The night before we read some of the reviews and already decided it was not going to be good. Boy were we mistaken. We had the best time. First it's a little difficult to find. Its in a luxury residential complex. When you find the building you need to park in the garage and the front desk will send you to the 4th floor. While the residents do share the space our party was still pretty private. No other spa guests were booked for our time slots. There were 7 of us. Our services started at 4. We got there at 3 to decorate. We ordered food originally from their vendor Eve however after multiple emails back and forth Eve realized she had the wrong date and couldn't accommodate us. My friend had to scramble to find another one of Spa O approved vendors. Thankfully Sangria de Cookie was able to accommodate her. It was $20 more per person total of $75 each, a little pricey for what you got but she did a great job. When we arrived she was putting the finishing touches on her set up. We were shown to our private room which had floor to ceiling windows and a beautiful rose wall. We were then given a tour of the facilities. They were super clean. So far we are very impressed. Beverly was our host for the day. She was wonderful. She catered to our every need. They gave us a speaker to play our music. It was a party! Music playing, drinks flowing. We went in 2 at a time for our massages. At no point did we ever feel rushed. I had Ely. He was awesome. My friend who does not like massages had him too and loved it. She said it was amazing. While some were getting massages the rest of us were using the pool, hot tub and sauna. There were a couple of other people (residents) using the facilities too but they were super nice. The place is big so we had plenty of room. Also you have to keep in mind if you went to another spa there would be other clients using the amenities. We were the only clients! I don't know where else you can book a private room, get a massage, use the pool, hot tub, sauna, drink and eat for $200 a person. We had an amazing time and we will definitely be back. read more

Booked a spa party but I felt far from relaxed. They promote use of pool, sauna and jacuzzi. The jacuzzi and steam room were out of order. Staff weren't helpful at all. The worse part is the pool is shared with residents of the apartment complex. The residents were rude. Pros: massage was great and owner was extremely kind in listening to our issues. So I decided to visit this particular spa because I'd seen them featured on this season of RHONJ. At first, I was extremely turned off. There's no explanation of how to get to the spa (it's on the 4th floor of an apartment complex) and the front desk is awful. Once I got past the kids taking swimming lessons at the pool right next to the spa, I was introduced to Ely, who was my masseuse (I booked a full body scrub and an 80 min massage). The scrub was in an overly bright room and they gave me the smallest towel. Definitely wasn't a great setup. BUT, oh baby, the body scrub was GOOD! After the scrub, I was taken to another room (MUCH better ambiance) for the massage. The massage table was heated, the room was dim; definitely more of a spa experience. My massage was so so so so good. Once again, Ely was fantastic and very kind. Can't give this place the extra 2 stars because of the ambiance and terrible front desk service (she never looked up from her phone to greet me or say goodbye as I left). My cousin planned a whole spa day with my closest friends at Spa O. Odalisa (Lisa) is the owner and she was so welcoming! Her girls at the front desk gave us a tour of the facility and then the experience began. We changed and put on our robes. Our package was 25 mins massage and 25 mins facial. My friends said it was all affordable and well worth it. I was able to experience my massage with Ely and OMG! Hands of an angel! Everyone who was lucky to have Ely as their masseuse came out looking relaxed. Yaneira did my facial and she was so informative on what to do and not do. Another masseuse that stood out was Lisa (the owner) ! She had to jump in and whoever walked through her door walked out with not only a great massage but with words of empowerment! They false advertise that they have amenities such has a pool, sauna, and steam room. But upon attending for our treatment we were told that the spa needs a life guard on staff to use the facilities. They had a kids swimming class occurring and we were not allowed to use those features of the spa! um, how can you be full service if you can't use the amenities advertised? Very disappointing. The spa had you change in the service room no locker room was available. While the treatment was good and I don't blame the therapist for the facility to be misleading. I've been following them for a while on Social Media for a while but with COVID have been skeptical about going into a spa. Received a gift card and decided to splurge on an 80 minute in home Deep Tissue Massage. Incredible!! June, the masseuse arrived in time, was courteous & professional. She did the perfect Deep Tissue, plenty of pressure but not painful. I also dealt with Customer Service at the salon to utilize the gift card and they were very responsive. read more

i am very disappointed about this place, massage was good, but all other amenities were Terrible, elevator wasn't working, steam room out of order, woman showers out of order, no towels, no snacks, the water machine out of order.. i went to this place for a massage and to enjoy all other amenities the pool, the sauna. if I knew this all these amenities were out of service I would have pick a different place. read more
