Called at 7:30pm and asked for a massage for two ppl at 8:30pm, they said they had availability. We showed up at 8:25pm, and the woman said they only had one massage therapist. I recently visited the Coz Spa, and my experience was not good. The ambience was nice and facilities were clean. but unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. I have been going to Korean spas for over 10 years for this treatment. It normally leaves your skin supper soft. The scrub can be from 30-50 minutes and then a hydrating massage for 30 minutes to 45 after. This was my first time doing it at this spa. I called and they said that the scrub is 45 minutes and the massage is the same. For $20 more you can extend the massage for an addition 30 minutes. They also mentioned they have a sauna which is free. I asked for the 2 hour Urban Vacation. It is little over two hours before closing so they did not want to accommodate so I chose the 90 minute Eastern Indulgence (Korean Body Scrub). They asked from payment first, so I paid $130, then they took me to a room and gave me a towel. About 7 minutes later she comes back and took me to the wet room. No robe, no slippers which was odd. We entered the room and it was freezing. I told her it was cold; she ended the scrub after 10 minutes and put me in a cold sauna room. After about 4 minutes it got warm. In about 3 minutes we head to the massage room. The room was nice and warm, but the massage was terrible. I asked for a stronger massage, but it did not get stronger. It was not good. While in the room she complained that business is slow, and she comes from palisade park to work there. After 70-75 minutes in total, she said all done. I told her that she cut it short, she stated that I came in 90 minutes ago. She left and came back with water. She seemed nice and I gave her $50 tip on a $130 massage. She asked for more and told me that $50 is not enough for 90 minutes. I was shocked. I told her the scrub was shortened, the time was shortened as it included the time to pay, her to set up and the sauna. She got nasty and I left. In summary, the cozy Spa offers clean environment. However, the inconsistency in the service from the industry standards and their menu along with lack of gratitude was disappointing to say the least. I would suggest staying clear of this spa. This is not a good business to support. read more

Amazing couples and/or individual massages. Going again this week. Yippee!!

We are from Pennsylvania and were in town for a wedding and had some down time so we decided to get facials. Unfortunately the person who does facials was not in so we decided on a couples massage and I'm glad we did! The establishment has a clean and very relaxing vibe with soft music and natural noises playing in the background. The ladies who gave us massages were absolutely AMAZING. They made sure we were comfortable and relaxed. We even had some light conversations that made the experience even more enjoyable. I promise their hands are magic! Long post, but worth it. I have been here numerous times but this visit was awful. Normally I am allowed to pay after the service to tip accordingly and this time I was told by a lady I've never seen before I had to pay prior so I did with a standard 15% tip (1 hour massage). Nope. INSISTED I do 20%. Someone else walked in on me while I was changing without knocking. Service finally starts and the lady only massaged the top 1/4 of my back before she left the room and KISSED the top of my head. When she returned she was all over the place, using a wet towel on my back slapping it and dragging it and asking personal questions. She started to focus on my neck and was pinching me and continued to ask if it hurt and when I said it did CONTINUED to do it till I removed myself from the area. This happened more than once. It was almost like she was trying to hurt me. She sat next to me on the table and just starred at me which made me extremely uncomfortable. This was 30 minutes into the hour at this point and she asked if I needed anything else and I said my feet. So again she was pinching me and saw I had a tattoo on my foot and gasped and slapped my foot and rubbing it as if trying to remove it. Added to this appeared to be yelling at nothing in the corner. I left prior to 35 minutes being up as I was uncomfortable and concerned. I have never experienced anything like this before and I wish I had gotten her name but all I wanted to do was get as far away as I could. I went back the next day to try to speak with someone about all of this and was not greeted by anyone when I walked in so I left and tried to contact by other means with no answer. read more

Found a little Gem! I drove past this place and saw the banner for the spa and decided to check it out. Everyone was adhering to Covid rules, wearing masks and shields and the staff were all friendly and very accommodating! So I booked an eastern indulgence for my boyfriend and I. It was exactly what we needed! We started with a private sauna session and saw that it was sanitized before and right after, then we went to another room where we got a traditional Korean body scrub and scalp massage, it was heavenly! Totally worth it and felt very safe. We left completely relaxed with softer and smooth skin. Love this place!! read more
