Don't go I went for a massage and as I was getting ready I realized the room was cold. When the massage person came in to begin I told her I was cold . She didn't know what I was talking about, didn't speak a word of English. She left the room and brought someone to interpret. Two minutes after she started she pushed hard on my spine and caused severe muscle spasms under my ribs. I couldn't continue and she didn't understand and kept rubbing the area making it worse. I kept telling her to stop touching me and she didn't. Not a word of English, never asked how much pressure to apply and that's a big problem when they can't speak any English. A tip? Really? Would recommend to ANYONE. This place is a hidden gem. It seems a bit sketchy and the man you get on the phone is a bit unusual but they can usually get you in the day of. You go in and it is nothing fancy at all. You are basically lying on a piece of tissue with a towel on you but it is so worth the price. $55 for a one hour massage is great. I've been blessed with having many massages in my life. Some from nicer spas and a most of these girls are better than those. I did have one bad experience out of the 40+ times I have been there was the massage was not good at all but I still think it's worth it. This place is one of my secret weapons. The massages are low cost, which means you don't get all the bells and whistles of a luxury or casino spa, but you get the bare bones which is all I really enjoy. There is a language barrier, but I don't like casual talk when I'm getting body work done so it's perfect for me. Time of day also matters here, if you come early, they are rigorous, come late to the evening and it's more relaxed type of massage. I have my sweet spot and you'll have to find yours. Cash, debit, or check, NO credit cards! Parking and availability is never a problem. I always call ahead and they are able to get me in. What I love so much about this place is thats is so affordable that I can go a 2-3 times a month for the same price as you would pay at a high end, casino spa. This is by far the best inexpensive massage I've ever gotten. I've only been here twice as I don't live in the area but both times I got a high quality hour long deep tissue massage. If you want a gentle relaxing massage that's not what they do here but a painful deep tissue massage is a lot more beneficial in the long term. Lately I have been having a lot of pain, stiffness and even numbness in my left shoulder so I asked the masseuse to focus on that area, and she did a great job. I got a whole body massage but with more attention on my spine, left scapula and left arm. She was responsive and used less pressure when I said it was too painful, and more pressure when I said I could handle it. The next day my shoulder was very sore but the good kind of sore and much more flexible. They even use hot stones, which feels great. Most places charge a lot for hot stones. I've never been anywhere that just uses hot stones without even advertising that fact. I find the beds uncomfortable but for the price I can't complain. read more

Maybe it's luck but whenever I spontaneously call to see if there are any openings there are some within that hour if not sooner. You walk in, and they get you right into your room. I paid about $45 for 60 minuets and got more from this massage than any other overpriced place around. You can tell that the woman knew what she was doing, and when I asked her to concentrate on my neck she massaged it in ways I never felt before. Great place to have baby oil rubbed on you for very cheap. If you are looking for a massage, this might not be the place for you. First 30 minutes of the one hour massage is rubbing you while you are under a towel. The next 20 is mostly rubbing oil on your back with the remaining 10 dedicated to the rest of the body. This is the only place I've walked out of a massage, twice. The thing is it's hit or miss. Sometimes you get people who have gone to massage school but a lot it's just people rubbing oil on you with their hands and then their arms. They still made me pay even though I ended early. I have had a decent massage here but it is hit or miss. After first bad experience, I waited 6 months and tried again. Same lame experience a second time. I'm done. Good luck. This is a no frills place so don't expect the Fountain Spa. What they lack in ambiance they make up for with their wonderful massages. This place isn't for everyone since their massage practices are similar to a real deep tissue. But you walk out feeling like a relaxed noodle. They also pass the no frills atmosphere onto their customers by charging only $45 for a one hour massage or $65 for an hour and a half. Sometimes your serenity is disturbed with hallway noise- they are basically in a house type of building. So if you can overlook luxury and you can handle a real deep tissue massage, give them a try! Another good aspect is sometimes you can call the same day and they can accommodate you either right away or soon thereafter. They also offer other alternative types of treatments like cupping although I can't comment on anything other than their massages. read more
