I had a few burns from a previous acne treatment and she was gentle and suggested great alternatives to correct it. I was super happy with my service. My skin feels more refreshed and clean. Helene did a great job! I will most certainly be returning back here for another facial by her. I was not disappointed and recommend checking her out if you're in the area - even if you're not, it's worth taking the drive as I did myself. Also a huge plus she's so sweet. Only con was I was informed the service would cost me $50. When going up to the desk to pay I was charged $65. Not sure why it went up $15 dollars. Looks like next time I'll have to triple ask before getting into the room for a service.

I made an appointment for a brow wax and basic facial, which I quickly upgraded to the lofty 'Collagen Facial' when the receptionist complimented me. I'm stupid that way. It's a beautiful place...high ceilings, breezy and elegant...with huge front windows so large you feel you could practically reach out and touch the SUVs on Kinderkamack Road. Oh wait. You almost can. Someone brings you a cup of tea while you wait. And wait. Finally my brow lady approached. She was a charming Korean woman, quite young and ingratiating. This was our exchange: Me: Not too thin. Just clean up the strays. Her: OK. Lie down please. Me: Not too thin, OK? Her: You like thin brow? Me: No. No I don't. Her: No thin. Me: No. Just the strays. Her: *girlish giggles* By now you've guessed the end of this story. Through some strange wax miscommunication, I was left with just the strays and no brows. For the next several weeks - despite judicious use of pencils, powders and gels - it was like Uncle Leo + explosion + Sharpie. Anyway, the facial part is okay. The collagen mask consisted of...an actual mask with eye, nose and mouth holes. W.T.F. This was placed on my face for 15 minutes while she gave me a massage, which I have to admit was pretty awesome. She told me I should come back every 2 weeks for the collagen mask. Um. Yeah. Except no. Anyway, if you like to be pampered and are not all that interested in maintaining your incredibly youthful appearance, Spa W will fill the bill. And let's not forget the view!
