The women that run the place are very knowledge, extremely helpful, and kind. I bought a bunch of kitchen pots and a hanging rack this week and they even helped me bring everything to my car! 5-star service and literally a one-stop shop if you need something for a friend's birthday, the holidays, a house warming party, graduation celebration, or even decor to host an event of your own. It's my favorite place in Evergreen. Love the ladies & love this shop - it's a must visit!

Also a terrific array of gifts such as gourmet foods, truffles, coffee, candles, lotions, soaps, aprons, etc., etc. There is a special children's gift section too. And don't forget that sales tax is only 4.5%-about half what you'd pay down the hill. Also they have a great annual sale with almost everything 20% off-I think it's Jan./Feb. timeframe-good time to stock up on kitchen items and treats. The staff is always friendly when I'be stopped in.

It was too late in the day, but I would like to go back sometime soon and get coffee. I had an apple hand pie and it was delicious. We were meeting before taking a scenic drive up Upper Bear Creek to catch the fall colors. I've stopped by here in the summer to grab ice cream or coffee through their adorable walk-up window off the patio, but this time we had the chance to sit and savor the experience. We were greeted warmly the moment we walked in, and after eyeing the tempting pastry case, we decided on our drinks -- a classic coffee for my mom and a latte for me -- along with a savory hand pie. Within minutes, our drinks arrived, followed by the perfectly warmed pie. Everything was delicious and made with care. The café had a wonderful buzz -- locals chatting, a few remote workers tapping away, small business meetings happening, and likely a tourist or two soaking in the Evergreen charm. It's an inviting space just steps from Evergreen Lake, with friendly baristas, great coffee, and a welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely be back for my next caffeine fix!

The service was absolutely top-notch and the food was delicious. We kicked things off with the Matcha Dumplings and Dragon Filet Pot Stickers (so good!). For the mains, the Ravioli and Filet were next-level greatness. Everything was cooked to perfection and the portions were spot on. The tables are thoughtfully spaced around the restaurant, and while quiet when we arrived, slowly filled in (but didn't feel crowded). We decided to start with the two appetizer specials - the arinchini, and the ravioli, both of which were good (of the two, the ravioli was more of a standout dish, with more flavors in it). For a main course, I had the duck. I'm not sure I would order it again. The first piece I cut into, I had a hard time cutting, thinking there may be a bone, I realized it was just overcooked/tough. The bites that I had that were cooked properly, were very tasty. The yellow dollops of sauce on the plate were saffron flavored, and added an interesting dynamic/flavor to the duck. The winter vegetables were good, and it notes a cauliflower purée on the menu, but tasted a bit more like parsnip purée (either way, good depth of flavor, very tasty). The duck itself was also a bit on the salty side. The overall presentation of the dish was thoughtful, and looked beautiful. Others at the table ordered the scallops (great dish, served in a fun bowl), and the elk loin, which looked like it was cooked perfectly (medium rare/nice red center). We also had dirty martinis, with blue cheese olives, that were delicious. Overall, good meal, but the duck was a bit disappointing. I would for sure order something else.
