He convinced us to pay to drain the pool, pay for sandblasting, and start over with him. Then, in 8 months of service our pool still turned green multiple times. He defended that saying "Pool Go green every now and again, it happens. No matter who you hire". I was born and raised in Kailua and have never heard of pools going green multiple times in less than 8 months. Our pool has also often had large amounts of sediment and floating debris in that time and has not looked clean. Multiple weeks no one even showed up or contacted us that they had to reschedule etc. but Nick feels that is no reason to not pay for service. When we brought up our issues, he realized he hadn't billed us and threatened to take us to small claims court less than a week after providing the invoice. We have dogs and children and the pool gate was left open multiple times. they used our shock and chlorine and still charged us for materials. We do not recommend this company.

Swimming pool maintenance…read more.. When I bought my current house many years ago, the swimming pool was green with algae. The previous owner said to just drop a few chlorine tablets into the pool and it would clear up. Not true. My neighbor and his son used to clean my pool once a week. I'd pay them for labor and supplies until they got tired of cleaning. They taught me how to scrub, vacuum, check the pH of the water, skim the surface of leaves and debris, drain the pool when it's about to overflow, etc. Yes... It's hard work! Luckily, there's a one-stop shop for all of my maintenance needs. I was running low on chlorine tablets - and the bristles of the scrub brush were getting brittle (even after I rinsed off the chlorinated water). I drove over to Kailua and got help/advice from the knowledgeable sales people, bought my supplies, and got to work! Ahhh... The joys of home ownership! LOL!
