When we entered we first noticed the cleanliness and then a wide selection of mostly sandwiches on the menu. We both ordered the El Cuco which is basically a Cuban sandwich. Blue Sky is a home away from home, and the most wonderful place in the world. I could go to Blue Sky everyday, for lunch and early dinner, and find myself going there anywhere from at least 2-5 times a week. Their homemade soups are absolutely delicious, from the vegetable to the chili to the potato leak, changing everyday, all amazing. I could not imagine being a student at W&L and not having the experience of being able to go to Blue Sky for lunch, and catching up with friends along with running into many more friends. This restaurant also has a fantastic family and neighbourhood atmosphere. Family-owned, the owners Mike and Brenda, along with the other employees, are welcoming to every customer that walks through the door. I enjoy visiting with them every time I come in, and they take the time to get to know all of their customers. Mike's BBQ, the Chicken Salad melt, the Garden Salad with Chicken Salad, the Pesto Club, everything on the menu is absolutely delicious - I love that there are so many fabulous and delicious options.
