Posting on behalf of my mom, She called and made an appointment, everything was okay. She took the day off of her english lessons to make it to the appointment. She calls the day of and they tell her they dont have a record of her appt and they make zero effort to reschedule her. My mom was so disappointed, I seriously hope this isnt due to racism and my mom clearly having a thick accent. I'm recently new to this Med spa after coming here at the recommendation of my hairstylist. And I wouldn't go anywhere else now. I've been coming here for a couple months and have gotten Botox done by Erin and had some services completed by Summer. Both ladies are so sweet and also really good at what they do. First off, Erin is amazing. I knew during our consultation that we would hit it off and that she was only going to recommend what was right for me and not go overboard. I wanted to look like myself, and still have some expression when smiling and raising my eyebrows and she achieved that for me. I'm still super smooth and don't have lines but I look like me. I've consulted with her about my lips and under eyes/cheeks which I think I'm going to do post Covid (whenever that is!). I love that I can also get my brows and lashes tinted here too. Full service! These ladies are so kind and helpful! I always worry walking into any sort of spa (med spa or regular) because I don't dress fancy. I am usually in mom clothes and look like I need 6 cups of coffee, so I am very sensitive in how I am treated when spending money on myself. I found the employees here were very welcoming. Purchased laser and chemical peels and I am very happy with results so far! The chemical peels (pyruvic?) are really clearing my skin and making it look more smooth. I've known about this place since they opened but only recently I went there for my first appointment, I figured whatever dr Olson signs his name under has to be first class and I wasn't wrong. The staff is super nice. Jessica and Paula were the ones that I've seen. They're are knowledgeable, listen to what you like to accomplish and give you their honest advice They don't try to sell you something you don't need and make sure you're happy with the results. The signs of aging are really starting to show, and having to wear a mask all day I started having trouble with acne. Summer had a thorough consultation with me, came up with a short term and long term plan to help reverse the signs of aging and prevent further signs. I just can't say enough about how much I love my visits at Blue Seas. I just completed my first skin tightening treatment with Erin using the Morpheus 8. I was a little nervous that it might be painful, however, Erin did such a great job explaining everything, and she used a numbing cream ( I had to sit for an hour to make sure I was good and numb).I brought my laptop and worked while I waited. After the hour, the procedure was fairly quick and I barely felt a thing. I had one tiny bruise, but otherwise Very little redness and downtime. This is the best place to get Injectibles in Naperville!! Erin is the best injector and talks you through everything so you know what to expect! She is also a true artist and spends the extra time to make sure your look is flawless. I had too many people just come at me with needles before and it left me anxious!! I started going to Blue Seas Med Spa back in June of 2021. I saw an esthetician, Jessi for a consult and was advised to receive three pyruvic acid peels. I purchased a package for three. After my first peel, I was left with a dark, burn spot. I immediately reached out to Jessi who assured me that the spot would go away. I then received my second peel. The results stayed the same. I then reached out to my esthetician and we both decided that it was best to not get the third peel. I was advised to get the skin pen instead. I received a skin pen treatment in August. The esthetician numbed me very well and I genuinely left feeling good. I then realized that I was left with large dark spots around the mouth. I looked into this myself and also reached out to the esthetician. She had me come back in a week later and her and the NP, Erin both looked at my face and told me that this was a side effect of the treatment, post inflammation hyperpigmentation. I was advised that the spots would go away, and to use hydroquinone, a bleaching agent. Everyone at the office was extremely helpful and responsive. I was extremely anxious as the hydroquinone was not ordered and no other option was offered to me. I do understand that the esthetician may have felt that I was reaching out too much because I then received a call from the NP asking me to not call the office. I haven't since then. I finally came in to pick up my hydroquinone, which I had to pay for. It has been almost 89 days and my skin has not gotten better. I reached out to the esthetician via email asking for some refund back as this has been such a horrible experience for me, leaving what it seems to be permanent damage on my face. I sent a follow up email 5 days later and still have not heard anything back. I genuinely did not want to leave a review like this but at this point I feel extremely helpless. I do not blame anyone from this office for what happened to my face as I do understand it is a side effect. However, I do not feel that I was taken care of well because if I was, at the very least I would not have had to pay for a medication to help fix the damage caused by a treatment done at their office. Since then not one person from their office has reached out to me asking me how I'm doing. I am afraid to even reach out asking for assistance as I was told not to call. Simply because I was worried about my face, rightfully so. I am requesting someone to please reach out to me even if it is via email, and I am requesting a refund. read more
