Although this means we'll ultimately have to have a significant amount of the tree pruned, Langley's Tree Specialist went above and beyond to provide me with recommendations, including documentation that I could share with Code Enforcement, to postpone this until January, when the tree would be more able to handle the stress. Such a responsive company! More concerned about the health of the tree than getting the job out o the way and paid for (which I was 100% willing to do to avoid fines, etc.). Because of the type of infection it had to be treated before the end of September. The arborist never gave a quote. We called the office and spoke with numerous people who would tell us Cody the arborist isn't good at his job and lead us to think someone would get back to us and have our tree treated but never followed through. It's really disappointing having this experience and sad to see our tree slowly die. I would not recommend using sav a tree to anyone because they could not act with professionalism and ultimately lied repeatedly making us miss the window to treat our tree even with another company. We started off with another landscaper that ended up going out of business…read more Fortunately we only lost a little money with those folks, but we nonetheless had to start the shopping process over again. We found J&P on Yelp, and they were able to start w/in a fairly quick time frame. The crew was on time, every time. We didn't have the funds to nail down our whole project in one season, but put a good dent into the final project this year. These guys laid pavers for a pretty good sized patio for us, and we've gotten numerous compliments on how great it looks. They spent a tremendous amount of time measuring, leveling & cutting all the pavers to get them perfectly in place. The project took longer than I anticipated - but only because they spent so much time working on getting everything laid out and level. Our final project calls for a pretty good sized outdoor fireplace. In addition to the pavers, they planted some trees and threw in a couple trees for us, and they did the rough ins for the gas line once we actually get to the fireplace. We are quite pleased with our choice of landscapers and can't wait to get everything finished up.
