The communication them and us was quick and easy, and seriously - we can't get over how wonderful it looks. We are 1000% satisfied with the concrete work. We do wish they'd done a little bit better of a job cleaning up the mess in the yard (they left a lot of concrete debris in the grass as well as a bit of trash; when they came back to seal somehow some weed mat got ripped up, which they didn't put back), but it wasn't enough where it was worth asking them to come back for and it doesn't change the fact that their concrete work is excellent. They cleaned the as-it-turns-out very dirty chimney, told me a couple pending problems and what it would cost to fix them, without trying to upsell me that day. Very good. The price was exactly what they'd told me ($199), both guys were nice, professional, covid-safe, and efficient, and they certified my fireplace for use. But when they installed a new stove, only one person showed up and he was new and ended up dropping the stove because he couldn't get it up the stairs on the deck. After the install, the stove has leaked, causing my windows to smoke up and the carbon monoxide detector to go off. We were the last home to have its driveway poured before temperatures plummeted last October 2025. We paid the GC for the job in full at the time it was done, only to receive a NOTICE OF LIEN on our home in January of 2026. We could not understand what was happening at the time. Then we found out that all the homes (about 8in total) that had their concrete poured before us were also having liens put on them. We have since learned from a neighbor that Justin Buxbaum, one of the owners of On-Demand Concrete, had actually admitted, that by October (when our concrete job was ordered), they had not been paid by the GC for several jobs, which we did not know or have any way of knowing, however, On- Demand Concrete chose to deliver the batch to our job anyway. Their poor business judgment is now our nightmare. We have proven that we paid in full at the time of the delivery. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO HAVE A LIEN ON YOUR PROPERTY, DO NOT HIRE OR LET YOUR GC HIRE ON-DEMAND CONCRETE!!!!!!! They made a very poor decision to keep delivering concrete for a GC who wasn't paying, and now they want us to pay for it.
