They did the immediate cleanup up and came back for the large removal project. It could not have gone better. Fast forward 2 years and we needed to remove our last 2 conifers for wildfire mitigation in a high risk neighborhood. I called them back as I feel they are the best arborists around. Locally owned and staffed. The set up for the project went well, the timing perfect for summer between the move out of last year's students and the arrival for the upcoming year. The house closest to the tree is the house next to ours which is student rental home for CU off campus housing. When they are between summer moves , there are fewer parking issues as well as not interfering with their lifestyle. The team came this morning m, right in time, having procured the no parking signs for such work and having the utilities locators done in advance. The work when exceeding well, removing the already broken spruce and the aging and badly place piñon pine, too close to our house. The team of arborists were amazing. I would certainly use them again if I could but I am out of trees that will ever need removals. Call this place first if you are ever in need. In Colorado, we are facing terrible wildfire risks and all communities will need evaluation. In this area, Blue River can't be beat.

He recently removed a dying ash tree for me that was right next to my sunroom (lots of potential shattered glass) and leaning over my roof. Chris does maintenance cabling/trimming on a neighbor's huge bracket backyard cottonwood tree and removed two huge cottonwoods for my next door neighbor last year, so he was highly recommended. Pricing was also very manageable; of about 7 total quotes, Reinholt was among the less expensive group that was willing to remove the tree by climbing rather than with a crane. I delayed the job by about 6 months from the time I got the quotes and had some communication misses when I went to reinstate contact, but we cleared that up painlessly. Chris showed up with a crew of 4 guys. Within 90 minutes the tree was down and they'd cleaned up and moved on to the next job. Everyone was polite, mindful of the landscaping and they definitely left the area cleaner than they found it. They brought what looked like 3/4 or full inch-thick sheets of plywood to protect the windows and left no damage. As a female homeowner with no "man of the house" contractors can be challenging, but Chris is not one of those and I definitely recommend him.

That is why we initially called, for that branch. They didn't get the bucket truck as promised. Perhaps they forgot to pull the permit? Not sure, but possibly. Not only did they fail to trim this sizeable tree branch over the sidewalk as promised, but they cut many, many healthy branches within the tree, so rapidly that we had to yell for them to stop! And they did. Tree now possibly has Emerald Ash Borer disease, of course not Patriot's fault, but they won't make good on any of the work they promised to do previously but didn't. Mainly we wanted them to trim this one branch. They still could if they wanted to, but they won't. They are giving us quotes today, for MORE work, including what they were supposed to do the first time and that we paid a lot of money for. Tree is ridiculously untrimmed and misshapen, not primarily from the disease it seems, but from their haphazard "trimming". Huge branch still over the sidewalk. We paid them around $1000 at the time. They could have made good on their work today, but did not in any way. Quite shocking HOW non-cooperative they were. We will never recommend them to anyone.
