Blue Ridge - Business schedule - Television Service Providers Near Me - Ephrata, Pennsylvania

This guy Phillip is soooo rude hungry and unprofessional......I will NEVER recommend this cable company. He is very angry...be careful

Wellsboro Pa. Internet service is by far the worst most unreliable connectivity I have ever experienced in all my years. Thank goodness I no longer work from home or I'd have lost my job with the State a long time ago. ( I see more BLUE RIDGE cable trucks running around Wellsboro working on stuff than Penndot trucks on the highways). read more

Worse company in the world. Very rude and useless. If you need help they will say, "sorry, there is a technical issue. Would you like to take advantage of a $200 dollar gift card?" And no matter how many times you say no they keep pushing it on you, but won't do anything to help you. read more

I have been with blue ridge for several years. Always problems with connectivity to internet. It is terrible. Even have the booster. Need this to do my job at home. Blue ridge tv is also horrible. My parents tv continuously freezes and 3 circles continue to rotate. If you're looking for reliabilty don't go with blue ridge! read more

it's just getting worse and worse. Hands down the WORST cable company ever. Overpriced, and it feels like I'm connected with a piece of yarn and a styrofoam cup. Rhatbwould actually be better. I cannot wait until Comcast shows up. Yep, I'll gladly pay that bill. read more

If you could leave negative 5 stars Blue Ridge Communications would be the first. I've been waiting for their Fiber Optics upgrade for more than 2 years. They're not so fast internet that cuts in & out leaves you wondering why u even pay them? You get better Communication using two cups and a piece of string. Their customer service, (What customer service) is a joke. My kids give better answers then they give. All I ever hear is excuses from this company, frankly I'm surprised their still in business. They should be paying their customers to use their services not the other way around. Thanks for service or lack there of & continuing to figure out how to give us the best service possible. read more

Rock solid connectivity. Always a person to talk to versus an AI robot. One drop in two years due to the street getting dug up.

PLEASE FIX MY BILL!!!! YOU ARE OVERCHARGING ME!!!!! I have a "CHANGE OF SERVICE CONFIRMATION" email from BRC for the new rate. I have been with BRC for 19+ years. With cable, Internet and now streaming. I received a discount 3 YEARS AGO because of the bad service and the promise of their Fiber Optics upgrade. My discount just ended and I had to renegotiate another discount because I still DO NOT HAVE FIBER OPTICS. Now my new bill reflects no discounts and I am being overcharged from the price that I negotiated and have a "Change Of Service Confirmation" email from BRC for the new rate. Out of the numerous phone calls so far to your customer service, my problem is still not resolved. The last phone call I was transferred to supposedly someone who could help me (again) and I was put on hold. I decided to see how long (this time without getting frustrated and hanging up) I would be on hold. After 1 hour and 15 minutes later I was still on hold! I hung up without speaking to someone. I have called numerous times and at different times during the day. When I select (from the automated system) billing to be transferred to, no one who answers can help me with my billing problem and I am always transferred to a black hole of being on hold. As of writing this I still cannot get my billing charge fixed and my internet service for streaming is still spotty and drops out. Also stop telling me all my internet problems are because I have my own modem (brand spanking new one) and it's not yours. Stop the BS. What happened to you BRC? Years ago you were pretty good with service and getting back to people and with answering your phone. I should know I have been with you for 19+ years. Stop the BS - FIX MY BILL!!!!! read more

I not happy with the new way with this streaming cable is working, It freezes with 3 little circles in the middle of the TV when you're watching TV show I hate that this is what i'm paying my money for this is not good services. Give me back my old cable box I had no problems. I hope Blue Ridge will fix this Problem is going on frequently. read more

worst service ever. Constantly have to unplug and restart. Why dont they fix this service? read more

Blue Ridge - And here we go again - Television Service Providers Near Me - Ephrata, Pennsylvania

This is the worst WiFi I have ever had it's sooo slow if you game don't go with them... I have ask them to run some tests on my WiFi router and they say they will and never do I don't recommend this company to anyone read more

Always available, techs out next day, friendly! Now has fiber optic in many areas and will soon convert unreliable coax with true fiber optic. read more

Ruth in customer service was outstanding in her assistance with discontinuing service at the home of my stepfather after his passing. Very kind and compassionate! read more

internet connection is poor most of the time. I have reset it and doesn't get better I pay over 200.00 mo for internet and tv and have lousy reception. I have called and cannot get assistance or any reduction in my cost read more

worst customer service ever. i go in to pick up two sim cards for my girlfriend. she calls the main company and they say it's okay to go get the cards. i go there with a ford pin number and they still wouldn't give them to me! so i have to drive 10 miles to pick her up to bring her back and take her back again. three girls don't know what they're doing even after they were emailed from two different people to give me the cards. most unprofessional place ever! read more

If you don't game, and you don't work from home, blue ridge is bearable and it reconnects pretty quickly without having to troubleshoot your router or modem when it cuts out 3-6 times a day. But for me and my work situation, I am unable to continue with this any longer and will be moving over to comcast. I understand that location is an important equation when it comes to the consistency of your internet. But blue ridge internet is even less consistent than when I had comcast deep in Amish country. I work from home and my family loves to game so I have their fastest internet package, but it still fails to get the job done. My wife streams her games online twice a week so her friends can follow along, but in the past 3 months, there hasn't been a single stream that hasn't crashed due to the poor internet connection (20+ streams). She has all but given up on streaming because of this. I understand there being different times of day when the internet is stretched thin, but recently I counted 5 different times during my work day that the internet went out, most of which was during meetings with clients. Maybe if I paid for a business package they would provide a concrete solution, but if you want reliable internet for gaming and working from home, I'd suggest using blue ridge until you get comcast to install their lines into your home and then run from blue ridge like the plague. read more

If i could give 0 stars I would. They lie to you about their services and they are extremely high priced. Their internet sucks. They charge you $54.95 just to walk in your home for installation and $24.95 per box for installation., plus a $50.00 deposit. Customer service is terrible. I left and got dish with no installation charge and I pay $90.00 a month with 4 boxes and can record 16 shows. Screw blue ridge. read more

I recently moved to an apartment that only uses blue ridge. I've only been here for a week and the cable is horrendous. There are so many errors, freezing, and repeating itself. It's awful. I like to be able to leave the tv on for my dog, but when I get home, there's an error message saying no cable or something like that. When I'm watching shows, no matter the channel, the video freezes often. I'm spending ridiculous money for cable and internet for crappy cable that freezes and has error codes. I'd rather spend ridiculous money for Verizon or comcast. At least their cable works and is watchable. read more

I would like to say that Blue Ridge communication has raised my bill in the middle of a Pandemic when nobody has money $90 a month and all they tell me is there charging us more so we gotta charge you more what a way to take care of your customers during a time of need read more

We have to reboot the system 2-3 times per week because their system goes down. Also when you're watching a program, it pauses and you see the spinning symbol. Ive looked into other providers but Blue Ridge has some kind of contract in Manheim Pa and we can't get another provider read more

Doesn't work well with other apps Freezes allllll the time The hd picture quality makes me wish I hadn't spent extra on my tv Horrible on demand section- does not rate movies; no previews and little to no information about the movies. Ohh and the darn remote always falls apart! I feel like I'm using Comcast form 2001 read more

Over priced service!! They are about to take over our local cable company! This is really needed since the only service we have is old and very outdated no internet! I have to use a mobile hotspot for Internet right now :( when BR takes over sure we will have a lot more channels and a real internet service but at a cost that's completely out of line!!! I thought Charter and Zito were bad but the rates BR charges is way out of line especially when cable companys are hemorrhaging customers today!!! How long they can keep this up??? Who knows but when Elon Musk gets Starlink running for North America all these greedy corporations will have serious competition!!! I won't feel bad if they fade Away!!! Greed always bites back! Karma works in mysterious ways! read more

the only thing that bothers me about BRC is the fact that they won't bring in the Big Ten Channel, they claim that the Pocono's is a New York area, and they wouldn't be willing to pay extra for the BIG. it seems a little ironic that a friend of mine from Long Island enjoys watching Big Ten sports on his local cable company in New York, and I've been to Connecticut, Maryland, as well as New York and all of those states cable company's offer the BIG Channel. Also, what really burn's me is the fact that we are paying for the SEC channel on BRC, unacceptable. read more

This company it ridiculously expensive. They do not give long term customers any consideration. For twenty years my husband and I were listed together in the phone book ( there is another local man with the same name ... no relation) so we have always listed together so that we don't receive his numerous calls. So this year in the 2019/20 phone book they removed my name. I called to correct the over site. They said they can not list two names. Going down hill from the bottom of the hill is hard but they have managed it do so. Can't wait until they have a competitor. We'll leave them the moment we can. read more

Always had a great experience with Blue Ridge as my Internet Provider. Recently they doubled the internet speeds so you can 60mbs or 100mbs down. A tech recently told me that they are upgrading all their infrastructure to digital so they can offer even faster speeds. Customer Service has always been friendly and helpful. read more

@Franz S lol ceo of company bf. I have never been so dissatisfied with a company in general. Look at the cost of living and the COVID 19 situation and your prices compared to the rest. You are the true thieves 130 just for internet charge a month ahead of you are a day cut service kids are going to school remotely. Lucky I don't have options karma is something read more

By far the worst cable/internet company in Lancaster county. The only reason they stay in business is that they have a monopoly on the area and no other providers can come in. The first year or so can be nice with the pricing because you're a new customer but then after that expect the price to go up. Customer service won't work with you either. I dropped the cable and started streaming tv but then the internet slows down dramatically around 8:00 in the evening. Horrible service and a horrible provider. read more

Who cares what they offer you compared to other companies. Their service and download/upload speeds are basically trash at the same prices as the competition. They are very outdated overall. Upgrades are also non-existent considering they'll just throttle you back down to the baseline levels anyway... Being the only internet service provider in the area of my second home, everyone in the area is stuck with this hot garbage. I'm sure this money hungry monopoly even knows it, considering they won't claim their own company on yelp because of the reviews, lol... Will some other company step up and take the place of this lost cause? For everyone in PA mainly, I'm sorry you have to deal with this company. The fact that they are taking advantage of everyone during this whole pandemic as well is disgraceful. read more

So i recently changed my blue ridge service....still remaining a blue ridge customer for many years. They no longer come out to pick up their equipment n set u up...unless i pay an extra $50!!! Really blue ridge?? I am not an IT person n phone support does not cut it for me. What ever happened to customer service?? read more

been a member for almost 40 years, the prices have gotten crazy, basically everyone is stuck paying for the expensive channels because BRC forces you by saying its apart of the service. then when you try to call, doesn't matter what time in the early am or pm, the wait is over 40 minutes, they are always overloaded with customers the recording says a high volume of calls?. Disney/ABC/Nickelodeon, and all the Espns are apart of the high prices BRC claimed on the phone, which are stations I do not even watch!!!! I only watch a limited few, seeing is how to get ethnic stations they of course are above channel 20. how can streaming services be so cheap for the same channels??? basic plus which is station 2-97 is over 100 bucks now? how is this not price gouging? it just is amazing how the fcc, government, attorney generals office, whoever, lets this go year after year. I haven't even touched on the internet I have is very basic and for 4 months I didn't even have it, they could see it wasn't used nor working, paid for it and they don't know why, but they also didn't give me credit for not having it???? not to mention if you use BRC internet to stream they screw you there to with pricing, with caps etc, so you are absolutely screwed as a customer in Lancaster county. I have never been late, never not paid a bill, never been rude even after dealing with a few nasty reps, never even complained about pricing till now-- there is absolutely no respect or gratefulness for customers, especially loyal, longterm customers. BRC forgets without us little people they wouldn't have the power, jobs and money that they do how is this not deceptive business practice? read more

Overpriced, slow, and right now no internet! And no number to call! I'm missing optimum and Comcast which I now think are superior.

I never thought I would say that I miss Comcast....Horrible customer service waiting on hold for over 30 minutes only to be told I will be billed for all equipment until taken to their office which is only open till 5pm. Never again!! read more

The price is almost as much as my car payment for 3 boxes and internet. We used to have comcast which I hated then but would welcome now! I want Verizon fios but alas Blue Ridge or Dish are the only options. My biggest complaint is that nothing is ever updated on demand... it's like you're forced to spend extra for a DVR. Not a fan! read more

Terrible! Really sucks we can't have Comcast yeah I just said that. I know how much people do not like Comcast but trust me Blueridge is worse. There introductory rates are ok but as soon as they run out your screwed. They will not do anything to lower your bill either after the promos run out. Horrible customer service, every once in a blue moon you will get someone nice, but since they have monopolize the area I guess they can treat people however they want. Greedy and money hungry. I would be completely ashamed if I were the owner. read more

The only thing I miss about Jersey is optimum. Blue Ridge is the worst cable company I have ever seen. I can't even play online video games because they charge for data like a cell phone. How is it even legal for them to be the ONLY company around in northeast PA? F**k blue ridge. read more

Update: I was debating on renewing blue ridge for cable or going with a different provider. Since I still planned on having blue ridge internet I called to see what they had. No deals... I totaled it with them that I would be paying $160 a month for the top tier plan, internet and movie channels. I said no thank you and went to direct tv. With them, I have all the movie channels and service for $52 a month. Wow! Direct tv does have deal and discounts but you have to call. read more

Customer service is absolutely terrible. And that's after dealing with comcast. I waited on hold for over an hour on two different occasions, no off-business hours for install and they absolutely REQUIRE that someone is there for install (comcast has a self installation process that is way easy). Prices are absolutely insane for less performance (I pay for 15 mbps which is more than comcast's 25 mbps which is actually speed rated at over 50). All this and I don't even have service yet because I can't take off of work to meet a cable guy. I would give my left arm to have comcast back. I didn't know there could be customer service worse than comcast but at least they answer their phones. Oh, and then I call them and receive a message that they are experiencing larger call volume than usual (Longer than an hour wait?!?) and to leave my number for a call back. Get a call back in 15 minutes and I'm PUT ON HOLD TO WAIT FOR THE NEXT AVAILABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP?!?! If there were any other possible choice for high speed internet, I would tell this company exactly what they could do with their service. read more

No change in internet speed..still extremely slow. Most streaming movies or videos buffer constantly no matter what time of day. They just disabled my channels saying they are all digital now. Just another way to force you to lease their pricey boxes each month. I have an antenna and the picture is 100 times better than their digital picture. Still looling for a way out. read more

It is hilarious that "Communications" is in their business name, because they are inaccessible for customer support. Chat not available, four phone numbers are not in service, are dropped or are constantly busy. Terrible. If I had another choice, I'd drop them in a second. read more
