David identified problems we had wondered about and was able to explain in detail what the risk of not fixing them would be, as well as what would be required. All of it was not good news as far as what we were facing. The previous remodel we did 12 years ago with another company in town had covered up and concealed a host of issues. We especially appreciated Davids direct no nonsense approach to delivering the information - he doesn't pull punches - he tells it like it is. We had problems structurally with our pool - period. If we weren't prepared to address them, then David was not going to work with us. Other big pool companies that came out to quote barely addressed the possible structural concerns - like they thought it was too much effort to work into their quote. Without any hesitation we signed on with All American Pool & Spa and the process unfolded in the way our contract was laid out. I feel that based on the outstanding service, this company and their representative deserves all the praise entitled. Unfortunately, many variables (cost and multiple individual projects) led us to choose another company. In searching for a residential pool build with a design in mind for our new Las Vegas home, we cast a large net using Yelp and personal references to 'interview' for this project. On first contact, we informed Crystal of BYOP that we were shopping around for the best builder to make our dream come true. Without going into minute details, we only wish to say that from the initial contact, we were met with friendly professionalism and a desire to make our dreams come true. Crystal was able to take our conceptual design and come up with exactly what it was we wanted and answer any questions we had regarding any aspect of this proposal project. Her communication was always cordial and without delay. Ultimately, the one stop shop approach turned to a contractor/builder situation to save costs for another project. Had funds been unlimited, it would be another story. I really appreciated how any time I had a question, he responded pretty quickly and just the personal care and attention he gave. I received other bids from other companies, and Mojave Blue was right in the middle. I constantly get compliments how great the pool looks. I've had other pools in the past and I must say with this experience I have little to no complaints and I definitely recommend this company to others.

This month, we hired BND Pool Plastering to complete a much needed renovation of our existing pool…read more Besides BND, we got 2 other estimates. All were competitive and each used a different pebble-type finish. We made the decision to move forward with BND because of our outstanding experience working with Michael, our estimator, and because BND is the only company in the valley trained and approved to install Wet Edge Technologies plaster products. We fell in love with their Prism Matrix Indigo Blue product (a multi-color pebble finish with glass beads, shell and tumbled tiny rocks). Their pricing was in line with the other estimates and fell in the middle to upper part of all estimate costs, but offered a longer warranty at 5 years and a longer estimated lifespan than some of the other finishes (estimated around 20 years with proper weekly care and maintenance). Overall, we are so happy with our decision! It was a GREAT experience working with all of the BND team and the finished results look fantastic!! (See photos.) Michael was just the best to work with! We were referred to BND by Jaron at California Pools. He provided me with contact info for Jay, BND's owner. He had Michael reach out to me right away to set-up our first estimate appt. Michael was my main point person during our whole project. He was so patient with us and let us put every color sample chip in our pool underwater next to our new tile selection before we finalized the contract to ensure we loved our selection. (It is so important to see them submerged as the colors can be very different under water than when they are dry.) In addition to draining our pool, chipping out the old plaster and replastering our pool, we also had the BND team remove our old calcified glass waterline tile and part of our back wall pool tile. The hard water in Las Vegas made both of the old tile selections almost impossible to keep clean. BND installed our selected Pearl Matte 12" x 24" pool tiles purchased from Aquabella (6" x 24" around the waterline to minimize grout lines). They handled the ordering and materials pick-up with Aquabella. (Our grout selection was TSP Sterling.) The whole renovation process was so well organized by both Michael and Dani at their office. And their crews were awesome!! They worked clean covering all of our outdoor furniture with heavy plastic along with our driveway, underneath their slurry box in the street as well as any of our walkways they would be using for their tools and to transport materials. Marco even put down plastic under the hose on our artificial turf when draining the pool. The whole chip-out process was completed in one day (Friday) with 12 crew members. The 2-person tile team came the following Monday to both remove the old tile and install the new tile. Both crews were so careful around our pool decking and our stacked stone on the back pool wall that was staying. All the guys worked very clean which I truly appreciated! Michael would come each day to inspect the finished work and give the okay for the next phase of work to continue. Dani at their office would confirm the following day's work schedules with me each afternoon. We had our pool lights replaced by Nationwide Pool LLC on Wednesday which we planned with our scheduling. Replastering was completed on Thursday. On Friday, a small team returned to complete the light acid wash. In a 9-day span, all of the work was completed! Marco returned the end of the following week to re-install our pool cleaning pop-up heads. Michael and BND also provided detailed instructions on the first 30 days of pool care after our pool was re-filled with water. The timing was perfect for us to use Nationwide Pool for our 5-day new pool refinishing kick-off. They appreciated the detailed instructions to insure proper care. Michael also fielded some extra questions from me the following week that came up during our 5-day kick-off service. Overall, Michael and the whole BND crew and staff were wonderful to work with. We are in love with the finished results and look forward to swim season starting in our beautiful new pool! Thank you, BND!!

We scheduled a meeting to better understand the cost structure and 15 minutes in, he was yelling at us (literally) and upset that we asked too many questions. How can any business expect customers to sign a contract for $300,000 and not ask questions??? In my experience, there are only three reasons for this: 1 - you don't know your own business and are embarrassed you can't answer questions; 2 - you are hiding something-in this case over inflated prices; 3 - your just a jerk and don't care about your reputation or business. In any case, none of these are acceptable. When he stood up and leaned over the desk to yell into my husband's face, that was it. We walked out and will never do business with him...and I encourage everyone to stay away from this company.

They charge their customers 11k for a STAPLED fence in an extremely windy area!! I know nothing about fencing but I do know you shouldn't use staples! They put two sides up and the very next day the one side had fallen over ( yes the neighbors dog jump on the fence.) They did come out and "fix it" with MORE staples and stated if he needed to come back out he would charge me more money! As time went on the other side of the yard's fence (where there are NO dogs) has completely fallen down in less than a year! You DO NOT build a fence with STAPLES!!! His business is only bonded for 2k. He is charging 5k plus per side of the yard and is using STAPLES. I just had my parents and boyfriend fix his mess!!!

The other half was epoxy with a colored flakes combination which could no longer be matched. So, I contacted Ben who offered options to beautify an ugly patio. We decided to go with stripping the painted section and grind out the existing epoxy section and re-epoxy the entire patio. It was a bigger job than I expected. Ben and his crew: Gabe, Julio, and Bryce work tirelessly for several days to complete the job and finished on schedule. We had excellent communication with the crew and the entire work area was cleaned up at the end of each day: windows, doors, screens, yard, etc! My wife and I are delighted with the results.
