Mark from K&M came after I called because the heater would not ignite. He tried to ignite it and he did not know what the code meant. I showed him the manual with the code and he still didn't know what the code meant. Long story short, its May and the heater finally works after the Hayward heater tech came and said the propane volume wasn't correct to be able to work the heater. I am very confused, frustrated and quite frankly angry when a licensed company installs a pool heater, they know what propane requirements are needed. This took 5 months to fix and $350.00, we paid the propane company . I have heard Mark is semi retired. Thank you! Im going to report this to the home warranty company.

I myself tried to work with this company so not to change to a different vendor. When I met with Larry owner of Calavan's he had no interest and pretty much laughed in my face. I decided to try and see if he would make things right however, everything got so much worse. Our pools at multiple properties went from the green algae to black algae. I highly recommend NOT using this vendor as you can see by all the complaints on Yelp. This is real and true. Be safe

Worst Pool Cleaning Experience, do not use…read more I have used Perfect Pool for the past several years and recently had many issues. #1: I had replaced my pool gate last year and somehow a post snapped off at the ground level and it just happened to be near where the skimmer basket is at that they access weekly. While I have no way to prove that it was Perfect Pool who broke the fence, it's strange that it broke in that exact spot that they need to access. #2: My neighbor called me on 6/15/24 and said that my pool guy was throwing leaves over the wall and into the street. After speaking with Freddie (Perfect Pool Owner) he said 'no we don't do that!' Giving him the benefit of the doubt I left the issue alone. #3: I happened to be home on 8/30/24 when Perfect Pools came to clean my pool. I watched as he skimmed the pool and then emptied his basket over the wall at least 3 times before I walked outside and called him out on it. In his words, he said that he does it all the time. I fired him on the spot and reached out to Freddie but have received no response as of this post.

The geniuses who built the pool made it so the pump is up against the side of the house so everything would have to be taken out. Talked to Jennifer I believe, who has good customer service, from JNJ Pools and she schedules me their next available which was not soon. But I get a text later on the day and they had a cancellation and would be able to send someone out the next day. Tommy arrives to help me with the pool pump and he knocked it out. Great customer service by Jennifer and Tommy. Now that my pool is fixed, on to this damn irrigation that we just discovered. SMH.

I called them back on July 27, but they didn't return until August 4. Instead of standing behind their work, they claimed the repair was outside their 30-day warranty, even though it was the exact same capacitor they had installed. Because of that, I had to pay my American Home Shield service fee again. That's $100 on the first visit and another $100 on the second visit--all because the part they installed failed. I'm now out $200, have wasted weeks waiting for repairs, and my pool has turned green because it couldn't run properly. American Home Shield should seriously reconsider using this company as one of its service providers. A reputable contractor should stand behind the parts they install, especially when the same part fails so quickly. Based on my experience, I would not recommend JNJ Pools to anyone. The low rating they have is consistent with the service I received. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration, and choose a different company. Mine to Matt came here and tried to tell me that my capacitor went out because it's hot outside. They just came here on June 11 and by July 27 when I made the request for them to come out again my capacitor went out because the capacitor is like a battery and it doesn't last that long because of the heat anyone that has a Pool nose that is complete BS they are scam artists!
